That is a good suggestion... except for one thing.
Some of us prefer the more "balanced" feel of the FP with downward-facing coil turns... and it would ruin it for us if we had to put it on upward-facing.
Maybe 2 versions, with different cutout lengths? ;)
Agreed. With the extra mass I think the change in the centre of gravity might have a negative effect on balance.
Awesome, I'm still in two minds about whether to pick up the bundle or get the Auber (I'm a sucker for a rotary dial) with the FP coil and solder a 5 pin XLR on it. Having the option is nice!
Replying to myself here. Is this the first sign of madness? :D
I tried to order from Auber but they no longer stock 20mm 240V coils at all. I didn't fancy soldering my own coil as a first project with no backups and everything being shipped internationally. Ended up picking up the Vapecode Flower Pot approved 240V bundle from Sweetcigs_factory on DHgate.

I'm one person and one sesh in and i'm thrilled with the increased air flow. My daily driver rig instantly felt foreign. Percolating like never before. I'm not sure my flower knew what hit it. No stirring required. If you're looking for draw resistance this isn't it. Imagine drawing from your open rig, lungs fill in 1/2 the time, and you exhale a cloud larger than ever before with no odor or coughing. It's difficult to describe. My first impression is it's twice as good for flower. my normal 700 was to hot. Makes me wonder if pipe designers design their rigs with open flow or draw resistance in mind. I'll need to do some more testing with additional testers. It's also much larger, and more expensive. I appreciate the help and suggestions from this forum to push the flowerpot vape beyond the limitations of the centerpost design.

Now that's not very dnice at all. We're all family here. ;)

Sweet!!! I can't wait to get a 16mm wrap around head for the dnail sic dish. I'm anxiously awaiting for the day it drops!!!

Edit: @NewVape710 instead of a solid one piece design that a sic or quartz dish sits in what about a two piece design where a sic/quartz dish sits inside a removable ti dish that way you could just make one center post and different size ti dishes for the different sic/quartz dishes to sit in. Ie have a ti dish for the new Vape/tag dish and a ti dish for the dnail halos but it fits on the same center post. Just throwing it out there if it makes sense or not who knows????
I came up with that idea or at least mentioned this pages and pages ago! I was looking into using HE's nail/insert surround in a NV FP Frankenstein build until NV developed something similar. But ehhhh don't mind me. Nothing to see here.:lmao:

go fuck yourself!

you weird drug addict weirdos must think i give a fuck
Wow, states the person ordering the same products that we all are too. Hmmm...

that is a good idea thank you. I usually a sucker for the universal approach. In this case having separate parts might be easier for people to understand.

Here's my current plan for the center post design.
_________16mm coil__________
# 9175 standard / current center post 16mm
# 3073 standard dish wrap around center post for 16mm coil
# 3074 dnail dish wrap around center post for 16mm coil (will work for standard dishes but will have gap on sides of dish)
___________20mm___________
# 3045 standard / current center post 20mm
# 3062 standard dish wrap around center post for 20mm coil
# 3075 dnail dish wrap around center post for 20mm coil (will work for standard dishes but will have gap on sides of dish)

___________coil cover___________
# 3061 coil cover for 16/20mm coils.

All of the above parts are backward compatible and should be available for shipment be end of week. Upgrades will be available for existing customers.

branch point, non center post design
this head is only starting the rigorous testing.
this design is to determine if the flower side can be improved on with filling the 20mm coil id with holes.
If it's good I've already got a USA supplier ready to produce sapphire washer inserts.
massive 1.375" dia
# 3063 shower head 20mm coil (need better name)
# 3066 shower head 20mm coil nut (need better name)

please disregard the chips and burs

@NewVape710 hmmmmmm that showerhead sure looks like it's been around or on the backburner previously. Does my eagle eye spy correctly here? :ko: I noticed this like 2 weeks back in the photo.

@Baron23 here's your answer in the above information that NV provided. NV also mentioned this would be produced about 6 pages back or so.

Hey, I've been in the market for a vape to replace my MFLB and also toying with the idea of getting an Enail and stumbled across this and fell in love. Totally awesome. I love the interaction with the customer base here!

Basically waiting for the SiC dishes then pulling the trigger on a setup can't wait!
Sic dishes will be available on the NV site next week. Welcome to the crew!

Love that shower head dish (or whatever name it's now dubbed) might have to grab a 20mm coil at some point just for that beauty, feel it's more elegant with its sapphire insert as opposed to a screw down version. Sure both will and do work terrific it's just a visual thing.
Esthetics are very important for my :mmmm: .

i'm off to the r&d testing bunker.

Poor guy! I hope you make it out alive. We'll be waiting for you!

All this is doing is making me want to wait a little longer to order O.o. Are coils currently shipped with 4 wraps?
Yes and fit like a glove too.

Give me your address...I'll go pick it up for you
Give me yours and I'll pick it all up from you. Let me know when you have everything ready for me. :dog:

I'm a flower head for life....soooo yeeeeessss yesssssss we heads be about those big as humanly possible rips! This is great news in the land of options, solid!

I go for coughs sometimes now and again. It's never been the heat that makes me cough. Not even an issue really. It's because I can milk up those rips when needed that burst ya lungs from excessive heavy densely loaded vapor.

Cheahhh because nothing brings back those lovely bong rippin memories like huge coughing, sweaty, eye watering riiiiiiiips!

