Hey, it is never worth taking any risk just to post pics for us. If your location makes you concerned for yourself posting, don't, this is just for fun.

That being said, while I live in a medical only state, it is decriminalized here and I doubt "the man" cares enough about my use to patrol the web or go out of his way to bust me. But that is my evaluation, you must make your own.

Then again, all we need to do is look at what @Vitolo went through to see what a god damn son of a bitch "the man" can be. YMMV

@Dustydurban yes I know.

The good thing is that the old guard is Turning daisies, and the new is slowly turning
pro-active concerning the medical benefits of cannabis, and slowly changing the draconian
laws against marijuana use.

Some states are dragging their butts, but eventually they too will come around.

A smile for the crowd.

@stark1,
Having lived all my life in prohibition,
I have mixed emotions about show & tell
I love seeing all the "porn" on FC
However,
The words "anything you say or do" keeps ringing in my ear
Paranoid I am not. Perhaps overly cautious is the term to use

I can feel you.
But I always keep the hope that it's just a matter of time ,
when people who do not use cannabis will begin to use their brains more efficiently,
than people who actually use cannabis.
We are not criminals. We are the poor & defenceless victims of stupidity.
Yes,stupidity. The only one guilty ,behind most, if not all ,crime.

Time for a VapCap .

cheers.

I'm just not convinced that the difference between gen4 and 5 is enough to throw another $40 at another tip.

I've said more than once how I liked the 7 finned models more because of better heat dissipation but the biggest difference I found between different generations tips is that the flavor is noticeably (at least for me) better with the deeper grooves.

Being “Kind” is no crime, only in the minds of politicians and capitalists.

I have been tokkin since a child. I am younger than that now, as someone once said.

I don't know shit about fins, but I know I dig the shit out of my Omnivap.

To me, as different as they are, Dynavap and the Milaana have some common traits-most of the experience is dependent on the user. You've got to pay attention, you've got to develop technique. At some level to use these kinds of devices you have to care at a deeper level than when you just pour a load into a plastic box and hit a couple of buttons; not that there's anything wrong with that. It's like driving a stick shift vs. driving an automatic. I've driven a stick shift for the past 30 years. So....

I've mostly been experimenting with lighter technique. I first started with a triple torch and I like it, it's easy to evenly heat the entire cap without moving the lighter. Today I've been experimenting with a single flame torch and enjoying what I can do with that trying a 3 pull session three ways: tip first, middle second, and digger-outer end of cap last. That was okay but got too close to combustion and the third hit was always a little charred tasting. The second hit was the best. Tried it middle all three times and that was okay. Three good pulls but not any one great hit. And my favorite is to start nearer the digger outer then middle/tip, and then dead in the middle with a bit of side to side with the lighter to get most of the cap. The first pull is insane, the second is almost as good and the third one is a bit wispy but still tastes good. And I never get close to combustion.

And with the material I have right now I'm getting 3+ hours out of two of the bowls on the Ti tip's smallest load setting.

This made me laugh so hard!

^This! No reason there needs to be a best. I never thought a debate was occurring. I can believe that some with multigenerational tip knowledge think there are detectable differences AND others, with the same level experience, who say it's minimal if at all. I personally don't expect it'll be so different, but I am tickled to have the opportunity to own one. The thing I am SUPER excited about is the part where George said it will be similar to the 4th gen, but will be tweaked to reflect what they have learned since. It will really be its own thing; something done for the fans sure, but worthy of a marker on the VapCap timeline? Yes, for me.

I got a @phattpiggie stem headed south my way sometime in the new year and I think such a special stem would be best set-off with a 4.5 Special Edition 7-fin? I went for the Bocote StashXL rather than getting an extra tip & cap for it during the BF Madness, so yay for my indulgence!

@stark1 & @sag You guys have the right attitude! Let's enjoy all of them!
@mucsusn That, my good sir, is a metric shit-tonne of tips! :D Do they all have bodies and so forth? And when did you discover VCs and decide to collect them? Anybody else strutting around with that many VCs & accompanying tips, do tell? I wanna say @Squiby has got 2 or 3, doesn't she? IIRC, pictures of some of the larger collections have been posted in this megathread but I think they should have a place within the Best-Of. Think of it as a hall of fame, a collectors gallery, or the freak show tent

@stark1 what is "associated VH"? I'm kinda slow right now...

