Well in a way we do get to vote... with our wallets....and these forums as well of course... and I do feel as well as seeing demonstrated on this forum that this manufacture does indeed listen to our wants verses requirements / likes and dislikes....so I think we are properly casting our vote's.....

I was given a list of improvements to be expected wrt the INH05 and the internet firmware upgradeable wasn't mentioned.....the biggie on the list, which I was of course glade to see was the USB issue being addressed from 4 different angles....

1st and likely foremost their expected to have new switch knobs that have stops at both the beginning and the end and 31 clicks along the way....
2nd they have added notches to both the bodies and the circuit boards {I sorta suggested this 1}...
3rd they have readjusted the port location to relieve stress....
4th they have added extra landing pads to secure the rear of the port....

If we're gonna dream..... I'd love to see the XP configurable by the consumer....
we get to select the min/max temps
we get to select the thresholds
we get to select the reaction delta's

anyway back to reality.... I'm hoping to see our beta INH05's Mar/Apr time frame.... there has been mention of the heating chamber getting a bit of a face lift....the sensor being incorporated {loosing the tape}.... the solder connections will now be on the other side of the white disc at the base outside of the air path....shorter charging time along with a longer run time.....and some little things like the cover can be attached to the bottom of the switch knob for storage.....the LED's are gonna be Blue....it's a tiny bit shorter.... .25" {1/4"} oh yea and the bodies are gonna be white...... must be a new improved material.... I wasn't overly thrilled about that last one......privately hoping something can change there....

No black version?

That's basically the same thing as NOT having a stealth version.

Knowing the legality of the product going into these things why wouldn't BLACK be the standard color...

Now I didn't say that... although I have only seen a single pic of a red, silver, and white and they had the full body stickers on them again..... so it might be safe to assume that there will be a black unit {sticker}. What I said was the body is now white.....so the ribs at the top will be white.....and it looks like the base of the switch knob and cover is white as well....
I envision the black sticker unit might resemble the "Storm Trooper" look but in reverse obviously....

Besides using the charging cable that came with the unit (which made the units heating light turn on and off), everything is working better than I remember.

The USB port issue isn't the main problem! Imo the list needs to be:

1. Better Customer Service
2. Higher Quality of Vapor (flavor / convection issues)
3. Fix USB issues / charging issues
4. Make device more stealthy

They are starting to do better with #1 and #3, but I'm still worried about 2 and 4. White color? No admit of a loss in Vapor Quality from Q2 to Q4?

Maybe there was a breaking in period or I dropped my unit just right, but my xp seems to be improving performance. I sandwiched some vortex bubble hash in between a "the dawg' load and just started my 5th full run (8min?) on a cap and it's been putting out pretty good visible vape the whole way.

My gal and I enjoyed some of our reclaimed wax last night it is amazing and also seems to last and last... I take a small dab and roll it into a tiny very sticky turd...which I of course have to let collect herb dust..makes it alot easier to roll and size....and here comes the amazing part....after 4,5 sometimes 6 runs I can empty the cap and the turd is still somewhat holding together and I then reload it in 1st {hottest portion of the chamber the exit} then pull in a full load over top of it..... and again it continues to deliver enhanced flavor and affect....can't quite describe the taste it adds to the herb but you know it is there for sure.....
I going to be giving my tiny wax turd another fresh load this morning/afternoon....this reclaiming wax thing is very new to me....and I just love it.....so I guess I can be taught new tricks after all....very nice....

Can you explain reclaim? I assume its in the name like reclaiming some leftovers from previous uses, but how do you acquire it? Thanks interested in your response

No worries I'd be happy to explain the process.....it all started back when I got my 1st Q2 which quickly earned the title of the "Beast" and since our purchase was made through PlanetVape they sent along a few extra tubes that were white and a bit more pliable than the blue inhalater provided tubes....I mention that because I haven't reclaimed using the blue tubes although in theory it should work the same..... anyway we began to notice what appeared to be dust or dirt that was collecting on the inside of the white tubes...... I had a perfect little wooden spoon that came with my VB2.0 for stirring {something my VB 2.0 had to have done often} {conduction vapes errrr} it makes for a perfect tiny scooper / scrapper to gather what I first thought to be a dust or dirt was in fact THC oil.... as the vapor leaves the chamber it immediately begins to condense along the way....after a while you should begin to notice that you can actually taste and even feel it in your throat.....
I also reclaim from inside the mouth piece tip as it condenses there as well..... it is a very dark reddish brown also black looking until the sun hits it.....I deposit each scrap of oil/wax into one of the blue tubes.. I put into the top of the tube and pull out chucks of wax to make my turds from the bottom......
I am currently looking for a better storage device.... but like I said the stuff is amazing very pure..... also it doesn't collect on the walls over night so it does take some time depending of course on your usage...

Listen if you start doing this with the blue tubes and get similar results {which I would expect} do let us know....thx

I have noticed build up with what looks like particulate from the plant matter inside the mouthpiece. I've been cleaning it and throwing it out. Is that it or am I thinking wrong. Also while cleaning the capsule I get that dark oil you are talking about but in bigger amounts. Is there a way to get that out? Lastly, do you recommend any items to scrape with (besides that tool you have)? Thanks for the quick response.

