Vapes on eBay

is it a good idea to order from ebay or is it best to turn directly to the manufacturer web site?
At least that question says you're asking about brand name models, and not the cheapies where you can't contact the manufacturer. Vape makers and dealers that sell on eBay usually give you a little better deal there. You'll save a few bucks or get free shipping. You should check our dealer discounts though, since they often offer the best deals- http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=334

Good point. Oglesby & Butler (iolite) and Arizer (Extreme) are cracking down on dealers who sell at prices lower than they're supposed to.

I got a Vapor Bros from a questionable seller on eBay about 4 years ago. Lately I took it out and it still worked but the glass was broken and I didn't have any proof of purchase. I asked them what I could do to renew it and they said they would cover it for the normal warranty fee of $35 including shipping and insurance. They replaced all the electrics and gave it a ceramic heater. which was way worth more than $35. Just now I'm trying to do the same deal with a Vaporstore vape and we'll see how it goes.

There are a couple of REPUTABLE vendors who sell their stuff on Ebay. (i.e. Vapeworld)

And there are plenty of knock-off-cheap-made vape sellers there as well. I understand that you are looking for the best price, but take into consideration what others are saying about supporting the product after its reached your doorstep.

You dont always get what you pay for
But you ALWAYS pay for what you get

Well sorry for being vague but I looked at Arizer, Iolite, DBV, Vapor Brothers and another I think can't remember at the moment and at ebay they had either price same as the manufacturer or better, that why I was being general, because it seems that generally talking ebay is the cheapest place to buy, and yea of course if I'm buying only from reputable vendors.

Hey,

I have been trying to find a good vaporizer, and somehow stumbled onto ebay. They have really cheap ones, for around $40 - $50 and just wondering if anyone has tried them. I don't need a high end model but I want the thing to work! Some examples:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Herbal-Vaporize...ltDomain_0?hash=item19b5df8904#ht_3425wt_1165 - $45

http://cgi.ebay.com/Duel-Digital-Ce...ltDomain_0?hash=item27ab0acb95#ht_3519wt_1165 - Dual for $47

They've sold 560 of the first one and 27 of the second. Have good feedback as well.

What do you guys thinks?

I think you get what you pay for, and that is diddly-squat for a good vaporizer. If it were used and being sold for that amount, okay, but new...well, how good could it be.

When I first started shopping for vapes I was interested in the cheap ones for obvious reasons. But when I got on here and started learning about what makes a good vape experience, I went with something good. If you get a shitty vape, you may just get turned off to the best way to enjoy weed.

I think you should just be more blunt Stick.

No, definitely don't get one, stay away from the $50 ebay whip vaporizers.

Spend some time on Fuck Combustion and find a quality model that has a proven track record, you WILL have to spend more money... but in the long run it's a superior investment... investment in durability, effeciency and most importantly health (beware of dodgey toxins in cheap vapes).

My friend got a cheap box unit off ebay and the air-intake wasn't open enough and it was really hard to draw from. He was totally bummed.

If you can get a Launch Box for $77 I'd say do it. My friend has one and he likes it a lot. He says it works even better than his VaporGenie.

A lot more than a couple. Quite a few on-line dealers (and manufacturers) sell on eBay. You get the same product and warranty as you do when buying from vaporstore.com, vapenow.com, gotvape.com, etc., and save a little and/or get some kind of 'extra' with the auction buy.

kinda an old post but i wanna put in my input.

I got my iolite from a seller on ebay. Brand new, in the box, full warranty, newest model as advertized.

Seller lived in ireland where they are made, so I got a great deal. Only $163.01 with shipping to america. My local smoke shop sells them for $230. MSRP is $250.

I don't know what that seller was smoking/vaping but I got a great deal through ebay. Just make sure you read the ads correctly.

There's quite a markup on the iolite, apparently. Your deal is not an exception. I've heard that the company would like to see an end to the lowball pricing though, so we'll see what happens.

