Less than 24 hours and I'll have a Cloud+. I hope it will work with the Itza piece I have! :science:
Heads up...having opened my dead cloud plus, it appears to me that the failure was related to excessive temps melting the leads as they attached to the heater. mostly i used it at noon or two at the most. several times left it on until the outsde was too hot to touch. godonlyknows how hot it was getting inside. It was never dropped. The only conclusion I can come up with is that it was an excessive heat related issue.

Thanks for the knowledge. I am aware of the issues. I also believe it could be caused by lots of heating cycles. I may invest in the WeMo plug that's been discussed.

You know what would take the cloud to the next level? Titanium ELBS.
I agree and believe they would improve the taste for some (me), but not everyone.
Seriously though, titanium ELB's. How do we make it happen? I know they are obviously far too busy right now, but SM what do we have to do to make this happen? I'd buy a bunch for sure.
With enough buyers interested, I'm sure they'd make it happen... just need to find out how many would be willing to pay the hefty price of Titanium. A Ti ELB shouldn't take much of their time because they have the specs, they would just need to see what it will cost to have made.

@stonemonkey55 sir, Could you please look into getting some Titanium ELB's made for us? A batch of 100 maybe, and then let us know what our cost would be. I would buy at least 2... even if they were incredibly expensive. Thank you.

Great Scott!
I run my plus model on max temp for several hours everyday, hope it doesnt fail me *crosses fingers*

My ticker rarely needed to be run at 12:00, almost never much higher than that. Lasted forever and is still going strong. Its being used by someone who has fucked up lungs and really shouldn't be combusting. It took my cloud to make him stop.

I like what grokit says. I really dig the glass ELB option. With the release of glass ELBs you can take that little asterisk off "all glass airpath." :D Also they would obviously provide a very clean taste, and are durable in regard to the fact that they won't get bent out of place (but don't drop them on the kitchen floor!).

I think the idea may be explored in the future because I thought I saw SM mention they would eventually look into the feasibility of glass ELBs.

Cloud+ is in my possession. Works nicely with the Itza but I think it's too much tube. I have smaller options that will hopefully work. It works quite nicely I must say.

Btw, it took me 10 mins to type all this. That's gotta be a good sign, right?:whoa:

The stainless steel bowl is the only true flaw in the system. Which leaves room for even more purefection in the future.

Hmm how about this for a mod: Make a female to female 18mm adapter that has a glass screen in the connecting centerpiece. Then Make a male to male 18mm with a similar glass screen in the connecting centerpiece. If you could make the 18mm's that intersect with glass screens shorter that would be sick. OR, make the glass screen halfway down one of the male sockets for a closer sandwich.

Of course the main problem being that this performs best with fine grind. Still, with a mod you could just use it when you want to really taste a choice nug.

I wonder if I can talk Colie into making one for me...

That's exactly how I feel when I received mine and used it the first time :freak: lmao

The cloud has done the unthinkable...
After owning it for three weeks I haven't touched any vapes except the solo. This includes the lsv which was my daily driver for months.
To me the cloud gives a completely different high.
I love it :ko:
Seriously I can't describe how awesome this vaporizer is
I use it mainly in my apix showerhead and that bad boy pumps the vapors out
What's your favorite load size ? I'm lovin the 1/5-1/4 size

I'm a lightweight so i might have loaded a 1/6th of the elb. After the PD and the Pax, I'm not used to the wide open draw this thing has. Might take a little getting used to. I set the dial at 10. Gonna try lower next time around.

Quick question to all the Cloud users......Do you try to keep it on 24/7 or cycle it on and off as needed?

Why would people keep it on so long? With all the vapes I've used, they're on for a 20 min vape session then turned off. Keeping it on is peculiar to me.. especially leaving it on max for several hours like that one guy a few posts back said.

edit --- answer is probably because these take a little while to fully heat up.

My thinking is that the thermal cycles will break down internal components over time.

We're here to fuck shit up.
Log vapes can be left on constantly. I turn my LSV on in the morning and don't turn it off until I go to bed. I've had my Volcano on for days at a time. Certain vapes can be left on and certain vapes are made to be left on like logs.

i meant the Cloud in particular. To be honest, I'm a little concerned about the failures of some of the units.

I leave mine on as long as I'm in the house .. Ready at any moment for its magical warmth and vapors.
Strongly agree with t-dub on the heat, I crank it to three just to let my hands soak it up

^^This

A little fan makes a BIG difference. Best $9 drug store purchase I've ever made.

I turn my Cloud on remotely when I leave work, so it's all ready for me when I get home. It is the last thing I turn off at night. On weekends it's on t-dub mode. If I'm awake, it's on.

:peace:
