Trapped in the Astral Planes Back from the dead
The eyes are amazing in there complexity. Given a flat empty space they can detect a single candle flame at a distance of 30 miles.

Sorry for the ot, back on track. I am curious to see in the upcoming month if they are able to pinpoint the issues and get them rectfied in a timely manner. Here's hoping.

Here's my suggestion for a starting point on baffles for the intake.

Cut a strip of 'cardboard box' say 1.5 inches by two. You want the corrugated fiberboard type, with the solid covers over a corrugated center. Then strip off one face so you have the corrugated part on one side, facing on the other.

Spray paint the corrugated part flat black. "Coloring it in" with a Sharpie would also work, but flat black paint will generally be a better light absorber. When dry, wrap it around the unit over the vents and secure with a rubber band. Air will enter the gaps in the corrugation and easily make the right angle turn into the vents, photons (light) coming out will not be able to turn so will reflect around until absorbed.

I imagine it's going to get plenty hot with that thing on a hopper! Even sounds a little flammable. I like it.

i'm baffled as to how this works as a one hitter click and hit. Doesnt the herb chamber still remain hot after 3 or 4 pulls?

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
That's ma mayn! :D

Thanks for devoting your first post to it. Welcome and have fun :)

BTT : OFs plan in this context sounds good. Am curious what kind of diy stealth mods will pop up as lights-on-workaround.

I love it :)

I really get instant one's specifically to pull out anywhere and take a quick draw. The Grasshopper sadly clashes with that just another juice tincture vape story since it looks like a nice pen.

Is there any evidence that they actually built a single thing shown on that site?

And I'm sorry, but I just have to: "Trevor has an exceptional understanding of engineering and flight systems, as well as startup management experience and a passion for business."

It reminds me of my 18 year old sons resume- yeah, you know a little about that, but calling yourself an "Expert" in it...?

Sorry for raising this up again. I really don't want to fuel any speculation, and I'm more interested in hearing from actual GH owners than people just speculating. Anyway I'll join in since I got curious and couldn't help digging around: A google search for "Bird Aerospace LLC" (with the quotes) only gives 3 pages of results.:\ The most interesting find is this:
http://videos.cache.magnify.net/5TWX0W366WW6G1VK-Bird_Aerospace_108_780_576x0.mp4 So I'm not very convinced about Bird Aerospace.

However, I must say that I'm mostly confident in the efforts of Hopper Labs, since they do have a great product that works (most of the time). They just need to get all the bugs sorted ASAP. I'm sure (and hope) that now they're extra careful about the assembly and the units that they ship. I'll happily continue my t-break until my 3 hoppers arrive (hopefully this year).

Wow, that's a long haul t-break if you don't know when they're coming. More power to you.

And more flowers for me! Muwahahahhaa

The lights are a bit bright for me, I'll bet. Think a band of some sort will suffice to dim them. Maybe a stainless mesh (wedding?) ring?

@Snappo mentioned covering the led with sharpie or the like. ISO will remove it whenever you want.
The led is located down inside the air holes. I seriously doubt someone is going to be able to get a sharpie or anything like that in there(and getting all surfaces of the diode as well), let alone being able to wipe it off with ISO later on.

It's a nice idea and all, I just don't see it working unless you have the ability to disassemble and reassemble the unit.

I personally don't see the light as a big deal at all. Tell people it was an ecig if they see the light.
Then there's always the smart advice of just not using your Hopper in situations where unwanted people will see you using it.

Edit
You might be able to get a fine point sharpie into the hole. I still don't think you would be able to cover enough of the led with it to make much of a difference though.
Light coming from the surfaces you were unable to reach would still be visible.
