    I wasn't implying anything.

Just that as the law stands (as you know) more than 9 plants and you have a farm. That includes cuttings, mothers etc.

I'm sure you've posted here that you grow more than that so if your door does get caved in you'll be treated hashly. Not as a personal grower as you think.

You're correct about your concerns but since you mention it I was also worried for the fire risk as I never trusted all the shitty electronics components used in pretty much all the hydro equipment you get over here and unfortunately in 'todays' Britain you're more likely to have your door caved in by armed drug dealers than the fuzz.

It's cool wasn't implying your implying...

I only ever grow 2-4 plants, no cuttings or mothers.....

I get 8-12 Oz every 4 months, that will do me till the laws change and I can upscale.... but I would never risk that now. Like I said, family will always come first....

I'm a pretty competent with electricity, I am a builder/carpenter... again I wouldnt risk my children, my works is good enough for building control so I'm confident there will be no fireballs...

And I'm so off the radar, no drug dealers will be on the way to me....

@philmein I'm dissapointed I didn't do this 15 years ago, it's criminal the price of low quality cannabis....

And all the money I save, allows me to provide a better life for my family....

    And that's a real bonus.....

Very good! I used to get stuff in sealed bags they would be ideal for that machine.
No doubt there are some purists who would be sick to see MJ bags falling from that height in the machine, but we could always reclaim any lost stickiness using vaporist's methods!

Not sure how the machine will know if your of a suitable age for purchasing such a product....

Like when I was a kid and could get anyone to buy me cigarettes, I'd just go to a vending machine in a pub....

The one in the video looks to be in a supervised adult area alright. They could work it like that.
I'd also have this instinct like "oh and we probably shouldn't allow kids to see this when getting off the plane"
And then I think "but maybe it's ok for them to think that they do it in Bob Marley land"!
But it just goes to show how considerate the mj crowd (or everyone) now are, whereas we were BOMBARDED by our elders' alcohol and cigarette abuse in similar situations when young, either the alcohol made people not care about kids, or nobody knew any better about health and drugs etc!

So then I think, why was I so worried about kids seeing mj stuff if it's only half as harmful as the shit we were BOMBARDED with at that age!
But yeah, we're just sooo considerate! It's nice.

    This is worrying me lately....

Is this what I have to worry about my kids getting hold of when they get older...

Is this gonna take off on UK streets, I know it's about in prisons, but don't think it's common on the streets yet...

Is it cheaper than real cannabis???

    Is it better somehow???

I just don't understand it's appeal, why not take the safe option and get high using natural cannabis???

All I can say is know your sources. This is what happens when cannabis is illegal or has redicuoulse laws attached to it. I've never come across this in the area where I live. I always bought my product in the black market from a trusted friend. Always the same guy or a relative.

The UK's neighbor Italy will now decide on Monday about the 15 grams / 5 plant recreational legislation!
    http://volteface.me/italy-cannabis-legalisation-bill/
Some sources say they may legalize on the Monday.

Also, your other neighbor, Ireland, has yesterday seen a private members bill to work towards medicinal cannabis.
I believe the motion may be debated after recess in September.
It mentioned Epilepsy, MS and Cancer but I hope it will also apply to THC/whole plant for all chronic pain, PTSD and whoever else may need/want it!

I know UK is out of Euro now, but I still strongly believe that if your neighbors (or any country in the world) change at all it has a big effect all round.
And at the very least you might be able to holiday/vape there!
Plus I don't see a thread for EU news!

And here's a UK medical news one for ya!
But it's a subscription-only newspage from the Times,
You get the idea from the opening lines though..
    http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/hero-s-call-to-decriminalise-cannabis-dcbtr997g

I look forward to Mondays results from Italy! If there are any.

    Good post @blackstone thank you....

First of all, that poor soldier, bad enough not having legs, but having no skin on your arse too, give that man an unlimited supply of cannabis.... I would if I knew him....

As for the Italy thing, I'm sure it will go through, Europe is getting there, and like you say, the more neighbours that decriminalise and legalise, the more likely it is the UK will follow....

I think if a general election is called in the UK, which is very possible, and we change government, things may start happening sooner than expected.....

Cause as our conservative government says, 'we have no plans to legalise this harmful and deadly substance'

I'd be more than happy with just legally being able to grow 5 plants....

