Just got a batch of female stems from the glass works and they screwed up! All are oversized, length wise. So I either have to order new stems and cut them myself or rework these. This is a major problem as these are for the current batch which I am assembling now. Bottom line is shipping may be delayed some. Not sure of how long, takes 3 days to get new stems then I have to cut them. Hang tight I'll be able to ship at least 4 or 5, I had those stems on hand.

Well, doggone it, get started on the next batch of bodies in the meantime, says #24. LOL

Seriously, though, I'm sorry to hear you've run into supply issues. Speaking as a retired manufacturer, I know how frustrating it can be.

Looking on the bright side, I'll bet that your FC customers will be patient. It's nice to be informed, and it's not like you're sitting on our money anyway.

thanks for the support, I didn't want to do pre orders and take money up front. Too crazy, even though people on my end have pushed for that. Not gonna do it, to many things that can go wrong and then I would be behind the eight ball. Also nice to hear I'm not the only "retired" one here. Well retired from working for someone else.
Ordered a new batch of stems so if these can't be reworked I'm only three or four days in the hole. Just hate cutting glass on my machinist lathe, glass powder in the bearings ain't so good.

come on even a week or two don't really matter (for me)!
i bet most of us here can handle any delay in your case ;)
what matters is your custom made product with your personal touch - a few days or even 2-3 weeks is really nothing.

Likey like! :)
Did you preheat before these hits? Or was the unit starting from cold?
Either way, pretty fast cloud production.
My excitement for the Touch is rising steadily!

@mistvaporizer I will gladly pay up front to cover some of your expenses. I don't take it for granted to not have paid for your work yet... But I sure would like to transfer the funds, if it helped.
I find it honorable that you didn't ask for it, but I would feel good to give it to you. I'm a patient nature- take all the time you'd need. Hope the glass parts will be with you soon though.:)

I think you are 100% right!

this will be my first on demand convection portable, I will not be an early adopter but unless price increases crazy way like another on demand wooden device this will be my next one (next year)

I have to give credit to @Alan for my interest in this device, I got really interested in this one while exchanging with him around a new bamboo HI. Thank you

@vapen00b thanks for the offer but I have it covered (I guess I need to make a doctor appt, I'm turning down money! guess @StormyPinkness was right). As far as the timing and delay it really bugs me because I had this planned out for the next three weeks and was suppose to be working on the next batch by now. But @rozroz is right more important to build them correctly and it takes as long as it takes.
I have all the coils mounted in the heater base and adjusted with a little slant. Need to solder up a couple spots on each units circuit board. I have half a dozen stems ready to go, these are the ones I cut myself, so I should be able to ship some units this week.

Will definitely start assembly in the morning.
The original MistVape doesn't really need any button holding
yep the original was unique, just talked to mine using its oil cup attachment. I'm happy. When the dust settles some I post a video of the oil cup cranking on the original MistVape. Got the oil cup attachment for the Touch on the drawing board.

I use my wood lathe for cutting glass and as long as you keep everything wet you shouldn't have a problem with dust, I use EZE laps on 10mm boro tube and it's an easy job. The edges have enough diamond content to cut a 2mm groove which will go rite thru and leave a minimal amount of clean up of any sharp edges again EZE lap sorts this out. I will try out some thicker walled tube and see how it goes, plenty of water and take your time is the key, or has been for me. I use an MT2 ER25 collet chuck, 11mm collet on 10mm tube is good as it takes up any dimensional variance.

@elykpeace so far these have been used by testers
LG HE4 2600mah -
LG HG2 3000mah
samsung-25r-2500mah
SONY VTC-5
I have only used the samsung 25 R but mainly because that is the one I have and it works great.
Welcome @Easywider
I actually hate my Samsung 25r's, they are alright and work but I just feel so much better with my HG2.. In the end I couldn't tell which battery is in if I didn't know.
