A friend and I went to town on the alfa last night. This person usually uses a cloud evo, and that's the first and only vape they haven't found disappointing performance from. Their tolerance is seriously high. We were passing it back and forth and every time he was exhaling huge clouds of vapor from his nose and mouth, coughing, looking really shocked. After a few pulls he would tap out every single time. THAT is proof positive how awesome this vaporizer is.

While I've watched him go through 5 cloud vape basket loads in a sitting, we didn't come close to killing a load between us last night. Just passing it back and forth, endless clouds.

He, like everyone else, is completely sold on this vape.

The best part? There is no special technique to getting clouds. Just start up, wait a bit, inhale however you want.

i think after reading this thread there def is some technique to getting clouds. Some have said not to grind to fine , some have said to pack super tight and some have said not to. I watched a few youtube videos and most were not getting huge clouds. I will be getting mine soon in the mail. I have a arizer air now and i am very happy with it. The Alfa will be my stealth vape. I really hope i'll be getting the big clouds bc i am def a cloud chaser. Happy New Year All. Enjoy your Alfa's and please post some pics.

I made a nice long mouthpiece for at home use. Its a smoother draw, I can get much bigger clouds with less throat irritation.

I just heard the only downfalls were the battery life of this unit and i love my pax if this can compete ill be happy this seems much more pocket friendly due to the fact that its flat.
ill keep checkin this vape out for sure.

My Alfa didn't come with a wooden tool. I tried many household items as a packer/stirrer. Finally, while getting a fork to eat something, I noticed some cheap chop sticks. I cut one piece about three inches from the eating end and sanded the cut end to 45 degrees. It's absolutely perfect. Wish I knew how to post a pic.

I use a flat head screw.

Happy New Year. I was wondering if anyone knows what type of plug the Alfa uses to charge ? I'd like to pick something up with a USB at the other end for car charging or on the go charging off of one of my battery packs. Any help would be greatly appreciated .

I haven't had time to write a comprehensive review, but I love this little guy.

I agree with those that say a fine grind tightly packed produces great clouds.

I found the rod to be tricky to pack around, but I fashioned a bowl packer out of a container I found. It works perfectly. It is a container for Pentel erasers, item # PDE-1. I drilled a hole in the cap the size of the rod, and now it packs perfectly. The blue cap is the perfect size for the bowl, and it even has a lip on it so it can't go completely into the bowl and get stuck.

Someone said they use a screen on top to sandwich it down. Wouldn't that take care of the packing?

NICE, can you explain how you built it and exactly what parts you used and where they can be purchased? Can a glass tube be used? Thanks.

So just to keep you guys updated I have posted my unit off to the seller (vaporizor.com), they supplied a RMA number and i've sent it out, I believe it'll probably take max a few weeks before I get my unit back, in the meantime i'll be sticking to my solo.

Its pretty ghetto, I just took part of a pen and stuck it in the mouthpiece. I think the divinchi ascent mouthpiece would work pretty well.

Slow draw, I use a screen on top, but I still tamp it down first.

Oh my! This never crossed my mind. I just tried it and its a perfect fit! Good thing I have 2 of those glass tubes. Thanks @2 Paces :bowdown:

A few fyi's:

For grinding I use the MFLB grinder.

For filling I use a folded business card.

For packing I use the MFLB cleaning brush (the rounded end) to pack down.

I've had my Alfa for 3 weeks, thankfully no issues.

ok, i just received me alfa. Is anyone else charging port/ cable feel really loose? Also the oven on the bottom has a hole in it? how does material keep from going in?

Slow draw from reading this forum there is supposed to be a hole there , most are taking the screen out by the mouthpiece for better airflow, punching a hole in it and placing it in the oven to block that hole and packing. Lmk how you make out and what you think . I'm still waiting on mine in the mail.

i will derfinetely let you know. I may have to send my unit back. The charging port is a bit off and if you move the unit whle on the cord the red light shuts off.

My unit does the same thing at one angle, I use a rubber band to hold the plug in place.

Great idea. Can you take a picture of the cap and how it looks on the alfa chamber? Do you only use the container to store the herb and the lid to pack it?

No joke man, but the rubber band will take care of that. Also if anybody has a loose temp control knob, just take some dental floss and wrap it around a couple times and tuck it in with a sowing needle. It has not come on in my pocket since I have done this.

I bought a $5 mflb glass stem today and it's awesome. The alfa is great but the mouthpiece is a little small. This not only adds some length to it but makes it even a smoother draw. Just slip it right through the alfa mouthpiece. Thanks for the tip.
