Finally all caught up on this thread. Now instead of bothering with an eta for the iris v2, just wondering why v1 was discontinued?

The OMICRON is really a great vape.

Regardless of the button detail these medical devices are very powerful!
^CE4 Tank? What do you have in it? Ive never used pure gold, but I heard it was runny, think it would work outta this type of tank?

Hey THC SCIENTIFIC quick question. There is a ebayer selling the the Hercules sr-71 on eBay for 129.99 flat and he claims he is an authorized dealer. Is this true? If I buy from him can I upgrade my Hercules or send it in under warranty if I ever need to?

Isn't it $115 on the W9 site?

Nice. Hope mine gets here soon...

They send you an email stating it was sent and that you need to be home to sign for the package. If you didn't get this email and its been a while, I suggest you call W9. Happened to me once and my unit wasn't shipped. They overnighted it after I called. Not a big deal, accidents happen. Plus they sent me a free 5ohm cart for the trouble.

PURE GOLD I use from the C-4.
PERSEI, OMICRON or OPHOS.
However I ordered a http://www.w9tech.com/k-i-s-s-cart/
CO2 Oil, PURE GOLD or runny concentrates I will use the K-i-s-s cart.

For {WAXES; SHATTER; FULL MELT; HASH; POLLEN PELLETS} = HERCULES SR71

I use the 2.4 carts for everyday HONEY COMB (BLONDE)
SHATTER the HERCULES SR71 works the BEST!

The WHITE ROD for the HERCULES in my case.

For FLOWERS the BENDER is what I use in the W9 TECH line up!

Let me know how those runny oils work with the kiss. I'd think they wouldn't work as well as more stable stuff like wax or shatter.

Cool. Thanks for the info. How long after they signed for what you sent until you rec'd an email back? I haven't gotten an email yet, but I don't want to be unrealistic ya know? I do think I am starting to hear voices from not having my Herc running though...

They got the dead top Friday. I got my replacement the following Thursday. Got the email from them on Tuesday or some such thing.

Diagnosed with level 11 G.A.S.
AS G stated they do repairs on Tuesday and Thursday I believe. If they get it the day before and their workload is OK to complete in a day it goes out... Workload is dynamic day by day with all us SR-71 users...

It wasn't. There only ever were going to be 100 of them made before upgrades. We're waiting on the design changes and testing for V2 release.

The originals have some things worth correcting, like 'underflowing'. That is if you step the voltage down one step too far it goes to full blast. It can take some time to learn to watch carefully pushing the down button. It's also prone to putting power out when you don't expect it (like shutting down?), I don't recall that one myself since I put it up early on. Or my favorite 'quirk', it can randomly put out full blast it seems, mine 'ate' 3 'brand new' 2.4 Ohm carts (at about 3.3 Volts, my favorite level....) without warning in short order (one has both heaters blown, unique in my experience). Losing 3 in a few weeks was enough for me.

Hopefully all the issues in V1 will be addressed in V2.

Anyway, not discontinued, it's scheduled.

Greetings,

First and foremost, let me say congratulations on your recent innovations, I gotta say the SR71 looks like a dream and I really want to get my hands on the KISS carts!!! I've owned numerous "pen-style or portable vaporizers" most of which functioned beneath advertised standards and the electrical/structural integrity was almost always suspect, except for the TMV Revolution. I was fortunate enough to try the Omicron V2.5 yesterday at a local dispensary and all I can say is WOW! I've done extensive research on these forums and have a couple lingering questions I was hoping you guys could answer...

I'm torn between the Omicron and the Persei and the related attachments. The product will be used primarily for home use and occasional mobile use at a movie or concert so stealth is a factor I'm concerned about. The omicron appears skinnier but not significantly shorter the the Persei. I also am an avid snowboarder and want to make sure the devices can handle bouncing and shaking, perhaps the omicron would be better suited for such activities?

In terms of attachments, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it appear with the HVD kit for the omicron you can run essentially any cartridge you guys produce including the SR71. With this attachment you also have the option of running a "mini" omicron, what ohm cartridges will this shortened version be able to support? Will the Persei SS kit be able to support a wider array of cartridges then the mini HVD omicron?

How much concentrate can be loaded into the SR71 cart, enough to last through a day of two man consumption while snowboarding? I think the original 2.4 carts will work great for all day adventures but will the SR71 accomplish that as well?

Thanks for bearing with the questions. I feel like bits and pieces of this information is floating around through various posts but I can't seem to pull it all together!

Copy That. I fell in love with the thought of a VV on a persei:love:. I was searching on where to purchase a v1, but couldn't find any so I assumed they were just out of production. I will continue to wait patiently for v2:rolleyes:.

Yeah. I think they're CE4's? Really common for ecig juice, the viscosity of PG is thin enough that it wicks up.

Yeah. I think they're CE4's? Really common for ecig juice, PG just happens to be viscous enough that it wicks up.

True enough with one minor quibble, "viscous" means 'thick, nearly solid'. Look it up.......

I think you meant something like '....thin enough to get wicked up'?

For boating or skiing the 2.4 carts! Heavy medication =
Hercules SR71

2.4 good yield
HERCULES SR71 less yield larger dosage!

Are the KISS carts in stock, shipping within 24 hours? And what is the difference between their Omicron 2.x or Persei options?

Hello FC members,

The KISS cart seems very cool but i don't understand the main difference (in design) with the 'standard' cartdriges of the Persei ? Can you explain in a few words ? Thanks !

Ha, one word.
Its load as you go, only holds ***(pure guess here) a hit or a few hits, not load AND go.

Cartridges have bigger capacity and store more oil in there, KISS holds dab-sized amounts similarly to Dr Dabber, VB Dabbler, etc.
