I have misplaced / lost the mouthpiece tube that came with my LB.

I have a houseful of my kids and my grandkids visiting so I can not get on my hands and knees with a flashlight and go looking for it.

I know I really don't need it as I can draw out without it but it feels awkward not using it.

I tried a straw but it is too large. I tried squeezing it in but ng.

Any suggestions?

I probably should have known to not fix what ain't broke, but I saw the grinder today on a minor sale and seemed to recall it was the preferred choice for MFLB users.

Only some users. I found the coffee grinder was more trouble than it's worth and I never could get all of the kief out.

Drier material probably is ideal for coffee grinders but I prefer not to dry my material.

I use a five piece grinder similar to this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/5-Piece-63mm-Sp...924?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5637c8a97c

I'm not sure it's the same size as mine but the material that falls through the first screen snd stays on top of the second is perfect consistency for the Box. And all of the kief collects on the bottom in a nice neat little package.

So what do you do with the material that doesn't fall through the first screen?

That link to the power adapter didn't work, but maybe that just means beta testing is over or something. If anyone else knows a way I could buy a power adapter please post.

Side Note: I have a Mendo Mulcher, best gringer on the market IMO. It grinds to perfect consistency for joints/bowls and my mlfb and vapor bros hands free. Not too small for a joint or bowl, and as my herb heats up after a few hits it breaks into smaller pieces when I stir it in my mlfb or vbhf. Plus its a lot cooler than a coffee grinder and is less of a hassle to use.

edit: also coffee grinders have no kief collection system like a good grinder

Maybe someone here has some insight on this issue. I recently bought 4 of the of the 2700 Maha AA batteries to supplement the 5 batteries I got from Magic Flight and from Vape World. I started using my Magic Flight back in late 2010 and have had no problems charging and recharging the stock batteries using the standard Magic Flight imprinted charger. I now have two of those. I have used the 2700s only a few times and last night I used one. I put it in the charger and the light winked on and then off. I tried the charger with the stock batteries and the light would come on. However, neither of my stock chargers would light up when the 2700s (I tried one and then two of them in the charger) were inside. What is going on here? Are they charging or not? Has anyone else had this issue? Is something wrong with the 2700s or is the charger incompatible with them? Help!!
Thanks! :(

AA nizn batteries

anyone ever try these?

http://www.amazon.com/PowerGenix-ZR...ZVZ0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1299449157&sr=8-3

can they be used in the MFLB?

theyre 1.6 volts versus the 1.2 volts of the batts we use now.

Product Highlights

* Charges Batteries in 1 Hour
* Charging Status LED Indicators
* Universal Voltage for Global Travel
* Charges 2 or 4 AA or AAA NiZn Batteries
* 300 to 1000 Cycles Dependent Upon Use
* Ideal for Power-Thirsty Devices
* Environmentally Friendly
* 100% Recyclable
* Equal to Alkaline Batteries at 1.6V
* 30% Higher Voltage Than NiMH

can Magic Flight chime in on these?

They do caution against using any other type of battery chemistry than NIMH. Those things are nickel zinc. The box basically shorts out the battery through the screen. Some battery chemistries might blow up.

I wanted to try them, but read that their mAh only worked out to 1100 mAh, that is why you won't see powergenix listing mAh but instead they use milliwatt hours (mWh), which is the product of mAh and voltage.

I also prefer using the box with a stem, so after mine cracked I found a plastic pen that perfectly fits the hole. It's about 25cm long, it cools down the vapor perfectly. I suggest you be creative and try finding something like me... :)

I agree with finding something around the house too, but understand its not always possible. Soo, if you come up dry in the house, Vape world offers two options, a pack of 2 mouthpiece stems for $5.99, or a mouthpiece/whip combos for $5.00. Both can be found on the MfLB accessories page on vapeworld http://www.vapeworld.com/vaporizer-parts?cat=102

**Edit**

When I posted the above, i just googled MfLB stem, vapeworld being the first result. Thinking back, figured i should post the blisssville options before just suggesting the reseller....and blisssville seems to be better priced too! They offer a single replacement stem for $0.90 and the silicone whip tube for $4.95, the whip is about the same $, but the stems are a fraction of the cost, you could get 5 stems on blisssville for less money than 2 on VW....didn't look into shipping cost though either....and then theres always eBay too...

thanks for you feedback Purpl3_Haz3 and derp and the links you posted.
My gratitude speaks.

I wound up just using the LB w/o the stem and will place an order for some back up stems.
thank you.

bruce48, unless I am mistaken (or they have changed their policy) if you write a note to Blisssville or email that you are only ordering replacement stems rather than the complete kit, the set shipping charge will be reduced.

So i'm looking to turn my MFLB into a slightly better home vape. I'm going to invest in an adaptor, such as this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/61898817/vaporizer-to-water-glass-on-glass or perhaps a larger one. Does anyone have any suggestions for a glass piece to go with it? Has anyone tried this/how well does it work?

