Nice to see that my shill reviews have sold us another unit :ninja: ........i mean.....uh.....cool OF, hope you like your TV as much as I do

Keep it up, yer on the list too buddy. Just in case you really aren't TV.......

An honest 'double teamed' guy doesn't really stand much of a chance once you snake oil salesmen come to town, does he. Come to think of it we never even saw the oil part......

Between us girls, I think I've already had a LOT of fun for my $250.....and the vape hasn't even shipped yet. Pride of ownership often comes at many levels. For sure my unit will be something special, coming on a short bus like it is. Whatever you do, don't let TV find that out...unless you are him, in which case never mind.

I'm done bro, I can't take it anymore :ko:, I'm in for a Blk T1 w/some xtra mouthpieces and spare batteries and now that the "choice-making" is over now starts the "waiting" , the "daydreaming about the waiting" and of course the "medicating while waiting" :)

WooHoo "Your Order ID is: #1***" SWEEEEET! I can't wait to put this up against both my MFLB w/the PowerAdapter and my SOLO w/a fresh charge! :D

How fine are you grinding? Ive had a bit more success with this by grinding finer than is recommended, but yeah, i still stir probly 2 or 3 times a bowl, someone earlier said they were just giving theirs a shake instead but it didn't seem to do much with a full bowl when i tried it

Man, this came out right as I was about to pick the Solo for my first and only vape. Now I'm just about ready to go with the ThermoVape. Might try to hold on until Chance2Vape & BossBrew report on their experiences as they both seem to be Solo fans.

Trust me I know the feeling. Good call getting the extras, I decided to wait for the 'just around the corner' Revolution order.

And good point, we do have alternatives for the awkward waiting and waiting. Life is good.

low tolerance is underrated
how bout on a 3/4 load, can u just tap on this throughout the session to mix/shake the contents to achieve even vaporization?

Got ya beat, dude, my order ID is #1***. So there. TV likes me more than you.

I'm leaning away from a confrontational deal, perhaps more along the lines of welcoming a new family member? I mean just 'cuz I like Bourbon, doesn't mean I'll turn down a nice Single Malt Scotch. Or Brandy, come to think on it.

As Rodney King so famously said.......

Then again, come to think of it, you've got my (credit card) number, don't you? Outmaneuvered by a guy that could in all likelyhood be SFG under a different assumed name. Hard to tell what to believe in these days.

For the record, I'm not going to lurk around my own mailbox waiting on the Postman.....much.

Go ahead and gloat.....you know you want to.....

This would most likely work but as to be expected when i have tried vaping smaller loads in the TV the vapor is definitely not as thick, i prefer to load it near the top for bigger hits and just give it a stir or 2 but i can see how having to unscrew and stir could be a pain in the ass for some folks, looking at the design it seems like if the little circle of holes on the top cap had a bigger footprint stirring may not be as necessary if at all, the holes take up maybe 1/4" as is, seems like maybe if they took up more like 1/2" or so the outer edges of the load may get more even heating.

Thanks, it's been a hoot fer sure. And this is only round one.

Talk about your 'value added'. Even if the unit bombs (remote as that chance is) it's been fun. And I'll soon know first hand how much smoke and mirrors is involved....and trust me you can't trust me to keep secrets, or to spell stuff right.

Interesting idea. If I follow you correctly, you're saying that since there's no exhaust hole above material around the edge of the top, there's no air flow, therefore not enough heating? Makes sense. I wonder if we could cobble up a Macor bushing close cut to fit over a reduced load at the top of the bowl (just under the top cap) and tapered on the inside so the opening in the top meets the hole pattern (no corner involved for cold spots to develop). That is a cone shaped hole, big end down. It would also reduce the volume while keeping the fill factor high.

OTOH, I'm already used to opening the MFLB, dumping it in the palm of my left hand for a 'second grind' then back into the trench without spilling. How hard could that be to do here?

We do need to be willing to sacrifice for our art you know.

Be fun to play with it, but first it's gotta get here. I wish TV would actually get it in the mail and get back to work on that oil burner......

Wow this thread really took off. The TV looks amazing and if I wasn't so poor after the holidays I would have been placed an order. Looks like a truly portable replacement for my old No2. I love my LSV dearly but being a slave to the power outlet sucks sometimes.

Awesome reviews coupled with manufacturer forum participation along with videos showing a very hardy unit sold me.

I too now await in anticipation.

Are these the type of batteries that won't exhibit that super rare occurrence of venting off/self discharging within the unit? (memories of e-cig days using devices from supertmanufacturing.com and thagbuilt.com are floating up where they built in vents for this)

You're not the first guy to say this. I'm not going to let it happen to me.

Rather, it occurs to me that all those investors had the same deal going waiting for dividends from Barnie Madoff now didn't they? More excited about getting it in the mail than most anything they could remember waiting for? Not a good sign. Maybe I'll go worry about that instead?

Personally, I still have not seen enough clear videos, of quality showing some good views of the unit being used for herb.
I am very interested in a unit like this.
I have seen 2 units offered for resale, at a very early point after purchase.
The info I am seeing concentrates on the units durability, which is not of paramount concern, as vaporists take care of their tools (but of course durable is a plus! ;) )
It would be fantastic to see more footage of users loading and using the unit to "vape a chamber"

Yes, these batteries (the Tenergy rcr123a that come with the ThermoVape) do not catastrophically fail, the LiFePO are the safest (per the manufacturer) of lithium technology. Also why they are used in electric vehicles, which have to be able to tolerate the vehicle undergoing tremendous strees (crashing) without battery off gassing or exploding.

