Those Ti caps look like they have the possibility of working significantly better than the SS cap; I had no intention of ordering a woody, mostly due to the nearly double price-tag and already being strapped, but these looks so good my VAS is out of control.

Just so you know, I believe the cap itself will be the same SS as always. It is the tip that is changed from the standard model, from glass on the base model to TI on the upgraded models. The upgrade appears it may allow for less resistance during use, due to the way air will flow into the SS cap and then through the machined channels on the two upgraded versions (TI and Woodies/TI).

Edit. Excited to try the difference and I should be among the first people with the opportunity to compare. I will let you all know.

Could you all add your order # when you post about getting order confirmation? I know that George posted he's going to try to get many out this week. Still waiting on the basic model.

Oh, lucky you! :disgust: ( just jealous sorry )

I hope the new Ti tips hit like a champ.

George just put a sneak attack on my bank account, yet I have to still pull the trigger on my order. Still uncertain of the Dynastash ATM. With the magnet on the back it does look like the best companion for the vapcap. But wholly hell that's 180 and some change for me :(

I hate oil. Barrels of oil( DAMN PETRO DOLLAR!!! )... I like hash oil.

Speaking of which, I put a very small piece of shatter in-between herb in the vapcap. Oh boy does that work very well!

So with the new Ti tips being made does that mean the full Ti Vapcap is close to being complete ?

I like the wood, but I'm very curious to see what this could look like now. George has just been pleasantly surprising us time and time again. I also feel like a full Ti body would get a lot hotter for longer than a glass or wood body.

Has anyone looked in the mouthpiece after the click.

It's beautiful . You can literally watch it extract.

Can't wait for mine. Have a 1st gen and woody on order. Got to pick my wood, but have not heard anything about shipping yet. I want the Stash, but am holding out for better magnets in a V2. Super stoked, but doesn't look like I will get it in time for XMas. Oh well, will be a New Years present to me.

Has anyone used a vapcap with a butane-less torch? The plazmatic x folks state that their torch gets to over 700 degrees so on the surface that seems like it would be serviceable for those wanting to avoid using butane torches.

Thoughts?

That's interesting. Not sure if safe for the all Ti VC? VapZap!

Mister G,
Should check with George first. If it is to hot George has been pretty clear that there is a temperature threshold that should not be crossed. Anything that speeds the heating cycle is something I'm interested in.
@virtualpurple I mentioned it before, but it bears mentioning again; my propane torch for dabbing is excessive for the VapCap Original, and was nearly unusable (it did technically vaporize, but would click instantaneously; uniform heating was inachievable, due to the cap reaching temp instantly when the flame touched it).

Yeah, I'd be worried to use my Bigshot on the vap cap, even when I had to burn my carpet off it I just stuck with the single flame.

Single flame torch is definitely the better option, for me at least at this point. I think a wider flame just heats it up too quickly, and I really don't think you want that. I like to slow cook everything, whether it's chicken, ribs, cannabis , it's all better sloooooow.

Update time.

As you may see below, I have a box full of happiness ready to ship out.

But, these look so good, I don't know if I can part with them.... But I know I need to.
I have some more VapCaps heading off to college too.

I find it somewhat amazing how many of these fit into such a small space. It sure seems this is a rather compact unit.
The Ti Woodies started shipping on Thursday, and there will be a bunch more going out Monday morning. I will be assembling and packing up these goodies all weekend.
I sure hope these bring their new caretakers as much joy as the have brought me watching them grow up.

I will post some more pictures of the Ti Woody parts and how they work tonight.

Cheers,

George

Looks good. Can't wait to recieve the Vapcap, although it didn't make it for Christmas. On the woodies it looks like the mouthpieces have a metal part that could touch your lips. Will that get hot or potentially burn the lips? Could you post a closeup picture of the mouthpiece from the point of view of the user? And one of the stainless steel inner tube? Eager to see more pics, a user review, or a video of the woody with stainless steel inner tube.

Got mine yesterday, have been playing with it but havent gotten any good results. Any tips? I've tried multiple different ways but the best result was the smallest visible vapor imaginable. Maybe I'm just expecting too much idk.

I just placed my order for my Ti Woodie, I'd love to see what the innards of the stems look like.

I just thought of how much it would suck to lose my OG vapcap so I've gotta get one. I hope the caps are the same, it would be nice to have two in case I lose one or break by accident.

@ean have you tried heating it with a single flame while torch aiming it a little lower on the cap? I find that works the best for visible vapor. After it clicks I pull with no carb to cool it down a bit then I pulse it for a bit. I get quite decent size hits.

Start trying with only a tiny amount of material. You need airflow. Try a 3/4 grinded up pack.

Do a dry run or two, until you get used to the click. Put heat more towards the middle of the cap and less to the tip for higher temps. Feather the hole and/or watch in a mirror your vapor fill up the tube. Good luck.

Thanks guys, was for sure putting too much material in there lol. was packing it down and what not at first. it gives nice solid hits now thanks a lot really enjoy this little guy. I get about 2 hits per pack, packing less then or equal to .1. First is a delicious hit no vapor, second is a light misting. Not bad for a flame powered 20 dollar investment very pleased.

I haven't found that it matters how much I put in this, I can just pull on it without the carb and I'll get plenty of vapor.

Here's some more Vapcap action

Youtubes not workin for me.

That vid is insane, how is there so much vapor :)

It seems like there is quite a bit of variance between peoples experience.

When I did that kind of heating and drawing with my Vapcap the taste was suffering big time... Good thing it works for you buddy!

My friend, to whom I gifted my Vapcap, is having a great time so far by the way. His cigarette and joint consumption are hitting bottom as we speak! ;)

This thing looks awesome, it seems like a no brainer to go for the titanium and woodie at only 50 quid. From what I just saw it can provide heavy hits. My main concern is how easy is it to control the temperature? I certainly don't want to combust by accident. I guess a huge worry of mine is there is a huge amount of potential for user error.