I plan on buying a power adaptor as my next purchase. I will have pumped a lot of money into this vape/setup, so does anyone know if this makes the hits substantially smoother? I hate how my box irritates my throat; I cannot do anything to get rid of it except wait, so I want to solve this problem
.

Thanks!

yeah running it through water will make a pretty big difference. Just going from a extremely short airpath to a longer one will reduce a lot of the harshness, adding water filtration on top of that will improve it that much more.

Anyway, I used my LB a lot this weekend because i had kids and some ppl around who i didnt want noticing my other vapes, so they were put up. Its great being able to just step into the other room or outside and get some nice vapor hits.

I've definitely perfected my technique with the new box. I just take a couple hits at normal speed at first, and then slow the hits down as i go after that. With a fine grind and shaking between hits, the ABV is comin out a nice even brown, rather than having bits of green still in it, or worse, black.

And i got 3 trenches out of each battery and they still werent dimming the LED. Granted, my trenches are only 1/2 full, but still, awesome battery life. I couldnt ever imagine needing the power adapter when i have 4 batteries to use up. The only complaint i have about the newer LB kits is that i dont like the who battery tip cover thing, i'd much rather they still came with the battery cases instead. Thankfully my spare set came with one of the cases so i just use it instead of the tips. I dont like the tips because I always lose them. I tried just putting them on the negative end of the battery while i'm using them, but that just makes it more annoying to push the battery in. the cases just work better for me.

its vapor that condensed along the cooler surface of the airpath before it could be inhaled. You want to let this build up for a bit and then harvest it by scraping or soaking/rinsing with iso (not sure if its a good solution in this case tho since we're talking about acrylic instead of glass). You can then either smoke or do as i do an vape the goo on a bit of herb (not really recommended to do in the LB tho, a whip style vape usually works best for this).

You scrape it out and re-vape/smoke it. It is basically heat extracted THC or "wand hash" condensed on your stem :peace: :o :ko:

Nicely toasted off the newly arrived MFLB, and I've got to say how much I love this thing. First, because memory isn't my strongest attribute right now, let me immediately say that yes, MFLB guys, you have my permission to use this for a testimonial on your site! I'm a Vapor Genie apostate, having ditched the thing in an ill-conceived fit of zealous straight-edging. After realizing my folly, I decided a better vaporizer was in order, too.

The VG isn't terrible. I recommend it if you really, truly only have sixty dollars to spend (if that's still what they go for). That's because everything that's less than the VG seems to be garbage, and the VG certainly isn't that.

Excuse the interruption to the review, but I just can't resist saying how much I love vaping up after a tough workout. Do you have any idea how much easier it is to torture my body when I know what's coming after? And do you have any idea how much better the body high is when combined with post-workout endorphins? You all should tryyyyyyyyyy iiiiiiiiiiit...

Obviously, the MFLB has taken me to quite a peak, but I'll admit the VG got me just as high. What it didn't do was take me there without making me burn my fingers and taste something lighter-y, which it did all the time.

That's not to say stoners don't exist who can use consistently use the VG without burning themselves--I've heard of them, I think I even met one once but forgot to get his autograph, and you may be such an animal. Maybe, in other words, you have the ability to deal properly with an open flame when it seems the laws of physics have been altered in your disfavor because God was bored. That's how muggles affects me and most people I know, and if you're different, great, but I firmly hold that fire and our form of intoxication do not mix.

As for the VG's lighter-y smell--it was always there, even when I was sure I got the technique right. It's possible that I was just smelling something that was being burned off by the lighter, not inhaling it through the pipe, but whatever it was still diminished the overall taste-and-smell experience. For me, that's a deal-breaker.

The VG did get the job done, meaning it consistently vaporized my stuff without burning it, and I'd estimate--if I may estimate after having only vaped one trench with the MFLB--that the two devices are equally conservative.

So on to the MFLB. If you're a convert from the VG, you'll be delighted on your very first hit to realize that the old ritual of "hold flame at proper distance and draw constantly" has been pared down to the much easier "hold battery in and draw at your leisure." If you stop sucking on the VG even for an instant while the flame is going, it flies up and burns your fingers. This means you have to be ready to take a long, slow inhalation the moment you flick the lighter. If you're a skilled VG user and don't think that's a big deal, try the Launch Box and see how much easier life becomes when you don't have to worry about it.

To be continued later! Stoned yoga is seducing me. By the time I get back, I'll have learned a little more about the Launch Box. :)

I got my PA :):):)

I was literally stalking the USPS tracking all day. I got my package at 5:30 pm... I was so worried it got lost lol. I wanted to come post that I finally received it first but I was so excited I was tearing apart the package before I knew it :p

But yah, I LOVE it! I went from ONE stock battery to THIS... so its literally night and day. Question, might be a dumb question but... is it safe to leave this battery on "full" all the time? I'm worried I might short it... considering all the problems the PAs have been having I may play it safe for now...

But yes, I love it so far!
