Helfrich started as our offensive coordinator in 2009, but what you probably don't know is his local history.
Helfrich was raised about two hours from Eugene in Coos Bay, Oregon. As a child he would toss the football in Autzen Stadium after games, dreaming of someday playing for the Ducks. While playing quarterback at Marshfield High School, he was recruited by Rich Brooks and Mike Bellotti to walk on at Oregon. Both his father and uncle played football for the Ducks and his brother and mother went to school at Oregon as well. The first Oregon native to become head coach of the Ducks since 1942,[27] Helfrich describes coaching at the University of Oregon as being the pinnacle of his career.[28]

WTF is this shit?

I am an artist. You just cant go & grab the Mona Lisa and stick her in the basement of a dingy strip club.
Sure its still art, but the only people that are going to see it are perverted hobo's.
Very similar crowd here TBH.

I cant fucking work under these conditions. I give my heart and soul in response to some russian hottie trying to muscle in on my stuff.
I produce a work of art as a retort, to what I might add was a quality soft porn production. thankyou darling, I enjoyed it immensely.

and then some bugger just ups and plonks it in some loony bin thats frequented only by sick people & perverts.
How am I supposed to light up the world with my art from here?

Oh and I know whose responsible.

Cuz it looks like samsquanch & smells like fucking turtle!

Funny thing, summers coming here and I decided to shave my pets.
So, I grabbed some clippers & this guy.

Ima artist, and apparently I get some sort of license to do this sort of thing.
I dont have it yet, but it must be in the mail.
I didnt even have to take a test or anything.

Saturday has been a busy day... good one, though.

My daughter. My oldest child, has finally, FINALLY, filed divorce papers (2nd abusive spouse), and has a court date, and sounds like she really means it this time. Eighth time's a charm? Yeah, anyway...

So, she came by this morning, saw our new place, lounged around with us with coffee, then we went out to lunch. Three hours later, we finally paid our bill and left, and wandered around the mall, bought NOTHING, then did our required shopping for the weekend.

Home now... slightly oiled, plus hubby just loaded up Dutch Treat in the bubbler.

Oh, and we also got our "find the urine" LED flashlight (blacklight), the special urine cleanup stuff, and more of the cat attracting litter stuff. After a careful survey of the (dark) apartment, we only found one spot where I'd missed cleaning it up, plus a couple on a piece of cat furniture - not on the carpet. Yay! She had marked the carpet two days in a row in the same general spot this past week, but we'd cleaned that up really well.

I give "cat attract" kitty litter a B, maybe a B+. Sure, it may work, but it is not the absolute answer, regardless of what their website & packaging says. It can help get a cat used to using a litter box, but if that cat is stressed, all bets are off.

Yep, I'm medicated. I tend to over explain. Like now, explaining why I'm explaining. :mental:

I'm also having a good Saturday night. Been in the dumps for a while because one of our cats died (I posted that here), and then 2 days later I found out a friend passed away too. I'm really trying hard to lift myself out of this funk. It was a beautiful day, and I got to enjoy a lot of it outside. That helped me feel better.

Also got a new Vapor Brothers Dabbler pen and some wax. I love both very, very much. :leaf:

So glad to hear you are starting to feel better Vicki!!! Each day will bring a little more healing.

Also glad to hear you got a pen. They are great aren't they? I don't have the Vapor Bros. version, but love my Dr. Dabber. It's in my daily rotation.

Thanks, mom. :)

This pen is great, and I'm really impressed with the battery life too. This will definitely be in my daily rotation too.

I'm so sorry Vicki about your loss. I know all too well how much it hurts when our furry little soul mates pass. To me they are EVERYTHING...I live, eat, sleep and breathe for my animals, probably to obsession. No, not probably - Definitely! Please feel better!!!

Lol... I'm the same way. My husband says he wants to come back as one of my dogs.... :p

Yeah, that's how I am with all our furbabies. As far as I am concerned, they are all just little (or not so little) furry children. All our dogs are over 50 pounds, and our largest is 85 pounds.

I hope everyone is doing well this Sunday morning, or at least hanging in there.

@pakalolo Thats a pretty kitty . . . :luv:

@Vicki & @Snappo Our babies are the best and it is tough to be the good shepherd when its time for them to go home. Alex is in stage 2 renal failure so we are giving him subcutaneous fluids at night, among other things, but its a managed decline and I am afraid the lab results show the end is getting closer, so every day is precious now with Alex, and he says: "Good morning FC!" :)

I'm so sorry, tdub. :(

We have more than one furbaby that is considered "elderly." Two cats that are 16, and an 11 and 9 year old dog. The rest are all younger. We have already seen signs that the seniors health are deteriorating, and we are handing the changes, and managing their health problems. We will continue to treat them until they tell us they are ready to go to The Rainbow Bridge. Knowing they have problems, and that their time is short, will never prepare us for their passing.

I'm so glad you are helping your baby manage his symptoms, t-dub. I will keep your baby in my prayers too.
