Bah don't sweat it too much for the cells, the HE2/HE4/25R/VCT4 can be depleted down to 2.5V. Not that I recommend doing that often. But I think that in order to go that low you would notice that you need a very long preheat time and that's a tell-tale that you need to stop ASAP.
Honestly, I rarely drain past 3.8. I very much enjoy the instant heatup of the higher charged batteries. I'll never drop below 3.6 unless I'm stranded without a battery.
2.5 seems almost impossible to hit, and I'm pretty sure a member killed their battery after dropping it down past 3.4. May be wrong, or coincidental, but that's what I gathered.

FUCK CANCER TOO !
Does anyone's stem slide out of their Female end very easily? Mine is sturdy, as is my other friend's, but my 3rd friend has a larger female end that doesn't mate well with any of our stems. Oh well.

Hmmmmm....are we talking in code here? 'Cause if we're not then I'm pretty sure I can't advise you at all other than to say, consenting adults, man! Consenting adults!

I have managed to break both the short and long mouthpieces. I have them on order from the website but wonder what I can use instead. The ones from the xhale site?
Yeah, some stems that don't roll would be in order for some of us. That is certainly their greatest cause of death. I think we need to get OGB or JODA or someone workin on some fun stems and M2Ms we can point folk to...
I see the Milaana as an electric Lotus. More convenient, more consistent, and tastier. Probably more efficient too.
Lotus had been my favorite for a year or so before getting Venus my Zion. The Lotus gave me the biggest hits, the best flavor and most important the ability to take just one or 2 and put it down. Those are the 3 most important features of my favored vapes.
Milaana (and Zion) owns those features, without the bother of the torch. Huge hits on demand, outstanding taste and pure convection with practically zero residual heat to cause conduction so no concern about unfinished loads.

So, yes, comparing Mi and Zi to Lotus in performance is completely reasonable and a good comparison. And Mi wins on convenience and ease of use.

Funny you mention this...I'm on it already...check out the Joda Glassworks thread in 2-3 weeks! Problem is he will have to cut the joints to the correct length so there will be extra labor involved. I'm not sure how big of a deal this is to him...but offered to pay for the labor and he accepted. @Mulehead Weren't you in talks with Joda about a Zion stem as well? Did anything come of it?

@ataxian Are you reading this thread and all these comparisons to the Lotus? Just thought I should call you in here cause I know how much you love your Lotus. I can't say the Mi is near as tasty as the Supreme but I can say that it has given my Supreme much needed rest over the past week. I used to rush home for my Supreme on a daily basis and use it several times throughout the evening to medicate for pain. Since I have had my Milaana, I only use my Supreme now when I really have time to take in a session at the end of the night and not every night at least not right now while I am still getting to know the Milaana.

I don't think this is the best solution. He (and we) would be better off ordering the glass with US jointed stems rather than cutting them down. While it may work, there is much more potential for error and the extra effort of the blower is unnecessary.

Ataxian is who turned me on to the Lotus in the glass threads early on...

If I didn't have a Zion on order and absolutely no need for a portable, You folks would have convinced me.

Wow love reading all the reviews and first impressions!! I'm almost regretting not hopping on board the pre order.. But I just keep reminding myself the zion will come

I also keep thinking that if it happens, what will the rbt 3rd generation/vaporizer have in-store :worms: No idea if rbt plans to keep expanding the collection but it sure is fun to imagine :haw:

Anyways I just wanted to thank everyone for all the awesome reviews, pics, videos, and comments. The excitement around the rbt company seems to be the real deal!! I know I can't wait to get my hands on one!!!

:peace:

When he talked about safety he mixed an assembly solution (that should be risk free) with some power source. that is unfair because nearly any power source is dangerous or hazardous (it is a concentrate of energy)

18650 can be quite dangerous too, even more hazardous if you have to take battery off the vape when finished (without talking about sustainability of 18650)

Wrap it up. With high-powered batts, safety is all about responsible use.

I've reached out to rastabuddhatao to open a discussion. If they'll work with me, I'm game.

Fkk yesssssss
Another huge point is that people don't like glass that rolls, and you normally add little knobs or notches. And virtually NO ONE sells US unless it's a custom order for the most part. Would be a huge help to us all.

CANNABIS is my true LOVE!

