I do realize theres a little tension in the air, and I apologize if i couldnt make heads or tails of previous posts. Have owned a second hand persei for a month or two now, and have been running tenergy rcr123 with 2.4 and 5 ohm carts with no issue. Did i get lucky that these batteries arent exploding or ? I get a solid 2 to 3 days of use and have yet to burn out a cart.

I think your definition of negative is different than mine because I saw several of your posts as being antagonistic, ridiculing, and having a general negative tone. Your assumption that this thread is for discussing your own personal issue ad nauseum is not correct. We have rules and you are in danger of breaking a few with your posts.

Again, I would say that you do seem to be demanding special service here. FC is not a place for you to get your customer service issues resolved with the manufacturer. This is not the Persei customer service thread. Please take note of the following rules. I've highlighted the salient points:

  • Don’t attack products or companies. You can post your opinion, and you can criticize, but posts written to offend are not allowed.
    • Please do not revisit an issue unless you have helpful information or constructive comments to add.
    • Use of the forum to blackmail companies will not be tolerated.
    • Posts in this regard will be evaluated based on their perceived intent.
  • No trolling. Please do not make posts that disrupt the peace and harmony of this board.
  • Don’t post for or the purpose of starting a dispute.

Your cooperation is appreciated.

:peace:

I'm not trying to have the last word here but I'm pretty insulted that you're highlighting points regarding blackmail, disrupting the peace and posting to start a dispute. Let it be known that all I did was take you guys through a little tour of what I'm going through. I'm accused of demanding special service when I'm the guy who was told to wait until March when other users got a replacements within days. I put in my ticket days before him. That would concern any one of you guys had it been you in my situation and not one person has even acknowledged it.

I mean it when I say this is my last post until G works with me tomorrow. I know I opened up a can of worms but I'm not going to be classified as a troll or disruptor when I'm just speaking my mind.

Happy vapin guys.

See the Orange o rings above and below the Okeanos logo? Those are 906 s70. I think they are a MUST.

Hopefully this will clear things up....

Added bonus...o rings make logos line up...ocd happy level up on the Okeanos.

Perfect! Thanks so much, man. I just took one of the o-rings that came with my Nibbler XL and did this so that when my replacement glass gets here, I can finally put this thing through the motions. Now to find out where the hell my replacement glass is. Seems to have been a mix up of sorts between the USPS and w9, but w9 is on top of it as always.

@THC SCIENTIFIC due to problems with my local post office, I am tempted to open a PO box in the town next to me. Its very close. Would I need to alter my billing address to match in order to make orders using PayPal?

I just want to know my options before I buy a box I can't use.

Thanks in advance!

=)

nobody gets special treatment guys if i have extras i help, sometimes i charge for it sometimes i dont, but from today on i just got a lecture from my partners as of this is being the exact reason why i am out of CS

Every single contact is going to go through w9tech.com and im just here to answer questions about how to use it, how to diagnose issues and other questions that does not involve your orders.

Im sorry but I cant sustain this anymore.

Bummer. Is there to be a funeral for the Golden Goose? Seems like once again, nobody really won.....but everyone lost some? Sort of like Chruchhill's comment on Socialism?

My take on CS is somewhat tainted, having done it a fair bit in past lives. My view is simple, there's a contract in force here. One both sides agreed to before purchase. That's what a customer has a right to, not 'I want what he got'. That's not how it works in the real world. There are any number of reasons why a maker might want to deal with customers differently (say for instance it's a known customer and the maker is using him to try out solutions?).

Looking on the site, that contract reads in part:
Please ship your product to: (Signature required, we are not responsible for lost items that have not been sent signature required.) Customer is responsible for return shipping.

  • Include your name
  • Last name
  • Return address
  • Phone number
  • Copy of your receipt
  • Description of the issue that you are having.

Once we receive your vaporizer we will either replace it with a new one or repair and send it back in a timely manner.

I assume the OP has not sent it in, and doesn't intend to ever? W9 is welcome, at their option, to 'do more' if they want I think, but they are bound to "either replace it with a new one or repair and send it back in a timely manner". Should you do your part (and send it in to that address at your cost), and I've no doubt they will do so. Think what you want about 'timely manner' but I can tell you from experience how Tort Courts view it, and having the correct repair parts available plays a real role here. No court will hold them delinquent by not shipping what they don't have......'timely' starts after 'possible'.

As to the 'you should strip new units to give me what I want now' argument, nobody seriously expects Toyota to pull parts off new cars do they? For sure nobody paid for that. And nobody wants to pay more for their unit because of it.....nor do they want a 'rebuilt' unit that's been worked on after it left the factory.

I'm sorry the OP is having troubles. He's not the only one it seems. Sadly this is the nature of such cutting edge stuff. As he pointed out, we come here hoping for the inside track to 'get over'. That has some risks associated and carries the added responsibility for each of us to educate ourselves in the proper use. Our responsibility, same as teaching you to drive is not Toyota's problem, or Stanley is responsible for giving you carpenter lessons just because you bought a saw or hammer from them (do carpenters even use hammers anymore?). They sell us tools and guaranty their use as described (or they will fix or replace at their choice).......like all tools, it falls to the craftsman wielding them to use them correctly.

I, for one, am grateful for the risks W9 takes to bring new and exciting products to market. In finest Capitalist fashion. It gives us more choices in spending our hard earned vape bucks. I find it indeed unfortunate that events like this can (and in this case did) diminish that for us all. G was a great resource for at least some in rapidly solving issues, now it seems that door has been closed with all of us outside. Not a positive change IMO.

I will continue to 'share the risk' on the brand new stuff from time to time, but accept that risk as part of the deal.

"No good deed goes unpunished".

Looks similar to my Okeanos! I'm only missing the bottom Okeanos oring. I'll be sure to pick some up more at the local hardware store now that I know what size to get, thanks!
I did an ISO bath on my center piece last night and tried it just earlier but still didn't see vapor go through the bubbler. I'm guessing it might have something to do with the tinier holes? So I was wondering what you used to clean those since I don't think I have anything that small that would fit through it.

The resistance of my Kiss cart Ti Gr2 brokes in several parts today :cuss: :nope:
It lasts me less than one week !
I know there is no warranty for this, but it's a real short life !

Hey G.
Do you sell titanium thread and the little ceramic rod ? (my bros can repairs it if he have these) ?
And do you know why this happens (and so quickly) ?

Here's another rule:
  • Public discussions of staff decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to a staff decision please take it up in private with a staff member.
Two other moderators have posted instead of giving you points, trying to get you to follow the rules. You say you aren't trying to have the last word, but you go ahead and post anyway.

Let me be perfectly clear: you are getting a warning point now. If you respond to this in a public post, you will get another warning point. If you post again about your issue, you will get another warning point. Do not refer to this issue again unless it is to announce a resolution.

I use a bridge flosser/threader made by glide. You can grab them at any tooth brush aisle. Though I would imagine heavy duty fishing line would work just as well.