Those failures you are remembering, we're with old school unprotected lithium ion batteries. These are the traditional lithium ion, now these batteries are offed as a "protected battery" which has a little PcB in place to shut down the battery and prevent failure.

No unprotected standard lithium ion battery should be run in the ThermoVape. It is designed to be used with the rcr123a LiFePO4, and will perform optimally with those batteries. Tenergy is the best of the bunch (the flashlight guys over at candle power forums have done some great head to head comparisons of top batteries, tenergy won in the rcr123a category).

That said, the Thermvape is still vented, there is a vent hole in the bottom of the battery sleeve.

TV: I have sent a couple of emails asking for a tracking number, but didn't get a reply. As you seem to be actively checking this thread more than that inbox, could you please provide me a tracking number for my order? It's order #1069.

Hi ThermoVape,

Yesterday Theplacetime started a Vaporpedia entry for the ThermoVape. I've actually been compiling an entry for a couple of days but he beat me to it, the rascal. I've since added most of the material I've put together so far, but I've got some questions. For now, I'd like to know whether the information in this earlier post is accurate, and if not what is the correct information?

I'll be adding more material in the next day or so, mostly gathered from this thread and your website. Please take the time to review what's there so far and let me or Theplacetime know what changes might be necessary--or you could get a Vaporpedia account and edit the entry yourself. If you opt for the latter, please keep in mind that despite the suspicions of some, Vaporpedia is not a marketing resource. Entries should be informative but not include marketing hype.

Finally, congratulations on developing what looks to be terrific new device. The Revolution really will be revolutionary and I'll bet that it will sell really well. I'm predicting a lot of people will buy the ThermoVape just because it has that adapter.

Sorry about that, with the holiday, our girl who is responsible for those emails and tracking was pretty swamped yesterday. It is 8am our time, she will be in at 10am, I'll make sure it is the first thing she does.

Again, sorry for the delay in getting your tracking number to you, we are getting our system optimized so tracking is sent automatically but it is not up and running yet.

Cheers,

BOUGHT!

KIT + Ecig adaptor + Metal Mouth Piece + 3Day UPS = $351.67

Thank god for credit.

I quit smoking for a month already! And this will help me even more. From 10+ year old Eterra to a MFLB, I am making leaps and bounds.

Questions:

1. Seems I paid about $5 extra for the kit VS. buying tha parts separate. Why the price difference? I paid the extra $5 thinking I might get something special :brow:

2. Can you put a #1 serial number on this unit for me please? Even if you scratch it on with a key :brow: I know you can do it, please!!!

The thing that makes MFLB a little cooler is the fact they have a serial #. Can you please add a serial # to these, pretty, pretty, please? Mine being the first :)

I love that you guys are willing to make the new stuff - one vape to rule them all! I can't wait to order the Water pipe adaptor, and Revolution.

Also I have some ideas for you:

1. Egg whisk or Blender adaptor - bake and vape!

2. Shaving adapter - shit shower, shave and vape!

3. Light saber adapter so we can make cool youtube videos

4. Flashlight adapter

5. Fleshlight adaptor

6. USB adapter to charge my phone in emergency

7. Fork/Spoon adapter

8. Drill/Screwdriver adaptor

9. Blowtorch adaptor

10. Vibrator for the ladeez

One vape to replace everything in the world!!!

Thank you guys for doing that, great resource for all things vaporizer. The information from the previous post you link is actually not accurate. I think the was entirely our fault, the forum found us in the first few days of getting the website up and we did not have everything fully vetted and edited. The ifo from the site now is accurate.

I would be happy to provide any information, and. Gladly set up an account juste to make sure the informative information about the ThermoVape and related products is accurate.

Thank you foe the encouragement. We think the revolution option and the e-cig option does really add value to the ThermoVape, we are very excited.

Cheers,

Thanks for the info, and you are more than welcome. I suspected the kit description might be incorrect, but what about the picture? Is that a Revolution adapter or the e-cig adapter?

To get a Vaporpedia account, you need to send vtac an email request.

Also I have some ideas for you:

4. Flashlight adapter

Nice set-up! Love it. I think you will like the ecig adapter if you are quitting smoking the AVA atomizer is a beast. it is a craving crushing atomizer.

On your calculation are you factoring in the 6 batteries that come with the kit? Because if you bought the Thermovape by itself $210, and the charger kit $25, and another 4 batteries $20 you would be at ~$255, plus we are throwing in an extended mouthpiece with the kit, so you are getting the already discounted price, and saving ~ $15.

On question #2, when you get your Thermo look at the bottom, there will be a tiny #1 right by the "t" laser etched onto the device. :)

Idea number 4: we are actually working on this, that way when you need to travel, from one mm state to another, by plane, train, or automobile, the thermovape could be transformed into a powerful, compact LED flashlight. Obviously we have other accessories that we are making first. But this will likely happen, that is the ultimate stealth vape.... Pocket convection Vaporizer to functional high end flashlite in 3 seconds.

Consider you other ideas under consideration ;).
