Do explain your name and avatar....

Fenton Mewley

A man in search of cloudier pastures
Fenton Mewley: A spoiled jackass and snot nosed kid from cartoon show "Home Movies."

I thought the show was hilarious as a kid (played on UPN). Watched the series again a few years ago, and I found him to be rather odd... And pretty interesting.

The avatar is Fenton.

I also like the name Fenton (That guy from That 70s Show, ha!)

Very interesting topic, let me in

When I first came here and decided to take part on it, I had to create some user name. As far as my creativity is not so big as I want it to be, I came to this "Banana Republic" nick, which is in fact very related to my home country (one among dozens of southern hemisphere 'banana republics' I would say) cultural colonization history.

The avatar? Well, some fruits shot I took somewhere around, like to prove I really live in an area where those banana trees grow all around :)

Cheers from the banana lands

Salutations,

What a funny way to relax besides vaping...

:D

Egzoset was inspired by some rocket from France and of which the name refers to a flying fish (exocoetus).

Also, that yellow smiley face behind my rocket window happens to be a symbolic representation of myself while aiming for a new horizon called vaporism.

Enough battery swaps and battery-powered chargers, today I'm going back to pictures!

a full bowl
LpXmF.jpg

Turned out to be very sticky, taste was typical hash taste (pretty earthy)
sWkrH.jpg

It was oily but dumped easily enough

It didn't crumble like I thought it would, so it probably has lots of thc still in there

Reloaded for round 2!
bb2Jy.jpg

Didn't dump out so easily this time
lbqqH.jpg

The plate got a bit dirty but not too bad for how resiny it was!
LTWgG.jpg

But instead of cleaning the Pax (because I rarely do) let's try a herbal remedy
ExAa9.jpg

This should get the hash taste out nicely
DKMOY.jpg

Zoom In, this is a nice one!
4tyDH.jpg

Taste was almost as good as flower! much better than the hash
fAOf6.jpg

Abv is milk chocolate, ignore the hair, that came after I dumped the bowl lol

And still the Pax can be cleaned with a paperclip/toothpick/etc.

Let's see a convection vape do that

speaking of which, did you spill the beans, @grokit ?

a stranger surfing you are ;)

 I have, but not in this thread.

Grok means to understand so thoroughly that the observer becomes a part of the observed—to merge, blend, intermarry, lose identity in group experience. It means almost everything that we mean by religion, philosophy, and science—and it means as little to us (because of our Earthling assumptions) as color means to a blind man.

Miriam-Webster: to understand profoundly and intuitively

In usage: The eternal struggle of the human race to grok its place in the grand scheme of the universe.

Origin: coined by Robert A. Heinlein , American author. First Known Use: 1961

As you hinted, it's from my favorite novel, stranger in a strange land.

heinlein was a time traveler, like verne and dick, imo
if only as visionaries.
