I shared a couple of tips that I have found to keep my glass parts cleaner a few weks ago, but I take it all back!

The basket screens and cotton get clogged way too quickly and you constantly have to be either cleaning the basket screen or changing out the cotton. It works perfectly fine as an idea, but it's just too much maintenance for me. I do stand behind the idea of using Arizer cyclone bowl screens, because they are just PERFECT for the Herbo TI 18mm bowl. Whenever there is some plant material stuck on the screen I give it a couple of draws on 10 and brush it with the handy dandy brush that came with the Volcano, Crafty etc. and it's clean as a whistle again. Usually I get quite high as well just from those couple of "cleaning" draws

Could not get embedding to work, so here is a macro of the screen fit.

This is exactly why I dont bother with hemp fiber. It clogs up so fast, it filters out the actives (yes I know you can vape it off but its extra hassle and a bit like collecting kief in your grinder- I prefer the kief as I go along), and it gets so messy with abv crumbs.

I have some adapters which Ive stopped using because they need cleaning. But with them I can fit an Arizer basket screen in there to catch particles. This works much better. I have 3, so change them when they are blocking up and ISO soak.

But I do vape off the reclaim from the basket screens, always giving one large, smooth, tasty hit where it milks up then drops off fully.

So Im not surprised to hear you report this. Big thanks for sharing man, keep enjoying your Herbo.

I've been VASing around a new desktop vaporizer. A Supreme V3 is on my way but I was looking for some other desktop flower obliterator.
Herborizer.com now stores a digiTi Herborizer. Is it old news? Why still no pics and nobody else has it? No talk also.
Worth the price at 529€? I've been told the Herborizer bubbler is very nice to use and both the Herborizer Ti and XL are top, nothing short from an Evo and such. So I asked myself which one to get first, Ti, XL or digiTi.
That's where I am stuck at the moment.
    edit:
Seems like a digiTi is on my way too! I'll love its reduced need of heatsoak. The extra will pay for itself if it will not have to be constantly switched on.
Went all the way in and got microdosing bowl and many accessories, can't wait to try the Herborizer bubbler after years of GAS. Didn't get the enail glass as of bad reviews.

Read the thread bro! ;) Try the search feature for DigiTi in this thread or just go back randomly until you see the DigiTi discussion piping up.

Of course we will be happy to try and answer any questions you have but there is already some information for you to clean here first perhaps.

But I would focus on the Ti if I was you. Whether you decide on the analogue or the digital will have to be your own decision and will be easier for you when you have read some more from this thread.

I'm looking forward to get the DIGI TI, albeit it's high price. I'm absolutely satisfied with my XL and i was reserved about getting the TI up to now. But with the release of the Digi TI -and especially with the teaser Pics of @Alexis i can't resist any more :ko: Particularly the Sherlock Style Body/stand, i love it :luv: ....
as measured by the quality of herborizer poducts up to now i have a good feeling that its worth its price. I asked Seb and he said, that he will add the Sherlock to the Store soon. I will wait for that.:brow:

Great to hear. I STILL have not emailed Seb with the news I assaulted my DigiT at 800°C to arrange for a repair. Just been too consumed with life's necessities to deal with it all (cleaning, pack, post) and importantly I want to give Seb some important feedback and stuff, so I need my head clear and positive for the task on the whole.

It will be so cool though to see some more Digis start making their way into the wilderness soon hopefully. Gonna try and make it a priority to send mone back asap now that some other pressing mattera have been dealt with recently.

:rockon: @justcametomind wow you don't fuck about bro, good move nice to see someone just grabbing life, making it happen. No apprehension, uncertainty etc. Just- "Im alive today. Its great. I have enough for the DigiTi. I want it. Hell I'm gonna buy it RIGHT NOW no use waiting in the span of a short sweet life."

So welcome aboard friend. Im excited for you and cant wait for you to get it all setup.
Just one thing you said though, about it paying the extra for itself due to not needing to be kept switched on to save a 10-15 minute heat up- if you mean saving electricity, I really don't think it costs a lot to run it all day. Like pence per day still, surely.

So yes, use it for a decade and maybe you are nearly breaking even lol! That's just off the top of my head though for a laugh really I've no idea how accurate it is.

Good decision on the accessories, I see you have indeed "gleaned" some useful information from the thread. :D And now, your apprenticeship is complete hehe.

The Microbowl was worth getting, and I assume you have seen some discussion on the glass plug vs screen mods which some owners here prefer due to better airflow?

You will be able to try everything out of course.

Good day! No Herborizer for me today, but your proactive life grabbing will motivate me into action sooner now. Just enjoyed a tasty cup of sugar leaf tea from the muslin strained bundle from an edible batch this week. Nice, thick and strong.

