I have a bunch of them somewhere. I ordered extra when I got my custom knob. I wish I could afford the lsv and the cloud. So if I still want it then ill sell my ssv and get it. I live the lack of tubing.

Love my LSV!

Anyone have problems with the screen staying in place in the transfer wand? It always flops around as soon as it is turned upside down. I can't seem to get it to stay in place.

There are extra screens taped to the instructions. use one of those.
Perhaps you have "domed" it too much.

I didn't do anything to the screen. It was like that fresh out of the box. I tried to suck up some herb through the wand and got a mouthful due to the screen flipping on its side. The only way I got it to stay in place was putting an extra one in there. Problem solved, thanks Vito!

I am thinking you got one "freak" poorly machined screen!
Glad yopu are "On The Air" now! :)

Hey Vito, do you think the shorty transfer is worth it? I don't really plan on traveling with the LSV, i only really vape at home. I do feel that the regular transfer is rather long though but it works.

I love the long wand... but you are right... it makes me nervous traveling with it, and I always roll it in bubble wrap!
I got the shorty, and love it.
It is a little bit hotter of a hit than the long transfer wand.
I like the size because of confidence.. I feel safe with it in the side pockets.
The long transfer wand, makes me slightly nervous with new vaporists, because like a sword, it is top heavy, and the glass can pull out if one does not move well.
The shorty GonG seems to adhere well, and I dont get nervous that someone may drop it.
If alone the long wand is wonderful.
If with others I feel more comfortable sharing with the short one.

hello people,

in a week or so i will be a lsv owner :D ..

how does the lsv work with hash and concentrates? any tipps from a lsv-pro?

dampfer,

For hash, I use the LSV as such...
I heat the hash up and loosen it up, and I put it with a drop of ABV into the shorty transfer wand and rip.
Very effective
For concentrates I use the water adapter... I also use ABV here, but I pach the ABV tight, and I drip or scrape the goo in the center of the of the WPA and it rips great! ;)

Hey, I was inclined to buy two SSV blemished units (one for my sister) but I have read this thread completely and I'll buy the SSV because it seems to fit better into my needs (the LSV is more portable, has a glass air path and it seems to be more efficient with the herb). I need to ask:

- I have read in this thread about the new design with glass pinches for the screens. The glass pinches were incorporated in what glass piece? in the WPA? in the wand? in the HC? now the pinches come default with the LSV or the piece need to be purchased apart? I need to know because I want to ask to the reseller if they have the new design but I dont know were the glass pinches belong.

- In amazon the LSV is listed with 3 differents prices $204.99, $255.95, $269.967

All three listed LSV corresponding to the same reseller: Vape Usa. Why? what do you think?

Thank you for the information:)

Tritono--
Don't know about them, but I bought mine off of one of the supporting retailers listed on FC, http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=6112

You can get for around $269 with FC code. Great transaction for me, easy to deal with, super fast shipping. Had a problem with missing item and they responded quickly ans sent out item immediately. Highly recommend them and the LSV. Don't know if I agree with your statement about LSV being "portable" though. Both LSV and SSV are tethered by same power cord and come with almost same carrying/ storage bag. Neither is considered a portable. That's what the MFLB is for, lol.
Good luck and good choice(IMHO) of company, on any product you choose from them. My needs are completely met at home with the LSV. Have no needs for any other vape purchases, other than some new glass. The taste, clouds, ease of use, etc., make this my one and only home vape(yes I've owned and tried many others).
Although I will try/buy VXC cloud when released to see how it compares. No other competition for LSV, IMHO. Can't stand plastic hits or whip hits anymore. Yes I am a vape snob.

I should try to remain objective.. but the fact that the same person lists 3 times at 3 prices tells me that there is too much drama in this sellers "circle of life" for me to mess with him.
When talking about precision Vape tool like an LSV ... please don't gamble.
"Gamble" in itself means a chance of losing.
ANY chance of a negative vape experience is worth avoiding.

Thanks for the information. I dont have any vaporizer and I really wish one (Im new into vapes), smoking joints has my lungs and body tired. I looked into amazon because the low price was very good. However, it seems to be that the legal cheap price for the LSV is between $250 - $270. Its very expensive for me but my health is screaming and I want to make an intelligent purchase. I dont consider the LSV more portable than a SSV but I think you can walk around, vape while you are standing up and things like that.

Regarding the glass pinches I have some doubts. I have read in this thread that some users ask for a better screen retention system and LSV improve it. Where they are? in the HC? all new units are coming with the glass pinches? I need to know in order to ask directly to the reseller and get information, I want to buy a new unit with the new improvements and not an older one. Thanks :)

Tritono,
The glass pinches are in the WPA (waterpipe adapter) portion, which acts as the bowl when you are using the LSV with water. Basically the screen sits between the floor of the bowl below and the ice pinches just above. It's really a good solution to the screen shifting about, I applaud the upgrade and wish other vape manufacturers would ape it.

The screen in the HC never causes trouble, although I do wish it were a finer mesh.

Vapornation may be the place to go: http://www.vapornation.com/store/Life-Saber-Vaporizer.html They include a free WPA of your preferred size. The WPA for me really makes the LSV, but I prefer vaping out of water. After their discount it'll be 270, with WPA and whatever cool bonuses they throw in, plus 10% cashback on your next purchase with them.

I bought mine for 205 on amazon. According to 7th floor, all you need is the original receipt of purchase and you are covered.

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right

DrPiff-Did you actually speak to somebody at 7th floor (who?) or get an email to confirm coverage for Amazon sellers? It still says on their website:

"Life Saber Vaporizers purchased from Ebay that are not sold under the 7thFloorSales account are not covered by warranty in any way, shape or form. Also, vaporizers purchased from the following are NOT covered by our warranty. We strongly advise against purchasing the Life Saber Vaporizer from these sellers:

-amazon.com
-overstock.com
-cheapvape.com "

I read the warranty info that came with the vape. I didn't view the website. Well if something should go wrong I'm sure it can be fixed with a fee.

If anybody is so worried about a warranty, buy it from one of the many recommended retailers listed on the forum. CDS and myself just listed 2 places with very good reps around here. Both participate in the forum and seem to genuinely care about their customers. Can't say the same for Amazon, and some of the other unscrupulous vape sellers. Caveat Emptor!!!

Got my LSV in the mail yesterday :D. Only bad thing is I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Oh well, gonna break it in tomorrow. And for all you guys worrying about the warranty, why not get it directly from the creators?

Thanks for the information. Im interested in buy the LSV through a reseller because I dont have $300 to buy from the LSV web. Im looking for $250 max. I'll buy two LSV, pay shipping and expensive taxes in the custom house of Chile. I was looking in Amazon and Ebay but now that I know the details about the warranty I'll buy from a trusted reseller. What do you think of www.puffitup.com ? that webshop offers 15% of discount with a FC coupon. Im looking for the best alternative considering price and customer care.

charliedontsurf: the WPA that vapornation are including with the LSV is the new one with the glass pinches? currently I dont have any glass or bong so I dont know what size choose. :ninja:

I have read this thread completely and I remember that some users were talking about some problems when you put the vaporizer horizontal or something. Leaving out the WPA glass pinches thing, is there an issue with that I have mentioned? do you experience some cons with this vape? is there something that I need to consider?

Any information is welcome.

Thank you, Im closer to be a vapor guy and my lungs are happy about that.
