Yeah vapeworld is a nice site.

I ordered the LB with 2 additional batteries and that vapeworld aerospace grinder for a grand total of 119

Then used the super nifty "FC-2010" code to bring my total to a nice $105 :ninja:

Can't wait to receive it and get :ko:

grinded a load up finer than i've ever grinded b4 (it was like salt) and wow, the hits were amazing. For teh first time i got really thick tasty hits from this thing that i had to fight to hold in and release it in what seemed like 3 separate breaths lol i've gotten 4 like that so far out of this trench, and not even lookin like half way through it. Needless to say, i'm totally vaked (and miles from home!) and totally in love with this thing. :D
Haha! I'm glad you're finally getting that, yes grinding the herb up very fine will produce a very GOOD and DELICIOUS vapor (that will literally lift ya...:)). I have a 2.5" chromium crusher (that you can get for pretty cheap on ebay) that I use all the time, basically everyday. I've had it for over a two years already and dropped it a few times but its still solid. I highly recommend it, you will be able to grind it down to the max!

Hey guys, new to here and am very interested in the LB but I have a few questions

I am curious to which of these options are best so help me out here

1. Buy from blisssville no charger kit, total would be $82 and purchase these, ( http://www.amazon.com/Sanyo-Eneloop...2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1267094068&sr=8-2 )

Total = $100

2. Buy from vapeworld with coupon code FC-2010 and purchase these ( http://www.amazon.com/Sanyo-NiMH-Re...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1267094168&sr=1-1 )

Total = $100

3. same as above but instead purchase Powerex 2700 mAh ( http://www.amazon.com/Powerex-2700m...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1267094280&sr=1-1 )

Total = $100

There are these batteries also are they any good? ( http://www.amazon.com/AccessoryPOWE...6?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1267094280&sr=1-6 )

Also, to anyone that has bought from vapeworld do they include the tin can and ABV container to store used herb?

Thanks to everyone that helps :):):)

Acrylic peg stem can weld to screen. I always use the peg stem, and I accidentally destroyed one of my LBs while trying to remove the peg for cleaning: the torquing tore the screen.

Mea culpa, mea culpa. Thank goodness I have two.

Hi Macbill,

This is a warranty covered event. If you have not done so already, please contact us privately via email with the Box number and your postal address for warranty service for that unit.

I like Powerex, but you should check here- http://www.thomasdistributing.com/s...e=2&sort=3a&osCsid=a98rm8a91donrsllit8gi3gna7 I'd buy from Vapeworld, for sure, and get the 12% discount.

With Thomas Dist., you get at least one plastic battery case with every 4 bats. I just bought the Powerex package for 16 bats-got 8 free cases (enough for 32 batteries), plus a free soft case big enough for a digital camera and supplies, a vape kit, or whatever. I paid 10 cts. more, total, vs. what you'd pay for the same 16 bats from Amazon, and there you get no extras. And if you wanted to add a charger to your Thomas order (MAHA 204GT smart charger is a great deal for $15), shipping would only increase by less than a dollar.

Also, to anyone that has bought from vapeworld do they include the tin can and ABV container to store used herb?
You should be getting the same kit, no matter where you buy it. Magic Flight packages the kit and sends it to dealers. I don't know of anything extra that you get by buying from Blissville. From what I can tell, the ABV container is an option, for an extra $.95

Thanks, synaesthetique! That made me more confident in my purchase lol. And even better to know that my herb won't fall out haha.

Magic Flight, I do have a question: I haven't seen any pictures that do a good close up of the "trench" and the screen. Is there space underneath the screen? I'm just curious because I do not know if there is, and I don't want to deal with herb stuck in or under the screen.

Oh, another question for those who already own an LB: how much herb do you folks normally put into the "trench"?

There is.

I don't want to deal with herb stuck in or under the screen.
This has never been an issue with mine.

