The HI

Video is private. I want to see it because I think a recycler would be awesome for the HI. Would be cool if there is a way to go to 14mm male without an adapter. Looking at getting a Bates x Worm Diffusion Pump... a lot of people seem to be using a lot of diffusion which confuses me for vapor. The diffusion pump should mostly just cool the vapor and leave a tasty hit.

Fixed. Sorry about that. So far I have used my HI with a Mobius Matrix Ion, Worm Oilcan, and my Earl Jr. recycler. I prefer my recycler by a long shot.

I've rocked it on a recycler as well - really compliments the Hi nicely.

How does it pair with the Mobius? The Matrix is a piece I have always wanted just because it's awesome. How is the taste with all the diffusion?

This little Milkman Glass bubbler looks like it might pair nicely with vapor.

For me, the matrix perc takes out too much flavor. It's smooth as shit and works well with every vape I tried, but I can always notice the flavor loss.

This is not the Möbius thread, but here's my 2 cents anyway: for the first few tasty hits I like to tilt the matrix bubblers almost 45°. This lets only a few holes fire and gives you great flavor. Then, when the taste gets stronger and less enjoyable, keep it verical for this amazing diffusion that takes the popcorn taste away almost completly. Best of both worlds. Gotta love the matrix

Usually I hold the bubblers up to my mouth, so tilting is not a problem. I could see how people who like to keep it on the table might dissagree here.

I have found that smaller glass pieces work best with my HI. They use less water and usually have less diffusion so the taste isn't compromised.

I feel the same way. My little straight tube with a humble 6-diffusion slit downstem is just perfect with my HI. I also like rigging my Evolver Hydracirc. My Headford inline works quite well but doesn't taste as good as the straight tube.

I gotta say I am fucking loving the U-Tube. It's so easily adapted to anything - dry or with water! You guy's have gotta try it. Hey, anyone got a carry case they like for their Hi Accessories?

Alright - some Hi Porn...

hey everyone ive read through this thread many times and i think its time to participate as I RECEIVED MY NEW HI TODAYi got very lucky and got this bloodwood hi from mvapes in a sale . as many people have said it does seem smaller when you first see and touch it, after openiing the box i immediately plugged it in and waited. i timed it from when it was first turned on and after 7min i loaded the 18mm GonG it came with halfway full and put it into my apix showerhead. after reading about combustion issues i wanted to be very careful so i began experimenting with how far the HI was on the bowl. i haven't achieved the clouds ive seen on here but then again i just began my jedhi training..quick question: is it okay to place the hi all the way down no hands holding it?

Mrmrmrmrmr,

I have yet to buy a glass piece to answer your question about leaving it upside down... I'm still using high temp poly tubes.

I was having trouble with combustion until someone mentioned blowing onto the HI to bleed off excess heat. Once I got the hang of it, I have never combusted again even while using my Jameco adapter which is at about 13.6v.

The biggest combustion danger for me is when I let it sit for a long time, as it can build up that core of heat. If I've used it recently in the last several minutes it is cool enough that I can continue using it without combusting.

Congrats on your HI!

i noticed after being on for 40+min made the HI entirely too hot to hold and i turned it off because i feared the heat became too high. all i have is a power adapter i thought they could be left on 24/7?

They do stay on. They get warm and it first it seems hot but I assure you that you'll get used to it. I had that unit unit running for months. The other thing that you'll notice is that the unit will cool slightly after use. You release alot of that heat as soon as you pull on it.

But a VVPS helps others alot, it may be something to look into.
