Hi Everyone,

The first Beta units of the Power Supply will probably be available for shipping later this week. We will be making an announcement regarding the ordering process and design/usage details herein this forum when everything is "turned on" and ready to go. Very soon now...

edit: fix typo from typing too fast...

Very excited about this. I recently received my MFLB, and use it daily. The power adaptor would be perfect for me as I mainly use it at home. :D

Hi everyone,

This is my first post. I have had my magic flight launch box for about 2 weeks now and so far I really like it. :) I tried searching but couldn't find an answer so please forgive me if it's been addressed already. I vaped some kief and now have some dark brown spots on my screen. Is it ok to use a tiny amount of rubbing alcohol to remove them or is there another better way to go?

I vape kief in my LB all the time. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the brown spots are just a visual blemish and won't effect the usage of the unit. If anything, just slide the pyrex cover open, plug a new battery in and let it run all the way through to burn off anything that may be clogging up the screen. I wouldn't put iso on my LB.. :/

I also vape kief in my lb a lot, never had any ill effect. i agree the discoloration is just that, and most likely harmless. put a little iso on a q tip and gently clean the screen if you want, ive never done it and my screen(~1 year old) still works like a champ. only cleaning i really do is the burn, where you leave the battery in for a good 30 seconds or a minute, makes it very easy to clean the black gunk off the trenches.
make sure to throw it in with your abv tho :)

in for two when the power units are available!!!!!

I got the same result :( Maybe we need a reading comprehension course  because I
put my mouth over the hole and inhaled through my nose and.......??? did not get a
damn thing. So you're not the only one. :peace:

My airpath dont work like that :)

That just happened...
You slowly inhale through your nose as you also slowly hit the box. This way you don't sufficate while you take the time to get a proper toke. It's as simple as that. :)

That pretty much describes it.. The whole "breathe through your nose" method is just a way to help you take a really slow hit THROUGH YOUR MOUTH! ;)

I like to take very slow hits, but I only breathe in through my nose a couple of times when I feel the need for some oxygen.

You don't need a reading comprehension course, you need a technique that works for you. If this one doesn't, modify it until it does. E.g.:

If you're not looking for clouds, you don't need this technique at all, although I think it can be useful for teaching/learning. I suspect many of those who complain that the LB gives weak hits are simply drawing too fast, and this is a good starting point to learn what draw works for you. Start with pyromon's technique, gradually increase drawing through the mouth until you find your sweet spot.

Hi:
What exactly will the AC adapter for the Magic Flight do? I just got mine less than a week ago and am quite happy with it. It's a nice buddy for my iolite!
Thanks!

Hey folks I have my own technique with my LB, but it is a
secret society type of method that only full initiates can
partake of  :ko: .
Ok Ok I can't keep a secret...... slow draw micro-hits
get you to the promised land.
I am soooo vaked . :o

Today I cleaned the whole screen with the brush soaked in ethanol. I've been using the box for about two months now, and it seemed to be that it took more juice to brown the herbs properly (though it did work, but slower).

After this cleaning/burning session it seems to be working as good as it did when it was new. I read on the wiki page that magic flight said that this should have no effect on the efficiency, though I apparently experience the opposite.

Has anyone had similar observations?

Pull a TINY BIT slower, the cleaning probably improved the airflow so its not getting as hot.

After around a year of on an off use a few of my batteries are starting to crap out , I use them cheap chargers that come with the normal rechargables at like wally , the batts get real hot when charging so I figure thats what killed em but I dont really know .

I just ordered a C-9000 and 8 MAHA 2700's . Is the c-9000 easy to use , after I figure out what charge rate to use do I just throw the batts in like with one of the cheap chargers . I seen it has a bunch of options , hope I can figure it all out .

I haven't yet purchased the C9000 myself because it seemed too complicated for a stoner like me to figure out. I do love the 2700s I'm using though! :brow:

One thing that can dramatically decrease the life of the batteries(not saying this is exactly what happened to yours) is using rapid chargers. If you want them to last, use a 2 or 4 hour charger.

You got that wrong, it seems like it heats better when cleaned out... Maybe proper airflow was restricted by the buildup on the screen? I'm thinking it might have narrowed down the stream that goes through it a bit, hence the percieved loss of efficiency.