We're starting to see some vape makers (Arizer, Zephyr) being more picky about having their products sold through an 'authorized dealer', for pricing and warranty issues both. 7th Floor has been cracking down on dealers selling the SSV and DBV below their chosen price point too. It pays to check with the manufacturer, if warranty coverage is an issue for you. Interestingly enough, Storz & Bickel doesn't seem to care who sells the 'cano, or for how much. At least that was the case the last time I checked with them about an on-line dealer (no longer in business) who was selling them for more than $100 less than the standard $539.

Hey guys,

First of all, congratz to all the members for your website.

Okay so, there's my question.

I never tried vaporizer, I want to buy one. I'm doing research on google since 2-3 days but cannot find my answers. Many say the cheap vapo from ebay suck, some others are saying they bought one and it works fine.

So 2 questions:

1) Should I realy buy one at 150 or not at all?
2) What's the best cheap model on ebay right now on ebay?

Something like this? http://cgi.ebay.ca/EASY-VAPE-DIGITA...emQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2eaaa57703

Thanks in advance!

Im just speaking for myself here, but it seems lots of opinions on this are the same. You get what you pay for with vaporizers. I would stay away from the cheap box and whip vapes and look at something like the vaporgenie (for around $50). Cutting costs when it comes to vaporizers can lead to the inhalation of toxic fumes that is much worse than regular combustion.

The Easy Vape is the one I'd go with for an ultra cheap box vape. It has a 5 yr. warranty when sold by an on-line dealer. But the price there is $150. Since they've started appearing on eBay at $50-60, the 5 yr. warranty seems to be iffy. I would contact the seller and ask what the warranty info and procedure is, since the auction you linked does say that you get printed warranty info. Easy Vape doesn't have a website, so you need to make sure that someone, either the seller or the company, can be contacted for warranty service. If any eBay seller won't give you any info about warranty, I'd move on to another. Plenty of sellers offering this model.

A cheap vape will at least give you a good intro to vapor. Long term, I would want a unit where the vapor path doesn't go through the guts of the vape, something like 7th Floor's DBV, where the path is isolated to the heater tube and heater. But you may not want to spend that much, just to find out that you prefer the more wasted high you get with smoke. Do keep in mind that vapor is a cleaner high. You're not getting a bunch of smoke toxins that smokers believe are all part of the cannabis high.

The Genie is a very simple and reliable portable that will give you some great hits, but since we're talking safety, any vape that works best with a regular lighter, and is designed to suck the flame into the heating chamber, will give you some partially burned carbon (soot). Whether you're better off with a soot producer, or a box with unknown internal components... , but it's something to consider.

I believe that the easy vape is a good starter vape but I do not believe it is representative of the other higher quality vapes in its category though. So if you want to spend a little to learn if you like it or not I say its a good deal and its common to see where people used the easy vape as a stepping stone so to speak but I am also sure their are people very happy with their easy vape and look no further.

I would recommend to a search on the easy vape and see what people are really saying it about so you understand what to expect better from it.

Thanks guys, well, I don't want something looking like a classic bowl and using flame (vaporgenie), so I decided to buy the easy vape, the guy on ebay has 100% positive comments and is mainly selling only vape, with almost 600 sells.

I hope everything will work good, it cost me 70$, not that bad. I'll update u once I tried it!

If he was selling the Sphere at that price I'd at least try to buy it. He may not be willing to ship out of the country.

french people aren't much interested about vaporizers
Hopefully that will change over time. Maybe you'll be able to enlighten a few people with your Purple Days. ;)
i have a place in France , there is a small part of Burgundy that vapes;)

You have a place ? or you live in France ?? :D

Amongst my 20 or so friends that tried (the volacno mainly), one bought an Iolite, and 5 are considering buying some vapes.
So there is definitely a small part of Paris that vape to.

The big thing is, there is only a couple good vapes on the french market.

....I should get paid by vapes company because I advertise so much vapes around me. :brow:

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum.

I'm about to buy a vaporizer and I saw on eBay the HerbalAire 2.1 at $189.99 when in other places its $249.99

Is it safe buy or is some sort of scam? Why so much cheaper?
