Profoundly Medicated Musings

If you were born immortal but no one told you,how long till ya figured it out?
Think of all the close calls, all the near misses in our lives but we're all still alive!
I believe everyone in this generation is,in fact immortal. And we will be right up till the day we die.

My dog lives such an easy life, dude. He gets to eat, run around, play, sleep, drink water, poop wherever he wants to (but not inside... except today ). He gets excited when I give him the scraps of food he can eat, he freaks out with joy when he gets his belly rubbed... always gives me kisses. Gets the best spot to sleep on (his "half" of the bed), never yells at me. Always happy to see me after a long day or after I go outside to vape.

He's livin' the life and better than a girlfriend

My medicated musing for the day?

Very little makes me laugh harder than a psycho heavy metal gumdrop headbanging into oblivion with all his junk food friends. It's the kind of thing that will (temporarily) cure even the heaviest and gravest of blues.

This should be the opening to every movie.

Sounds like my life...eat, run around, play, sleep, drink water, poop get aroused by belly rubs, that's good living right there!
A lot of folks just don't understand the total unconditional love of a dog. They realy are "mans best friend". They evolved along side us,as our first domesticated animal they've been our friends, companions and guardians for centuries. Love a dog and he will love you right back. I know I'm a bit messed up in the head but I absolutely cannot watch those commercials about animal abuse.
I can look at a starving child with a hundred flies on his face without getting emotional. All I can think is "Your covered in flies! If you're that hungry eat the fucking flies"! Use what ya got then MOVE THE FUCK OUT OF THE DESERT RETARD! ITS A DESERT,IT WILL ALWAYS BE A DESERT,GET OUT OR LEARN TO EAT SAND! But an image of an abused dog (or cat) brings tears to my eyes. Just once I would like to grab someone who thinks torturing animals is fun and show them what it's like to be savagely beaten with no chance of escape. Just once...that would be a very good day.
Damn, now I'm all pissed off. Time for weed, porn and hateful self pleasure.
Nighty night folks, don't forget to kiss your pets goodnight. Unless it's a fish. Or a big-ass snake, tarantula, iguana or some other pointless, ungrateful critter that's more a status symbol than a friend. Just ignore them because they don't know or give a shit about you.

hmm, either I forgot or it's missing from the version I pirated...(it isn't even broadcasted here...)

and something else random, I just discovered that last night, while I was sleeping, I smashed a mosquito with my foot. saw some blood in the sheet at the foot-end, looked closer and noticed some black too, like a smashed mosquito that was full of blood. I think that's pretty cool, because even awake it can be difficult to catch them, and I apparently smashed an active mosquito while I wasn't even conscieus.

Okay, so we've slept on it..

Okay, we've found a house/property that we just absolutely LOVE beyond belief... however, while the main house is somewhat occupyable, not really what you'd call livable, there are two other buildings, one of which is mostly finished, and would be very useful (and we could sleep there), and the other one is large, just ready to finish on the inside (not a difficult thing), and would make a lovely guesthouse. The land is a quarter acre, fully fenced, private, lovely, on a landing/shelf, nestled into a hillside, with lovely mature & young evergreens, a young madrone, and it just has really good energy.

We've lived through much, much more extensive rebuilding/remodeling than this place would need.

However, we are just past the 50 mark, and wondering if we really want to bite off such a tough chunk.

It has location. Fabulous location. It has privacy. Amazing privacy. The yard has so much potential, and excellent sun exposure, shade, orientation...

But, we know that the first major investment would be a new septic system. The asking price on the place is low enough that factoring in the cost of the septic (about $20k I'm estimating) would still bring the property "price" up almost to market value. We are actually cool with that (and it will probably end up being a bit less than that), but that's really just the start.

It is, though, just the sort of place where we can envision ourselves retiring. Making it just perfect for us.

Our other option, right now, is move into an apartment, get our existing house sold, and keep looking for a place that needs less intervention and "medical treatment"...

It's scary, thinking about taking on such a large project. But the rewards...