I get more than I need from 2 or 3 plants, if I could legally do more, maybe I can start donating the excess to fellow UK fc'ers.....

@kellya86 The only way to control drugs is to be in control of the situation. An illegal market means more and more dangerous 'legal' synthetics will keep being produced and people will be using MJ that's been adulterated with what ever was at hand.
I always said if my little one wants to try MJ she can but it will be me she gets it from that way I know she is safe.

I'm not sure the EU moves will be followed here now we've left. As much as I hate the idea of it the sooner the muppets in government see the earnings potential the better.

I also think if enough UK MMJ users got together and demanded the right to 'self medicate' with the drug of their choice it may help. Especially if they've been sent into illegal wars and suffered because of it.

The most alarming thing I ever heard a Veteran say was on a mj youtube video.
He said, "The government that trained me to kill other humans, they are the same people who will not allow me grow a plant that helps to heal me" !!!!
That really hit a note with me, in how wrong a system or a single law can sometimes be.

I also think Italy will go ahead, it looks to be half the judicial system that requested it!

It used to baffle me how the UK have not tried many other ways yet, or how they reversed declassification, as it's such an established pastime there for so long. But it's comforting to see there are areas where they don't care much for small fish.
And I think they will eventually head the same the direction as all their allies soon! With only Russia and China remaining staunchly opposed lol!

i think you should be worried.....
i'm surprised to learn this K2 stuff is new to you,i live in NZ(were we are a tad backward...) and we have had this around for the last 10 years(legal in legal high shops in nz,((a thing thank fuck of the past)).
now the interesting thing is that the guy responsible for this is the minister of health in nz (he still is actually ) and his son was a loser chemical student, whom dropped out and started with straw man synethic cannabis, =K2....... go figure this one out.that's how daft we are in nz....
anyway ,since the police in nz find it a lot easier to crack down on cannabis, than the real problem we have in this country called P.since you can smell weed but can't P. since growing it is easier and safer than uprooting a P lab. etc.etc.etc.(the police are called pigs for a REAL reason in this country)
we have low cannabis available and that gave the K2 a real chance to take off here..(well done pig's!our mental health system thanks you for ever...NOT!...)(thank fuck it's now in our past.)
We got many headlines for 5 years involving K2 and real crazy bad shit happening around peoples lives.
Than the coin dropped; the legal high shops (mazes in the law finding with chemicals basically)
we phased out and the mental health problems tickeled down to normal......
IT WILL MAKE YOU A ZOMBIE, IT WILL EAT YOUR ORGANS,IT WILL MELT YOUR BRAIN.
The bad from it is also found in the fact that it is cheap and easy to produce, so anywhere the real HERB is restricted this has a chance of taking off. and it will take people a few years to get aware of it and the problem it creates.
my sincere hope's for your kids our with me.
p.s. i had reasonable parents, what they advised me of i followed, till i could think on my own, ...(20?.....)
i have a feeling after reading your post's(which i follow)you ,are more than able to show your children the proper(is natural)path.
ALL the best and i really don't want to see this take hold in the UK.. please....

Good post and thanks for the info, I had no idea it was so common anywhere, let alone your country....

I am now after your post.....

But not so much about my children, they will be well educated in life....
And if they choose to partake as part of a balanced lifestyle, they will have access to organic, safe, high quality herbal material....

But it's all the other children I worry about....

And prohibition certainly will not help this situation....

Education is what's needed, and acceptance of real cannabis.....

Edit:- also it's nice to know people look at this thread, I'm unsure sometimes as to whether it's worth it....I wish we in the uk, had the passion of the Americans when It comes to cannabis news and activism.....

I certainly check this thread, but your comment above is exactly why I personally would have preferred to have kept everything together in the 'Cannabis News' thread started by @vtac, way back in the beginning.

It was for everyone to be involved in, as I think the third post in that thread from back in June 2008 perfectly illustrates . . .
Now that it's split, I don't think the U.K news posted in this thread is necessarily seen by our U.S counterparts - and we could sure as hell use their input & backing. After all, cannabis is a global issue and no matter where we are in the world it matters to those involved or have an interest in it, in general.

    - I know I would be gutted if FC got split into seperate countries instead of being what it is now.

And what about people who frequent this site who are not U.K or U.S based? Should there be a cannabis news thread for every country? I don't think so. They are all still using the general 'Cannabis News' thread.

