Leviathan Pipes (inexpensive American Glass)

I'm just saying. Gridded, is going to add mucho cost. When you start adding/changing functional or material usage, they start getting cranky. When Linus (VB) and I were talking about a possible FC bubbler, basically, it was the glass blowers that killed it. They were not receptive to changing even existing design, for a limited run, without adding significant cost. And I never brought up anything as nice as gridded.

Again understandable, and many people might not care about the difference. However to people looking in the price rance of a~200 bubbler might see an irresistible piece. A difference in sales could compensate the profit margin, but that is purely speculative.

I'm not against gridded, at all. Though I suspect their glass blower doesn't do gridded work. Its like the dude for Apix. They get to a point, where they call the shots. Unfortunately there isn't enough quality blowers to, step in and say... I'll do it. Or I should say, there's to many undiscovered guys.

Lev's guy probably doesn't do Dewaar. I haven't seen any work yet, that says he does. I know its a different process and does require some amount of practice. Plus, its a different part. Lot of blowers just order them from others.

Hmm I am curious why nobody assumed I have another gritted bubbler comming out... Oh well as for drag its low. Super easy to clean I havent had an issue. For making this gritted it would shoot the price up on this piece. I am trying to keep this one reasonable. When you see my next baby in about a month then you can drop some fat cash.

Because I've never seen any leviathan/mmtech pieces with gridding. Well I guess the lattice is like a blob of gridding.

I think it looks sweet as is, and who needs gridded with added cost on what already looks like a fine piece? Dying to see a vid of it in action!

2 questions though.... is the showerhead anchored to the base?
Is that a straight wide opening from joint to bottom showerhead for easier cleaning - can I get a brush down in there?

Figure both are yes, but this would make it a no briainer, must have piece.

$180 sound good to me - especially if s&h is $20. That makes the piece $200 to the door (or PO). A nice round figure that no one should take issue with for Lev's fine work. Something I think you should keep in mind. Most aren't so lucky to be so close as BDV, and I always consider shipping costs when buying anything online - especially glass.

The gritted is another piece with another look all together

The showerhead is anchored at the top but has no connection at the bottom for better percolation and cleaning.

I might just do 15 for shipping I never look for a huge profit as long as people like the work and I get by for the month.

Lev, I don't even use water but you are so nice you make me want to get a piece. I love people who do things for love and everyone has a right to make a profit. Some people just take it way to far and have no love for what they do. I always tell my son you don't have to be rich you have to be happy so you may not want to go into a career you might hate just for the money. The money won't be worth anything if you are miserable. People think money buys happiness but it doesn't. It just helps make your unhappy life a little easier.

Damn straight. I have been on top and absolutely broke. Money doesn't buy anything of importance. Most people forget that. I actually got shit from grasscity forums for being a retailer who accepts barters for donations. Some people have issues.

Lol thanks. I am curious tho which bubbler people preferred. There are 3 FC bubbler i believe. I never got around to seeing them all.

I LOVE my FC bubbler. It's by far my best piece. A few friends have seen it... They're kinda new to fancy glass... And were amazed,(and floored). It doesn't come out all the time, just mostly for special occasions. Mainly cuz it's a prized possession and also because 90% of the time I'm just grabbing a few hits and than gone. Anyway, wondering Lev if its at all possible to make a small-ish micro bubbler with some funky type of diffusion. That way I can travel with it and stash it away as needed. Kinda like a mini FC bubbler!

I'm pretty sure I'll be buying the new showerhead (particularly if you offer ANY sort of FC discount). Hopefully I love the new one, just not more than I love my Lattice bubbler