Yes that is it and if I don't scrap my cap inside mouthpiece each time I notice the tube needs cleaning but rather wait until the cap needs cleaned then yes I get nice big chucks... that I'm sure anyone could scrap out with a tooth pick...... The cool spoon can be order separately for only $3.99 from the folks at Vapor Blunt otherwise some dental tools might work also....trick is not to disturb the opposite wall while scrapping and collecting the oil/wax..... very sticky too...

So yea quit throwing that stuff away it is very potent..... I originally started to collect it because I was hoping to buy a Sublimator and use it to dab with.... but that hasn't happened as of yet and when I saw someone else had tried to make a wax sandwich and it worked well for them.... I tried it and it was awesome as well...... enjoy

Hi quick question. The film inside of the oven part that covers the coils is unraveling. Right now it is a strip. Does anyone know if I should try to repair it myself or send back for warranty repair? How much does the film affect performance? Thanks for any feedback.

I'm pretty sure that the "film" is vital to the functioning of the unit. It is the material responsible for conducting heat. I don't know if you can repair it yourself though...?

I would ask Inhalater directly this question. It could be something that requires factory attention.

The oven heater is flattened and seal in between the Polyimide film....I would prefer to see a good picture of what you are referring to...because the chamber is overlapped slightly and the tape is on the outside not the inside.... it might be possible that your chamber has lost its shape ever so slightly {out of round} and you might need to reshape it.....note: there are very tiny little cuts along the top of the chamber just below the white circle we see {where the cap goes in} there are lots and lots of these tiny little cuts which act as a flare or lip to guide the capsule into the chamber...... you may have just caught 1 or 2 of these tiny little cuts along the top so it is now visible to you..... normally we will not see these very tiny little cuts but if we get things hot enough and we experience a side force causing the cap to come out at an angle...... it is possible to cause misalignment of the heat chamber...... it is after all just a wrap around

Now if you are actually able to see exposed heating element {metal} then I'm with Vitolo....best to get a good clean picture and email Greg at admin@inhalater.com....... I gotta believe it should go back...and please get back to us here...because that would be a first.... I don't recall ever reading about anyone reporting that the heating chamber was itself separating.... there have been a few misaligned or crinkled chambers and I have had to play with those tiny tabs during assembly....making sure all of them were tucked under the white circle we see......

Take a good clean pic and email it in to Greg.....start there....

Thanks for the response. Yes there is a strip of film that has come off and gets in the way when you slip the capsole in to the chamber. I tried calling Inhalater today and sent them an email. It is unusable right now as just having the capsole in there makes it rip even more. It is too bad because this portable has been good to me so far. I will report back after hearing back from them. Thanks again.

New here.
A quick google search of "inhalater warranty" brought me here. I cannot seem to post in the main "Portable Vaporizer thread" but by glancing quickly through a few posts members seem to have gotten their replacement units fairly fast. Even those that have asked for a replacement unit in the last little while.

I have been waiting since Dec the 4th. CONSTANT emails back and forth with promises of it being replaced with nothing to show for it...

Any help would be greatly appreciated! inbox or here

Thanks in advance.

Well, I came here because I finally had a chunk of money to burn and an itch for a new vape but aftert that last post I think I'll keep moving, again.

I always wanted this vape to be awesome but warranty problems and hearing that units are still being temperamental keep driving me away.

If the price was a little better (~ 149.99) I think I would be more willing to jump in no matter the issues simply because this vape does everything I want. Maybe a price drop will happen soon?

Edit: this thing has been on my wish list for a long time, I really would like to see it happen soon.

I had to deal with the repair process. Took 3 weeks total. Quick considering it went to Canada and through customs and all that. Honestly when it works it seems too good to be true. Very happy with my unit.

Hey guys, I have a flight coming up in 2 days. Have any of you tried flying with your inhalater?

It's not an international flight and id clean it before, but im still a bit worried about the circuit board going through security. They may see it as questionable and it ask to view it. If they do, i'm worried they will see it heats up and deny it.

What do you guys think?

Could anyone tell me how big the XP load capsules are in diameter? Im curious if i could fit one into a 18mm or 14mm male ground glass piece? Like would it slide into one of those and almost be air tight. Or close too it. Im moding one of my vapes thats why i ask.

I think it fits on a 14. I have an adapter for 18. But honestly, it fits against anything if u hold it. But if you want it to sit without holding it...

I think its 14, but don't quote that.

I would bet it is amazing, but sending anything across the boarder scares the hell out of me. And with the many reports about warranty issues taking much longer than three weeks it's not something I want to gamble with.

When they put out a batch that works at least 90% of the time! I will jump in.

I see comments like this all the time but I have yet to find a single incident anywhere involving trouble caused by shipping a used vapourizer across any border. Several top selling vapourizers are designed and made in Canada and thousands of units have gone back and forth to the US and other countries. If there were any danger at all we'd know about it by now.

Thanks for the positive post.
I too love my unit, which functions very well indeed.
I do not mind hearing about bad experiences, but it gets old when the same members keep popping in every few posts to remind us that they did not like their unit. We get the idea. Some did not like their unit. Post your disdain once and move on.
@vaplen nice post.