So now I have to check both threads . . . but I'm not sure that people in the States who already have so much going on for themselves in this regard will be looking specifically to see what's going on in the little ol' U.K. And the same goes for those from other countries.

And people in the U.K should definitely be exposed to what is happenimg in the U.S, and the rest of the world - for ideas, motivation and encouragement. But I'm not sure that is happening now either.

Imo we should all be looking at the bigger picture.

But that's just me and my two pennies :2c: ;)

I regularly read this thread as I'm intensely interested in cannabis news from every country.
I'm not sure what others do. I slightly favor separate US and UK threads as I read both.
It's a global battle to fight cannabis repressive laws

Fair comment @MinnBobber. And it's certainly good to hear that you are interested in the news regarding our precious herb no matter where it's going on in the world. As I said, I try to keep an eye on both threads too, but I definitely slip at times. I just like the idea of having it all in one place, so we can all fight the good fight together. After all, it's not really U.K and U.S, it's more like U.K and then the rest of the world - as the other cannabis news thread is not country specific.

Anyway, it was just my observation & opinion, which I often find is not the 'norm' . . . . :freak:

So in true British style, 'Carry on'. . . ;)

I certainly wasn't intending to cause a division or exclude anyone....

I just found that most of the news on the other thread was related to the American side of thing's, and I don't know about you, but I didn't feel I could contribute to most of the goings on, due to lack of understanding of their system and laws....

I also felt that much of the UK news went unnoticed, or not understood maybe....

I just wanted a place that could be relative to the systems and laws I have to deal with, and be able to discuss issues with people that understand, and have a common interest....

And I do believe it's good for UK members here, to know who is from uk...
It's harder for us to get certain things, and it's nice to share knowledge and resources.....

Sorry if the thread split has displeased anyone, it wasn't my intention....

That's fine Kelly. The only reason I mentioned it was due to the comments you made yourself . . .
But I am personally more than happy to disagree - this is an open forum after all. And without differing opinions complacency and narrow mindedness can take hold. I celebrate and am thankful for the difference in opinion that we can all bring to all situations.

And I don't think that not understanding something is a reason to move away from it. I enjoy educating myself where my understanding is lacking, and by the same token I find it very hard to believe that people in the U.S could not understand the news coming out of the U.K.

As for U.K members getting to know each other - that is a personal choice and there is a thread for U.K vaporists which people can choose to be a part of if they wish - that is not cannabis news. And I'm not really sure what difficulties obtaining certain things in the U.K has to do with the news either. Again, that sort of discussion is perfect for the U.K vaporists thread - which incidentally, for anyone interested, can be found here . . .
    http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/any-uk-vapers-out-there.10386/

But I do understand what you are saying when you talk of wanting a place where you can discuss the laws & systems that are relevant to you, but again, I don't necessarily think that is news, and I almost think U.K laws surrounding cannabis could have it's own thread as they are definitely country specific.

But cannabis news is a global issue in my opinion. But you know what they say, opinions are like arseholes - everyone has one! ;)

Anyway, I shall say no more on the matter, before I bore the hell out of you & everyone else . . . or is it too late? Sorry

Now, back to the all important not the 9 o'clock news . . .

Peace to you @kellya86. I genuinely mean no offence, and I sincerely enjoy & appreciate your presence on F.C.

Survival of the fittest, natural selection, call it what you want, but this is just another way that mother nature can remove morons from our gene pool....

Bho can be manufactured in complete safety, if done correctly, by someone with just the most basic of scientific knowledge...

Even if 'lethal cannabis' was 100% thc, it would still be less harmfull than tobacco and alcohol, and pharmaceuticals... and those are still sold.....

Nice to see that vaping cannabis has been acknowledged in this article, I hope this becomes more well known...

Also nice to see a UK news post. I been busy lately so no time for fc.... good post @VegNVape...

Cheers @kellya86, and well said bro. Although I certainly don't want to see anyone getting hurt producing bho, whoever they may be - in my view these explosions are mostly just another product of prohibition, and yet another reason why legalisation would be the safer option. Inform & educate people to help them make responsible and considered decisions, rather than seek them out & destroy their lives through the power of the law . . . . unless of course they beat them to it, and blow themselves up first.

I know, 'lethal cannabis' - when will they learn eh? Sooooo ridiculous.

Have a great day & be careful out there pplz!