Thanks for the porn it's highly :goat: appreciated. Sexy lines indeed.

Cheers everyone!

Woohooooo!!!!
Count me solidly IN for purchase of one of your first production shower heads... if I might be so honored. Sounds AMAZING so far! :D

That first gen head on the stand was based around the 16mm coil. That concept was shelved to allow focus on the inexpensive 25mm quartz and sic dishes. Now it's reappeared inside a 20mm coil with. Just drilling the holes takes 20 min. I'm learning the coil cover makes a big difference as well. I've got my temp down to 600 and getting full melts on small dabs.

Well, now I'm confused. I thought I just saw a design with a raised Ti lip around the insert but not a full coil cover. Also, I think it still had five air holes. Now I see a fully shrouded Ti dish with a lot of air holes. LOL I need some configuration clarity!! hahaha

I think that you might be over complicating things my friend. :) No worries however all things are in order for you here. The raised lip is coming for what you're wanting plus with the option to add a coil covers if so desired. I hope that helps a bit. :)

The photo that you're referring to is from his newest flower head design to maximize and improve upon the flower side of the experince. Thus allowing us NV owners multiple options in one place in one sitting. Just brilliant of NV actually! Cheers mate.

I love the updates!! I am 99% sure I am going to get the new version when it comes out but I wanted to know how group friendly the flowerpot is. I am living with 8 guys who all partake in vaping and was hopping it will be able to keep up?

If you need something that can keep up than this is one of only a few vapes I know that will do it with that many people and do it well. Your only worry would be someone breaking your glass. If it was me I'd grab 2 bowls with my order for a large group and definetly the ones with the handles for easy unloading . Also a titanium head along with a Sic or Quartz . Always nice to have a extra and the titanium cannot break. Sic is pretty tough also from my experience so far. A handle for the enail will help greatly also and ofcourse a stand for the head while it's hot. Prepare to blow the minds of 8 friends haha , best of luck .

Genuine excitement rings throughout,
Body and mind in anticipation,
I've got to have this FP without a doubt.
Pulling double duty for ultimate relaxation.
Once it arrives things will be nice, head and body on blissful haze
Playing, experimenting, tinkering and enjoying
Welcome to my world, I'll will all be on in 7 days!

Ps. @NewVape710 would I be able to make your DD work with the FP on my errl rigs? As like all of your products it's fucking sexy too! I especially like the removable reclaim dish.
Then.....(good golly gee wilikers!) I notice that the same dish also doubles as a dish for your pen vaporizer. WTF! It's like reel me in deeper here already batman! I should have just stayed on the FP tab only. What have I gotten myself into here!

For all of you metal heads out there, if you haven't done so yet, check out his Drop Down. Cheers!

You. I don't like you. I don't know you but that attitude makes me not like you. Be better.

Anyways.......I wish I had that new 20mm set up. That would definitely be a huge deal as the improved airflow would change how my glass functions with it. That'll be awhile though, there's no way my VAS can succumb to more FP pieces after buying every piece like 6 weeks ago only. Unless my DB sells but that's here nor there. (it's here in classifieds hint hint).

Thank you so very much!! I missed this somehow (actually, I was attending the meeting of the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission where they were voting on licenses for our growers/processors....60-90 days from now we will be in business as some growers are already started).

that is a good idea thank you. I usually a sucker for the universal approach. In this case having separate parts might be easier for people to understand.

New Vape - thanks for the config info and thannks to Likes2vape for pointing it out to me.

One thought thought...and this is only my view...but as desirable as universality can some times be, I rather like the existing design where the bowl for the SiC insert is milled right into the metal. Better thermal conductivity, I think, and less wobble, less places for seperate parts to get stuck together, etc.

I really like a hunk of metal with a coil around it. I'm cool with coil shroud as I see this adding to performance. But otherwise, KISS is my view.

Any idea of how long to determine if the "shower head" approach will be cut into GA production?

Cheers

Sounds about right. Im definitely down for this upgrade the instant its live and I have cash. Draw resistance is not something I like at all. Less coughing and lower temps is always what I want. Neither of those options need to mean less enormous clouds :)

Have the extra holes changed the blowback that can come from releasing a fast draw in a bong?

Ok guys need a bit of info from FP owners. I got a sapphire insert today to pair with my still need to buy dnail SiC dish, I'll be attaching the SiC to the flower pot (16mm) again when I come to buy it.

My conundrum is to do with the locking nut on both the dnail SiC and the flower pot, while I know the sapphire insert will rest on the dnail locking nut I don't yet know if said locking nut is the same thread as the standard flower pot?

Can someone owning both either test the locking nut from dnail SiC on the flowerpot or just show me a picture of how it sits? I doubt the flowerpot locking nut will be compatable when using the sapphire insert?

While i do not have the Sapphire insert , i do have the Dnail Sic dish paired with the flowerpot and can tell you the nut included with the Dnail Sic dish cannot be used on the flowerpot head as they are different sizes , the Dnail Sic dish does work though on the flowerpot with the nut NewVape supplies , this leads me to believe that the insert may not work out for you. I don't think the NV nut will be compatible with the insert bc i think the insert actually sits on the ledge of the nut they supply and if that is the case there is no ledge on the Nv nut.

Thanks for getting back to me @Justpassedu that's to bad it doesn't fit right, might have to re consider my plans now. Yes the insert just sits sweetly on the ledge for convection dabbing or more convection.