Elev8r tonight. Everybody have a nice relaxed evening I do hope. :)

I need more medication in this moment and I've already been trough that.
Having an Evo or else my beloved Volcano switched on an ready all day makes for a yearly expense of 480€, more/less. YMMV from country/company. Yes it's just 1,3 € a day but I try to keep expenses at the lowest.
I know I will have sessions with digiTi, but the more it gets ready fast, the better. That's where I opted out from the XL as well as where i read it works best with 0,3 loads.
I will probably try that out very soon, as soon I realize which injector, bowl or wires I need to buy to operate it. But let's try to stick to the micro or normal Ti bowl for now.
I read something here and in Bud's forum, but I still have to read about screen mods and glass plug. I read someone dig for an arizer screen bowl, but unfortunately IIRC that screen is not sold by itself at vaposhop.
I have tons of screens from multiple vaporizers so I will see.
About the glass plug, I didn't read anything. It was enough seeing a pic from one in use at stickstone's (albeit dirty as hell :D) and I already ordered 2 at dhgate.
I will probably enjoy them next year :(
Thanks for defining me a man of action, lol. :)
It's been years since I stopped buying new desktops. But now VAS hit me hard and in a couple of days I ordered 3 vapes.
It all originated from a craving for a Sublimator. I realized I was investing more than 600€ on vintage market, buying a 5 years old model, if unbeaten. So, for the moment I opted for vapes coming from lively vapey (and not seedy) companies: SV3, Tubo and digiTi.
I will need more thread scrubbing perhaps, but since the digiTis around are so few it may be a new question:
do you think it may be possible to use the digiTi controller to power up a nail? I'd love to be able to run a jcat's SV3 mod trough it and have both my new vapes digitally temp-controlled.
Please @Alexis get a replacement and get on board yourself again! Weed needs to get obliterated! Vapor awaits to be generated tru that controller sitting on your nice table!

Wow I never thought it would be that expensive. For a start, it sure puts butane costs in perspective. I could hammer my Elev8r and Vapcap all day for what, nowhere near even £100 a year.
I trust you have your sums correct, but I was a little surprised.
I just did a quick search, Im but Im completely lost with this technical stuff.
I saw an estimate though that an iron costs about 10 or 20p per hour.

The Ti should be a lot less than that though surely? I know it is 12 V which is less than the Flowerpot. So Im sure there is some sum to do if you could calculate the power at specific temps.

Sorry I cant advise on the DigiTi controller powering the SV3. I would be surprised if it was possible but I hope so.
Don't worry bro, I will get my unti shipped off very soon, just hasn't been possible to get anything done except food, sleep and survival for a long while recently (oh, and vape haha!)

Good choice on your new vapes which makes sense- grab the up and coming now.

I think you can get those arizer cyclone screens from several UK sellers, like Vapefiend and Nemaste. Looking forward to your new arrivals bro.

@justcametomind hey again. (Mods Im real sorry I wanted to follow this back up and if I edit my post my good friend here will not get an alert.)

So I did a little kwh calculation for the DigiTi here:
    https://www.rapidtables.com/calc/electric/watt-to-kwh-calculator.html
    72 w for 12 hours I got 0.864 kWh.

In UK x average kWh of 14.37 p = just over 12 pence to power for 12 hours.

Im not sure how correct this is though. Maybe one of the other smart members here (as in "other" to yourself, I dont mean me of course) will have an idea about this?

I really am struggling to believe it would cost hundreds of £/€/$ a year to run a desktop for 12 hours a day.
How did you actually calculate this? Do you have a smart meter?
By my math, we would be looking at about £45 per year, 12 hours per day. Which is more in line with what I would expect.
I mean, some people have several desktops plugged in all evening, I can't believe they are spending over €/£/$1000 a year?

I hope not anyway. I wont be getting a smart meter to find out but it would be nice to have a better idea of this because I really hope your estimate is somehow way off?:)

We live in a different country, my pre desktop bill was 40€, after having an Evo or Cano constantly on, was 80€.
US and UK bill are alot lighter than EU bills.

See that there is confirmation that the DigiTi uses 12v / 72w. Really wish they made it xlr standard.

You have take the fact that you are not running full blast all the time in to account as well. I run the analog at 5 and I think that comes to a 50% reduction in cost, if the dial is linear. Of course, the analog being 36 watts it would come down to half of that, being 18 watts.

I used to own an arizer Q extreme and I ran that through a power meter and it was around 17 watts idle. I would assume there's not much of a difference between heater materials when it comes to power draw.