@pxl_jockey "associated VH"? ~ VapCap Heater :ninja:

Yes ,there is a small difference in speed between 7 fin and 5 fin tips.
But very-very slight.Just 20% .;)

And yes to some-including myself-the 7 fin is more aesthetically appealing ,
than the 5 fin tip....

But ...
The 5 fin tip is the ideal tip, when it comes to anodising !
The larger space between fins allow for the color to show better !

Cheers.

@Taazokaan Loved your post. Sorry, I didn't see it straight away. :freak: Dude, your English is so much better than my French. Seriously. One year of French, over 35 yrs ago = rubbish, lol! Whenever I'm in France, I pity the poor souls who must interact with me. But I love France, people are so kind and cool w/me. Your pic was killer, your Stash is very nice, is that Bocote or Cocobolo? Either way, WOW! Do you plan to hold onto the Omni for a while? I love mine,

There aren't so very many UK members here, at least those who have stepped out of the shadows. The way you can write you should definitely post more around here. This thread in particular flows so fast and well, IMO, because we have members from all over the world sharing and contributing. FC needs you bro!

I often see new posters in various threads apologising for their English, and someone will tell them not to worry because vaporists kinda have our own language and find a way to communicate. As a native English speaker transplanted into another English-speaking country, my English can really suck sometimes! :D

I think it's cool you are always planting seeds that may bear fruit someday. I try to fly under the radar in my village but whenever I'm in a proper brick & mortar headshop I ask if they have any vapes. Usually they will have some cheaper crappy vapes and maybe a Volcano. So I talk VapCaps, explaining what they are and how they work. Give them the DV website and show them the future that they don't know is already here. I'm sure some think I'm a nutter, but I like to think I'm planting seeds too. They'll catch on soon enough, eh? Anyway, thanks for telling your story and using your keyboard for a change. PEACE!

@CuckFumbustion very cool! I'm digging that green, and more space than I thought.

Speaking of pretty colours @stardustsailor WTF?! You are so the mad scientist! :science: Your enthusiasm and energy is contagious my friend! I know you'll find other things to do with the bits from George's package. I can hardly wait until I can have a bit of carbless art from high atop a Greek mountain... :brow:

Goodnight and Good Luck from my little patch in the English countryside, my VapCap friends!

Hey George, you have the best sales team in the world right here...

I'm one of them now too. Everyone who sees my black friday omni xl says how beautiful it is. I really need to keep an m with me to better demonstrate their use to interested folks and demonstrate that the entry level model works great despite the lower price.

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
@CuckFumbustion very cool! I'm digging that green, and more space than I thought.
Yea, a fairly lightweight compact GREEN that I can store a spare 'M' in the fill chamber or 2 tips as an option. Just need something else in their extra, if I want less rattle noise. So yes, this stash checks all my boxes for being functional.

Oh, I just taught myself a trick a second ago. :science:I re-positioned the condenser ring near the mouthpiece to protrude out just enough to allow it to bounce around with a little less rattle noise. Now imagine a super wide ring taking out even less rattle.

Another thing I like about the 3d printed stash. The cooling magnet on the side and a closing magnet setup that doubles for holding the cap while filling the 'M' dugout style. I like all the options in a tiny package. and a large LANYARD hole. This thing is going off the grid and miles away from my desktops.

Not sure of the size of the fill chamber of the XL printed version is. If someone were to get that for themselves.

Say, @pxl_jockey what are you using to carry your VC's in?

I went to my brick and mortar headshops looking for VC bodies and let them help me find something that fits. Always explaining that this tiny guy is a vaporizer. Some get it and I plant a seed that way.

Not at all surprised you are spreading the gospel. They shops might want to take a look at the wholesale page for Dynavap and say have a bulk of 'M's on one of those pen dispensers sitting on the counter. Dare to dream. :peace:
