how to check if something is 100% glass?
I received 18mm-14mm female-male adapter from ebay and it's really light. it looks like plastic. I tried to torch it abit with lighter and didn't notice any melting only black stuff from the flame that I wiped with paper towel.

Been searching DHgate for a good Quartz Banger. Came across a nice looking one that resembles the Daisy Quartz from DABFARM. Has anyone ever bought one of these? Let me know what you guys think. Hey guys, I've been searching for a small-ish thick-glassed clear straight bong for awhile and I'm wondering if anyone can chip in any suggestions. Only requirements are it be ~12" and have an 18mm joint. Clear preferred. My existing equipment is 18mm and I don't want to deal with adapters.

This is the only one I've found that fits the bill. Also wondering if anyone can vouch for the seller. Thanks very much in advance!

The female joint on that tube is 18mm, but the downstem is 14/18, so I don't think that's going to be compatible with your accessories.

It does seem a bit pricey compared to others, I just thought it was the only 18mm one I could find. If I have to settle for a 14mm I'll probably go with this one from Alina.

You can get any of those and just replace the downstem for $5 with a 18/18 downstem. You could really upgrade the piece going with a showerhead or OGB flame polished 12 hole perc.

The diamond knot looks cool but it would be harder to clean and take longer to torch I bet. stick with a tried and true banger IMO. I don't know. I have been using an enail and a Liger with sapphire and Sic inserts so going back to to a torch banger sounds like the stone age. But that being said I am about to pick one of these up for a buddy, I think I will go with the Hyman Grail and cap.

Pretty sure someone on reddit bought one of those diamond knot copies and said that the centre is sealed and there's no dish under the "knots" area which is basically the reverse of how it's supposed to be. I think you could probably find an actual copy of the daisy quartz, but IMO you're better off with a banger or the grail you linked. The one drawback to the second nail you linked is that it can be kind of hard to q-tip it clean around the edges of the nail. The one above should be pretty easy to q-tip clean.

That seller has some interesting stuff, I may order some of these for my torch friends but soon I will have them all converted to enails and Ligers hopefully anyway.

A few months ago I bought a bong with a stereo matrix perc & ice-catcher on DHgate for $37 and a matrix ice-catcher to go with it for $20.. Spent $57 in total and I decided I wasn't a fan at all, especially when I drastically cut my smoking rate vs vaping. Here's a pic if anyone's interested:

So I sold the bong and ashcatcher for $60 on Craigslist. I pretty much got to try out the bong and decided I didn't like it, and then sold it 4 months later for a couple of more bucks than what I paid for it. :D I probably could've gotten more for it but I wanted to get rid of it quickly, and I don't think too many people shop for bongs on craigslist... I looked at a few listings and many of the bongs were dirty as fuck and people were easily asking at least $90-$150... "Dirty but cleanable" omfg..

Anyways, with my refund money, I will be buying a FC-710 on sale for $37 and a XXL quartz dish from hymanquartz for $14 to pair with my current FC-187 to take big dabs .. Feels like I made a great trade :D

Check out CleanClearGlass they have some really good incyclers and I've purchased 3 different rigs from them and never a problem. If you let them know ahead of time they can have it with no logo too.

I was just checking out cleanclearglass they have a lot of new USA color rigs that look pretty cool. I came across this but imo they ruin it with the green joint and amber colored foot. I would of probably scooped it up but those 2 things kill it!

Credit where it's due - a little happy-outcome story.
I ordered a piece from CleanClearGlass and was sent the wrong item - this one:

It arrived this morning, complete, intact and water-tested by the look of it.
And delivery was super fast. It was dispatched on the evening of 7th so that's five days. It arrived in the UK on the 9th so it would have been four but yesterday was a Sunday.

Nice little oil rig that I believe will be able to pair with my Cloud Evo.

I am pretty picky when it comes to pieces and prices. I like the small diameter bent neck, not much diffusion and overall design looks interesting.

Only six inches tall- Just came out on TAG- looks like a promo piece -
Only $30.00, picked up a quartz oil bucket & cap too. If the cloud doesn't fit I won't feel too bad about it.
I am really digging this piece, it kind of fits what I've always pictured having as a nice piece.