It's personal preference. A larger amount will give you bigger hits, but as with any vape, the more in the bowl, the more you'll be vaping spent herb as you're stirring and getting it all vaped. I load a small amount. It's not good for big hits with visible vapor exhales, but it's easier to get it all vaped, without having to taste much of the ABV.

Wow... the more I learn about the LB, the more I see how perfect of a vaporizer it is.

Ugh, I hate waiting for this thing. I'm so excited, that I even dreamt of it.
I was actually sitting in physics class in the back of the room, passing it amongst my friends lol.

buck824, you might want to do what some posted about earlier. draw in some air along with the vapor. the hits won't be thick but you'll still get vaped and the air clears quicker. i'm kind of in the same boat as you because my wife hates the smell. so i experimented all over the house, absorbed all her complaints and found a style where she can't detect it. i've even vaped this way in the same room with her.
I'm experimenting with the draw, and also have been drawing air with the vapor---it's getting better, but i still have some experimenting to do!

The best thing is it works every time, whether blowing out huge vapor clouds or less detectable ones.

i haven't been out much at all this winter and also the fact that our winter here in Canada has been very mild....but today was cold -9 C and windchill -19C

I just got back from a 10 minute walk outside and decided to test the vape out...so it was a freshly charged battery with my typical load of slightly below the trench line finely grounded....i let the LB get cold for a few minutes before I took my first hit....no one is outside since who would be walking in this weather...but anyways, I was vaping freely allowing the wind to just go at the box....I did not finish the trench as I was in a good place but it was close to being spent....the battery has still more juice...

final verdict -9C with windchill of -19C with the box fully exposed to the wind and a fresh battery....A+

That's not too cold. I expect it will work under colder conditions, and I'll try them when my LB arrives....hopefully Monday. But if my Io works down to -30C, this little thing will too.

I too would expect it to work under colder condtions since it didn't seem to be struggling at all....even though the light was a great confirmation my battery was still giving juice, i definitely noticed the warm vapor hitting my tongue while i was drawing....and of course to be fair...it was only outside for 10mins (altho that was plenty of time for me to get there :brow: )

it seems our city missed winter this year whereas last year was brutal...i shoveled the snow once this year and that was just for fun since it was melting but i needed some exercise

** and I'm still looking for a super bouncer (seems to be out of season at walmart) for my giant lollipop casing

I had ordered my Launch Box, and from elsewhere I had ordered an Everready 15 minute charger with 4 AA nimh's, until I just remembered that only a certain type of battery can be charged in the Everready 15 minute charger. I know thta I have to peel the coating off of the battery, but does anyone know if the Everready 15 minute batteries can be charged without the coating?

thanks

Tom

(I figure this is what I get for being too excited :))

[Edit; I think that the Rayovac IC3 batteries have to be used with their 'special' coating on. However, I will report back when I receive the Everready batteries and note what happens]

I lost the tube to the vape, the mouthpiece or whatever its called, basically the long tube you stick in the vape to inhale. Anyone know where i can get a spare? It came with two but i lost both :S. Does anyone know how to DIY one or something to replace it?

It was a few posts back, but about the using it in the cold; it definitely works. I used my launch box outside while it was -20F. Normally I'd get to test it around -40F (-40C) but this winter has not been as cold as usual. Damn hippies and their global warming :lol:

Hi,

Little bit of trivia -- the design size of the draw hole on the Box was originally sized to be compatible with one of the common straw sizes used in many fast food restaurants, and I believe that specification is still unchanged. In a pinch, you might collect and try some soda straws and see if you can find a match. That and a pair of scissors, you might get a temporary solution. Of course, the specifically manufactured version is more likely to be useful.

ok anyway i managed to find one of my "sticks" :lol::lol:
it fell off my bed and my cat started playing with it and i found it in the corner of my room..
anyway quick question: does the whip for the magic flight cool the vapor more than the stick does? is the coolness of the vapor noticeable?