A MILAANA is a heater operated by batteries and WOOD for the casing.
If you like it fine.
I agree with you 100%. I never got what you don't like about wood nor do I need to know, but from previous posts I have gathered that you don't like wood, however I do like a nice solid organic material for the casing myself so I am all good with the WOOD.

The Milaana is just an easier way to access my true love...perhaps you will try one some day!

I picked up a couple of similar ones from Illumn when I ordered batteries. They are nice and don't take up a lot of space like the boxes. I am avoiding having change in the same pocket just to be extra careful but these little rubberish sleeves are great @$1 a piece.
http://www.illumn.com/batteries-cha...1-x-18650-silicone-holder-dayglow-yellow.html

Yep. Illumn and IMR are the two best vendors for batteries, cases, sleeves, and wraps.

Advice to 18650 noobs: Pick up some battery rewraps as well because the original wraps on your batteries will start to wear over time, and that can lead to shorts. I like getting multiple colors so I can color-code married batteries. It's as easy as stripping off the old wrap, snipping to size the new wrap, sliding it onto the naked battery, and then using a hair dryer to heat shrink.

Also, don't lose those positive-end rings -- you will need those. Good idea to pick up a pack of those as well as you will inevitably lose some in the process of rewrapping. Illumn and IMR have all those items cheap.

My MI-ILLY has been by far my favorite battery powered portable of all time!
Thanks to @Vape Dr. for always great tips and tricks. Came up with one of my own finally, will call it the "poor man's battery life indicator"
I think @Bravesst was wanting one too!

I start out a fresh battery on 1, do a stem and turn it 90 degrees before each additional use. No more guessing how many stems I've done or having to put it in the charger to know what the battery level is.

I can get 5 stems out of a battery if needed but 4 markings is a nice round number at 25 percent intervals.
I use the lock down screw as the reference point.

Very smart idea! I suppose you could also do the same thing with the battery inside. Or a battery flip? Positive end means ur on the higher end of ur battery, after 2 seshes flip it to the negative end to remind yourself you're on the lower end of your batteries.

Am i the village idiot for letting performance taper off noticably and then switching batteries?

I never check the voltage.
Were both wearing hats with spinners on them right now if that's the case! I never check...hell, I get paranoid that my sessions went too long sometimes and get through session 3 only to find myself eagerly replacing the battery just for that fresh battery performance.

I never check the voltage.
I only know voltage because my charger tells me.
I just notice when the heater isn't keeping up as flawlessly, and that tends to be just under 3.8 when I toss it on the charger.
Don't get me wrong, you can get clouds bigger than any other vape down to the last volt, but with 4 batteries ... Why not switch as often as possible if the situation calls for it, yaknow?

Also....

Not at all, I just can't leave the door without sufficient power and if i dont need an extra battery why carry it.
I sure can't remember, could guess, how many loads I did yesterday on the last battery of the day.
One less thing for me to remember and keep track of is a good thing!

Hola! FC...hate to bother with this... but it has been some sad days for me :(... long story short, I had a tragedy with my device :ugh: and now it's burned :cuss: (should have gotten that guitar pick before :bang:, the button can be easily half pressed I guess... the Milaana was inside another pouch I got for it, and basically a mini scope found it's way to the button and held it down, while the whole pouch moved sideways, I know this because it's got the button burn mark on the scope), it's still working! :whoa:, but with a very nasty taste/smell. I wrote RBT on Sunday (via warranty page to see what I could do, is there another way to contact him?) but still got no reply, can I remove the female glass?? (it was loose from the beginning but with a little pressure it stuck back into the wood, but it feels like it is held with something... but just to try to clean the air path and get back to vaping) and then put it back in place without ruining the heater?? tia! :uhoh:
saludos! :peace:

Removing the internals will void your warranty. I'd wait to hear from RBT before doing anything that drastic.

So it will still heat up? Just has a bad odor and taste? That might go away over time. Maybe set it aside awhile and try again?

Your battery should be okay as long as the casing didn't bulge or crack. I've had something similar happen in a tube mod, and that sumbitch was hot. Let them cool down, charged them under supervision, no problem. Got much more life out of them.

Edit: If you want to be on the safe side, remove the casing and inspect the body of the battery carefully, especially around the positive contact. You can get rewraps through IMR and Illumn.
