FP bowl is very shallow and when full up you have to watch for bits falling out when stirring.
Full up is like .5g though!
Regardless, i'll reconsider the Ti when that micro dosing bowl comes out, as well as a new concentrate thing IIRC?

Drama! Bits falling out! That has to be worst than bits falling through?
Im pretty sure it is in fact bits and bobs of herbs Carlos. I experienced the exact same problem with my screens sitting crooked and wonky in the bowl, no matter what I tried to keep it flat and snug to keep particles from falling into the bubbler.
I also expressed my preference for the XL bowl design where the dimples are lower so that the screen sits firmly and snug without any gaps at the edges.
And @Carlos8400 I can certainly understand how you found that to be a nuisance in the deeper bowl Sebastien sent you. The XL bowl is not too deep that it makes it too tricky, but I can tell that if it was just a little deeper, or narrower, it could be very tricky getting the screen in and out of that more tightly fixed posistion.
@Echo , what you want is some of the "Arizer basket screens". They fit upside down into the underneath of the bowl and keep all the herb particles out of your bubbler.
My problems with stuff falling through the screen has been well documented on this thread, Arizer EQ screens are a must for clean glass! @Hogni has the same technique as I do for putting the screen in - wooden spoon handle through he narrow end, my little finger through the other, clips in, easy!
Shame the TI isn't getting the same love as the FP, they are pretty equal vapes. I like using the TI more - easier to stir, and there's no carb cap which makes is much easier to operate. And I know it doesn't matter really, but aesthetically TI is way sexier. There's something very ugly about the FP, whereas the TI looks svelte, modern and minimalist. If I have a lady friend over, I hide the FP but the TI can stay on the coffee table Either way, the hype in the FP thread is fully justified, but I think it applies to the TI as well - truly next level vaping.
Re the controller - I'm happy with it as it is! Mine is left on the floor out of the way. The dial lets me really fine tune the temp. It does feel cheap but it does the job!
@biohacker did you ever actually get to try the TI out? I remember waiting to hear your critique but was sadly disappointed you sold it on!
But you are right. It's a European thing so there are not so much people on FC who can test it. "Made in USA" seems to be a criterium of quality itself for a lot of people here. Why ever.
BTW what's about the new bowls which were announced some weeks ago?
You are dead right Carlos. To be honest I preferred using the Ti with the XL sphere when I had it. And last night at Dave's house we used the Sphere only. I am major OCD about germs due to immune weakness, and I always take my own whip and mouthpiece (next time I'm taking my own bubbler too, plus the kitchen sink!).You could just buy the bowl and the injector/resistance. The Ti uses the same controller and power supply as the XL.
I was actually thinking about getting an XL, just to try the difference.
Good morning/ afternoon. I checked out the price and it would cost me about £200 to get the heater, glass housing, bowl, screens and orings direct from Sebastien, maybe the only place to buy it all seperate like this. Shipping is cheap actually compared to the flat €17/18 rate in the past.Just wait until xmas and boxing sales @Alexis! By then that micro bowl will be out!
The micro-dose bowl will be available in November
Digital Ti will not be available until next year
Best regards
Sebastien
Hi guys,
Happy to find you all here again.
Regarding the screens I stopped using the arizer basket screens, because they got dirty too quickly and because. I still use the original one, even with hashish sessions on it, and even if I have several spares.
I am not a compulsive cleaner, I clean all my setup twice a month or every change of strain.
To limit the fall of particles in my glassware, I use my claisen, which keeps most of the small particles that can be found in the water, I then recover most of this deposit to make butter (but one day, if i find the time).. Problem fixed !!
A dropdown will also do the trick.. And my TI continues to hit as hard (maybe even too much sometimes).
Have a nice autumn y'all !!
@MrMonss Hey, I just picked up the bridge with a carb and was wondering what you would call the drop down bubbler/perc that it sits into? Tried searching DH Gate and a few vape sites and can't find anything like it without any stupid angles for the down pipe bit that connects to the main bubbler.
Hi @Ech0_ !!
Sorry English is not my native language, and i've not all truly understood..
In this picture you have, from top to bottom, the injector TI, the bowl, the claisen (or bridge), the FC MOd (rip off the Vapexhale Devastator). The FC Mod is composed of two water chambers and a removable mouthpiece.
Both are also available separately (you can find different styles of the smaller one, as hash catcher)
You can use a dropdown in the idea of keeping your bubbler clean longer.
Yes we could do with a smiley like those bushy type things that blow across the ground in those desolate old western movies, if you know what I mean.Man, this thread is like the polar opposite of the FlowerPot thread! Will things change when the new microdose bowl is released next month? I have renewed interest in this vape now based on my convection experience with the FP, and having desktop plugins back in my life. I wonder when LCV will have another decent sale @Alexis ? No need for the bubbler kit (although I still miss my sphere from a decade ago!) so just the bowl+injector+controller kit.
Does anyone use the enail adapter for dabs?

Not so much here in Europe