Take all the above with a pinch of salt, because it's mostly assumptions.

The vid helped me to get a different perspective, literally, from the only few digiTi's pics I've ever seen, Alexis' one on his table. :)
Seemed to me the controller was almost as big as a PS3, now I realized it isn't, it fits Bud's hand, lol.

Did you guys or Seb already talk about a digiXL? Could it be done? I'd love another toy to play with the controller.
Or else if I want to try the XL I realized via Bud's live that I'd need an analog set and I'd only save the glass from the digi setup.
I loved the thrill when he realizes he might be on celsius and maybe bricking the second vape in a row. "What do I do guys?", while looking at the live chat. :D
I will carefully read my stuff ._.

What you maybe aren't aware of- he had already tested the DigiTi out weeks ago but he tried to force the silicone handle onto the heater in the wrong way and got it stuck and dislodged a wire and he had to send it back to France for inspection and repair.

This live stream was the first time he has opened it to test it out again since and he was rather surprised with the extras. But a good move by Seb I think to give him an analogue and XL model to also review.

Yes I was present when he was warming the DigiTi up and I was a little concerned that he was just 100% assuming it was still on Fahrenheit like the previous time he received it and used it where as mine was sent to me on 350 degrees Celsius.

Bud was not even aware that the controller could display Celsius so this is definitely something I need to mention to Sebastien and for new users to double check when they first receive it.

Fortunately no damage is done but it was already the second casualty, back from the sick bay.
And tbh, it was Seb's silly fault for sending the silicone sheathe NOT on the heater already.

For the pro vape reviewer he is, Bud can be remarkably slapdash, absent minded and clumsy going about testing new vapes. He runs around in circles and spills, eventually bit by bit "OOHHHH! So that's what this is for" (imagine NewYork accent lol.)

It has been quite an anxious time for me watching him testing the DigiTi so far. The whole time he has been missing this, missing that. Im busting my balls trying to get his attention:
"Glass plug, glass plug" "other controller" "make sure it's not on Celsius", "check box for glass stand" and plenty more.

And he already broke the glass Herborizer bubbler that came with it after just one usage!
I wouldn't hold out for an XL Ti, but not sure what you mean by this except a bigger, deeper bowl?
In which case yes that has already been done one member in this thread commissioned such a thing and there are photos of it I'm sure Seb could hook you up there.
Can't wait until you have yours now.

I still have to read the whole thread, but I read the last 10 pages, I did some homework ;) I know that I have to break the “breakage combo” for the pride of the whole FC board.

Seems like I’m the third known guy to get this thing.

Both you and none less than the most seasoned vaper of YouTube, have broken your units one way or another. I hove to last!

    I don’t mean a TiXL but a digiXL.

Digital reading on the XL other than on the Ti probe.

Bud can attach both a Ti and an XL to the analog controller. I’d love to be able to attach different beasts to the Herborizer controller as well. Not just the one I’m waiting for.

Okay I misunderstood thanks for clarifying. Yep I get you now. But tbh, I have the XL, and will get my Digi mended. But absolutely no part of me has even the slightest urge to have the ability to hook my XL up to the Digital controller.

Just not needed or worth it. The Ti is where it is at IMO. The XL is still a top vape, just a much slower, gentler extractor. It doesnt excite me like the Ti. And it doesnt need the digital temps anyway, you can get replicable results with the XL more easily. Temps go up by less degrees per dial number, and temp doesnt vary as much during use.

So I would not bother keeping hold of that wish anyway, you wont be missing anything. Just stick with the Ti and you will be happy. Zero chance Seb will ever even think about making a DigiXL. No way. I wouldnt be surprised if the DigiTi is his last ever vape release, I know this roll out has been a lot more demanding and time consuming than he anticipated.

Does cross changing of the controllers really work? I'm in doubt. The analog controller is working at half the wattage than the Digi one. So you can use the analog controller with the new Digi Ti heater at half the power. Guess the up-temping of the Ti just needs more time but reverse? Fear the XL could be damaged when paired with the Digi controller at twice the power as constructed? But who knows I'm no electrician.
But @Alexis I don't believe you are right with your statement Bud also got an analog controller for his Digi Ti in addition. It was the controller only for the XL. He got 2 complete kits, one Digi Ti and one Xl one. At least it seems so to me.

But I totally agree with you regarding the unboxing and Bud's try and error. It looked very unprepared, negligently and irritating for potential customers who were watching. Neither does this justice to a new device if not proper assembled/ used nor give it the right impression to new customers - and of Seb and his products in this case - if it doesn't work right. Nevertheless I like Bud and his work. But this review was pretty chaotically and lovelessly.
BTW at what temp do you use the Ti? 725 F looked much too high IMO. But I'm only experienced with the analog Ti.

