Good afternoon, thanks to all for sharing your Milaana experience. Clearly you're a very creative group whose imagination knows no bounds. Keep up the great work.

Quick update on a heat issue with one of our units, we're working on the use instructions which will help avoid this pitfall and more quickly deliver the results many of you are now experiencing. Note: To avoid a heat issue, always remove the battery when the unit is not in use.
As we transition from retail to wholesale, we're here to make sure your time away from your Milaana is minimized, if issues arise.

Thanks again for your support.

HA-HAAA!
My milaana is here in the UK too, and I've just put my first proper bowl through it this minute

As reported my many other folk, this thing is just FANTASTIC!
I was (very) slightly concerned about the manual nature of the Milaana, but Stickshift (as my unit shall henceforth be known) suits me just fine, down to the ground in fact.
The ramp-up when heating is very easy to regulate with the button.
In fact it seems as though it's going to be so easy that I no longer even have any worries re' operating the vape while TFT (totally f***king toasted), which I'm well on the way to being BTW.

To compare it to something which many people might have some familiarity with (box mod), it's a little like RBT has already identified the perfect wattage/voltage, and fine control is available to us through feathering the button.
Gross control (i.e. either end of the temp' spectrum) is still available too, as I started my first hit at a nice low temp, and managed to deliberately end up at the other end of the range 6 hits later without combusting.

Single bowl, short stem, dome screen, 80 per-cent fill, medium grind, no tamp, 6 hit, full extraction (as far as I can tell, I don't own a 'better' device to attempt further vaping of my ABV!)

Clouds and flavor are both excellent compared to my Inhalater05 (way better), and the open air path is a huge leap forward.

The 'on demand' nature of the device is VERY satisfying too, grip it and rip it sums it up nicely.

I'm delighted with my purchase, and even though I've run only a single bowl I'm confident that I'll remain so.
If things turn out otherwise I'll be back here to admit my error, rest assured.

Negatives at the price I paid are non-existent, even though there are imperfections.
Had I paid full retail I would be suggesting some changes, but I get the impression that these may be in hand anyway (and I wouldn't call them complaints as such, I'd still be happy with this exact unit at full retail).
The 'cons' as I see them are:

General fit and finish, I'd happily pay more for some small cosmetic refinement, but the hand-made feel is really quite appealing anyway, and the overall design is very pleasing.

Stems:
I like the system, the screens, and the wide open air-flow, but my long stem doesn't fit (it rests on the heater screen, and I daren't push down to try to make a seal.
My short screen fits, but the tip where it was cut is a little shonky (no biggie, it's smooth, no sharps), and the bowl/male joint has some very small cracks visible (difficult to photograph with my cell)

My female joint doesn't sit quite flat on the body of the unit and has a VERY slight 'leaning tower of pisa' effect with both stems.

I had to look fairly closely with my OCD eye to see these imperfections and again, I find these 'cons' quite acceptable at the price I paid, and only really report them so retail purchasers of the future can compare.

My wooden body is good, finish can easily be improved, but doesn't have to be if you're a 'no finish purist'.
Fit of the base is regular and even, with no glue visible, and no offset.

I'm TFT now, and this has taken some time to compose :zombie:, and I've started my second bowl

I keep saving up for the Zion but blowing my wad elsewhere :bang:
Now though, I'm thinking that I hope I've saved enough for the exotic wood retail MI when/if that emerges.

I'm gonna contact RBT re' the long stem and try to get one to fit so that I can flirt with combustion in comfort, wish me luck!

[ re-commences second bowl]

Clouds and flavor! this rocks
Sweet, so nice to hear Milaana's are arriving in Europe, congratulations. Seems like stem fitment is going to be a minor but ongoing issue - in my case my long stem fit perfect, but my short stem's joint is actually ~1.5mm shorter and wiggly in place. Someone pointed out that charring, when it occurs, happens on the intake side, so I tried using the wiggly-ness to rotate the bowl while pulling, fun experiment but not necessary w/ better technique. I've got custom stems on the way, I'll be curious to see what issues they might have. Seems like tight joints should be the norm, and the solution is QC, @charchol something to consider?

I'm so glad customer service ended up being phenomenal.
Only took some time and patience for the man to figure some shit out and unscramble his brain.

The Milaana continues to blow me away. Every time I hold it, I'm still so excited knowing it's real and finally in my hands.

It really is just the power of a HEAVY desktop in the form of a portable. That simple.

I don't think one good experience means customer service turned out phenomenally.

I had a great experience as well. Not trying to put down others bad experience but from what I have heard since they finally got things rolling with the Mi things seem to be a lot better.. I was taken care of in a way that I appreciated, I mean the CS was on par with what I am accustomed to, and I've dealt with some great companies with the vapes I've owned so I am satisfied. Thanks again @charchol I am looking forward to getting my vape soon. Also looking forward to hopefully placing a Zion pre order soon :)

Looks like a job for!
So, who's gonna step up and send me a unit?
[/SPOILER]

I have more than enough ordered.

If RBT will pick up the line I can Potentially get a unit's shipping address changed from mine to yours. PM sent to get the address conversation going.

If not we will just have to tough it out till # 2 arrives at my door and I can send it off to @DDave

CS is now very cool. Got an email response in 12 hours from Ryan re. Mia #2 / all pre orders will be out by 6/3, and possibly sooner. Hope I'm sooner, as I wanna start traveling with my portable desktop.

Every day may Mia experience improves. I keep getting a bit too high, gotta remind myself to slow down.

My product consumption has dropped in half. The deep level of extraction is something I've never seen, even with an enano. I like *unregulated*, it's like dipping a lighter to a fresh bowl. The control is in the pull, as it is with every Vape, but here there are no limits except what you set during the hit. Genius! Only problem, every other Vape is wimpy next to Mia.

First thing I did was pop in one of my vtc3's flip the screen to basket and load up with rough ground primo. Press the button for a few seconds and start drawing. Wamo flavor central:luv::drool:
All I can say is wow after two hits I felt like I had vapour coming out the top of my head.
More testing required
Back to the grind stone of pure :science:

Got the plastic case I mentioned before and linked up here at FC it's to small and suits my vapcap collection far better than the Mi, saying this it fits the accessories very well just not the vape itself. Got another few boxes to store Mi in now the vapcap has found a new home.

Mi Laana is finally in Greece as well guys!!! It will be a couple of days until we have our moments together... :luv: Worth the wait! :) Having been also bonding with a borrowed Hopper it will be interesting to pick up the differences... So far I still prefer my OG Vapcap to the Hopper for smooth, superior vapor production. :p

Wow..you prefer the vapcap to hopper in vapor production?

Edit..i also have a question or maybe just more of a observation..i am a master at getting nice fat cool rips of vapor on my mi when i use it dry..when i try and put through water which i really like to do..i preheat and have tried many different ways but i just get wispy or smallish huts and char all around the edges of the bowl??its naddening becuz i hear of all the power and all that..maybe indo have a cool unit but i get massive hits dry..
