Taking forever to charge. 4 hours and were only half way!! I wanna use this thing so bad. Think I might just do it haha

4 hrs?!
Wow.....what charger are you using?
It shouldn't take that long if you are charging at a minimum of 1A

Edit: Ah.....just expanded the prior post and saw the page 50 D4 recommendation. That explains everything!

That charger has 2 channels for 4 slots with 750mA maximum output per channel.

So if you haven't noticed this in the instruction manual and have plugged in 2 x 18650's in the two slots powered by the same channel then you will be charging at 375 mA per battery ......which is going to take forever.

If you are charging two batteries at the same time then make sure they are on separate channels .....or just charge one at a time in your 4 bay charger :p if you don't feel like looking up the charging channel configuration in the manual.

Even at a 750mA charge current, if only charging one battery/channel - it should be a lot quicker since your newly purchased battery should be within a chargeable range and not fully depleted (i.e., doesn't have to jump start the chemistry with very low trickle charge at first)

You're not using an Xtar VP2 by any chance? When you put the battery in, there's a button above the screen between the two lights you gotta press to make it charge at .5A instead of the default .25A. I fell for that one!

Great part about these battery's is that they are inexpensive. So if you find yourself not able to wait and you do long term damage then you'll be able to replace them very cheap.

True! It's almost done

How hard do you screw the battery cover down? Firm or just snug?

I'm absolutely blown away by the level of performance this vape delivers for a 189 dollars. I've owned a 700 dollar vape that can't do what this can do. I wanted to love it. And I do. The heat up time is unreal!! Smooth full flavor vapor. Almost zero learning curve!

I've also never been this medicated from a vaporizer, I need to stop typing now.

Was totally worth waiting for! One question, can I leave the battery in it or do you guys always take it out after use??

Only Failsafe = Battery removal
you are good though if it is like lying on your desk or in a drawer if you're sure there's nothing to move and press the button or whatever. It was always the only failsafe really, the only true power switch in this minimal device... I have left mine in out and about, but I am often very careful and checking it to be sure then.
you must remove the battery only during transport
the concern is accidentally pushing the button. I leave my battery in whenever the device isn't in a pocket.

I take my battery out, recharge it. and put it back in a battery box. It just seems like good discipline to take the battery out given the awful things that could potentially happen. Maybe I'm just a wuss but all those news stories about battery assault (;)) have me extra cautious. It only takes a few seconds once you get the hang of it. If I've only done one bowl I'll just put it in the battery box for safekeeping and charge in the morning after a wake and bake.

My efest only does .5 -1a charge, was doing .5 then decided 1 should be fine... Is there much advantage in charging at .2?

I'm BAAA-AAACK! It's me, everybody's (least) favorite (ex)-customer that you wish would just go away. Well, trust me I'm try'na, but the damn guy won't give me my money back!

I bought all 3 vapes ages ago, and eventually got one of them. The tech just wasn't for me, so I sold it and asked for the other 2 to be refunded right away. I got one refund pretty quickly, plus a personal guilt-trip email (literally included the words "how could you") for giving my honest review on this site.

I waited and waited, but no refund for the other piece. So, a few weeks ago, I asked for a refund AGAIN, and bitched here hoping someone would notice. BUT NO, I AM STILL WAITING!! I WANT TO BE DONE WITH RBT!!! PLEASE GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK IF YOU CAN HEAR ME RBT!!! PLEASE!?

If someone here has this guy's email, could you please PM me? I deleted his guilt-trip so I no longer have it. Thanks y'all, sorry for the bother.

My two baskets are so out of shape now, but pushed one back in the gong a bit and getting a more even cook! Only problem is I can't use the screw to tamp it anymore.

Full Steam Ahead
Manufacturer
I've been experimenting.

Minimal Rotation / Stirring (MRS)
Grind: DRY* good herb, shredded pretty fine, but fluffy
Screen: pushed to about 3/8" of tip
Load: about .1 or less / 1/8"+ from tip / 1/8"+ layer of material
Tamp: tight, but not crushed
Button: hold for entire hit, release if too much heat sensed, but slow draw controls that
Draw: really slow, using the draw resistance created by grind and tamp to allow heat to hover in stem
Stem rotation: very little as the slow draw allows heat to saturate without local charring and uneven ABV
Stir: one final stir and tamp to squeeze out every drop
*Dry using heat lamp set up, dryer the better, makes shredding a breeze
NOTE: Keeping bowl hot vs allowing to cool makes this method seemless, otherwise first pull has to reheat stem.

It's a shame! If a lot of members wasn't told us how this vape works well, I will go straight to ask for a refund!

Could you told us what are your favourite(s) vape(s) to know what you are comparing the Mi about?

I used to own a bunch of the HE4 and they are great. I will always be a sony fanboy so you'll always catch me with Sony batteries but the LG's are great.

The only thing that concerns me is I have never heard of the hg4, when i googled it I only found alibaba sellers.... do you mean hg2?
I think you are both referring to these right? I have been using these in my Milaana and got extra's for my VTC Mini TC mods for my Divine Tribe atty and 510 enail. They work well.

I use these as well -- great batts. Just a note for all: Be cautious of where you get your batteries. There are way too many rewraps passed off as authentics out there and battery safety is too important to place your faith in an unknown.

This seller seems legit as it is the Ebay store of an established Vape vendor, but I would be wary of buying batteries on Ebay. You won't save much money anyway. These two vendors are much more reliable and trustworthy:

@RastaBuddhaTao . HI.
I see planetvape.ca has the milaana. I will be ordering right away. Can you tell me what kind of warranty I'll have.
Thanks man . All di best.

Any mighty owners grab a milaana yet? Any thoughts.

Also to anyone. does it work right out the box or do I need tweaks and proper technique?

So, are you guys using the HG2s in just MI or also in your Zion? I don't know if the unregulatedness (g) is what drives you to it over the HE4, or just more power...

Anyone have Shiela's e-mail that would be willing to share? I've tried contacting RBT through the web form a couple times but it has been over a week and no response. With the reports of some people getting their Mi's I am trying to get an idea on when I should expect mine. Getting up early everyday to meet up with the mailman "just in case" isn't very convenient for me seeing as I work late evenings.