Hey bro. Okay a few misinderstandings to adress. No the DigiTi will ONLY work with the DigiTi controller.
Not the analogue, or the XL. They both run off the analogue controller.
It took Bud some time to figure that out himself, hence you not following 100%. So I hope that is clearer.
And yes I like Bud as well. I think he gets a bit of rap, but essentially is a nice, honest guy. Hes extremely generous, in terms of donating/giving stuff away, but more so with advice and time for everybody. He always sends out only good vibes and sees over a friendly peaceful environment.

But yes I wish he would take a bit more care with these unboxings. Get straight on things first. Be less clumsy. Or at the least, keep a closer eye on the chat while he figures things out.

I am always trying to get his attention to set him straight because I can see he is in a muddle over something, but he perseveres to be confused for ages then finally sees the chat.

Then 2 mins later the same thing happens lol. So a little frustrating.
Btw Hogni, this wasn't the actual final, official review yet. Bud's intention was to do all the filming shots there and edit clips to do the review from, which he will voice over.

Actually, I'm quite relieved that his DigiTi had to be sent back before. He loosened the wire by trying to force the silicone sheath over the heater handle without really being sure how to do it or from which direction and it got stuck and was only half on.

It looked a bit stupid hanging half off of the handle but he left it that way and was going to do the official review with it like that which I didn't think was very good.

And on that same occasion he had already broken the bubbler cleaning it for the review.
So I don't think it would have been fair on Sebastien to take the shots for the official review after having broken the bubbler but also with the silicone sheath not properly installed.

So I think it was a good thing really and now he has the analogue and XL to review as well which will be better for Sebastien in the short and the long run and would not have happened otherwise.

Oh yes, 725 prob is a bit hot. Last time he was getting very good performance on about 670 I believe I tried to remind him of this but he missed my comments.
Mine arrived on 350 C. That works superbly, you really don't need to go higher and you can actually go down to 300 or below and still get very good vapor and extraction. There is a surprisingly large range of temperature where you can enjoy very smooth and large hits without losing out on taste.

Not so much about the HerboTi or DigiTi, but @Alexis post made me think about herborizer glass.

I wasn’t impressed with Sebastien’s glass at all, it might not have been Bud’s fault his bubbler broke and rather the fault of Sebastien. I got his Bubbler XL from verdampftnochmal last spring because they still had it in stock. I was really excited until it arrived but a quick inspection showed lots of little bubbles and micro scratches on the base and throughout the piece. The glass around the mp joint was wonky and uneven, with these weird folds; in fact it was easy to see that the walls were uneven throughout. They rippled.

It became unpleasant to use because all I could see were these glaring faults, plus the knowledge that I paid good money for it. Counterproductive, lol! It’s not that it’s expensive, it’s not. It just wasn’t good value for money. This stuff might not matter to others, it still worked, but this amount of imperfection was impossible for me to ignore. I have seen lots of dhGlass much cleaner, I expected at least decent quality for ~$150. All glass can break but poorly-made glass is just waiting to break.

I didn’t blame the people at verdampftnochmal at all, it’s all boxed up from Herborizer and just sitting on their shelf. But I do blame Sebastien for passing along his substandard work and apparently having no quality control over what leaves his shop. I never considered contacting him about it because what’s he going to say when I bought it elsewhere (since he decided not to make them in the larger size)? I just considered it a lesson learned and when it took a tiny bump and literally exploded, that’s when I knew it wasn’t made properly. I was actually relieved it broke, because it was so shitty. Didn’t feel sad at all.

I’m not saying that all his work is shit, just the one piece I got sold certainly was. Sorry if it’s considered OT, or if it seems I’m bagging on Sebastien unfairly, but it’s always bugged me & when I read about Bud’s Busted Bubbler, it felt like this needed to come out. I’m not trying to piss off all the Herbo fans or cause a ruckus, it was just my experience and I’m now over it.

I actually think that if you had contacted Sebastien and just been completely honest and told him that you are unhappy with it I reckon he would have said send it back to him and he will refund you for it fully or send you another piece which he would personally inspect and make sure you were happy with.

I'm very confident about this I would put money on it. Of course you may feel that way too much time has passed for that to be an option now. But I strongly believe that he would have volunteered this gesture.
Just wanted to mention that anyway I'm sorry the piace did not live up to your expectations the smaller bubbler which came with my package appears to be perfect, but Im not particularly observant or even that concerned with the aesthetics of anything really in life, and I have focus difficulties.
