Discontinued The Sublimator

I found a good use for my new oilsick pad, now when I go to dump the load, I can wipe the end of the downstem on the slick pad to grab that bit of oil that forms on the very end, that usually gets smeared across the glass when I go to put it back in my piece. Then I can just collect it off the slick pad for dabbing :)

Doesn't it have a 10 year warranty?
10 years on the metal parts 1 year no timer 2 years with timer on the heating element and electrical

Do you mean 1h30m? I think that would work better.

No you never promoted the override, other people here pointed it out. It's the first time I've heard that it shouldn't be left on continuously though. Is there any chance you could include info like this on the website to make it easy to find especially for those not on FC? Most people are figuring out how to use/maintain it on their own so I think it would be helpful to at least have some guidelines (do's and don'ts) and tips for cleaning.

you are completely totally right about that but i promisse i am on it

Expand the box, he's on the usage guidelines/do's and don'ts.

I just used the ascent to try straight keif out of the jar, and it failed to do anything but turn the keif into lower-potency hash. But then I flattened that hash out into a pancake and subbed it.

It turned out to be a pretty nice salvage job!:science:

My sub hooked up to my kill a watt on max temp pulls 60 watts. I know a few other people on this forum have this range while others max out around 45 watts? Those people that have a sub that pulls 60 watts, what watt range to you use for flowers and concentrates. I like around 35-40 for flowers and 45-50 for concentrates, does that seem normal with everyone else or a little high?

Hi Enrico, welcome. Your enthusiasm is deserved, I see them vids read this forum. The name sold me. I'm gifting the volcano digit to my mate now. You made the ultimate vape I can see. I bought your limited ed one from pv and I cannot wait for it. Maybe this will help my brain switch off at night... Too busy designing my ebike universal kit.... My mind won't sleep till 4:30 am! Even combustion did not work any more. Minivap tweaked to run hot does just slow my mind if I hit it over and over.

I love the honey reclaim.. No wastage if I can hold a hit for 15-30 secs, I do with Mflb and minivap( if not to vigorous on draw).

I'll get the UFO next when I go fly camping with a paramotor that would make a nice starry night heavenly after being sober and high like an eagle during flight times... Just get a taxi to edge of city and fly away..

Keep it up you are great, we need ones who look outside the box.. And now I can post pics! So I can share my experience with all.. PV guys upgraded my shipping to air, they are great.. So I'll sub when night comes on the day I get this baby

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!

SubBuddy reclaimers should be available this weekend-early next week as well as Sublimator apparel, t-shirts, hats etc.

Peace and Love,
PV

Knock-Knock... HELLO ?!!? * You know I'm a stalker right ?

PS: More talk and upcoming release dates on your PV sub specific whip tube would be greatly appreciated as I'm getting fed up using pieces that fall over and not up to the task while patiently (really really hard for me), for this release !

Hmm... lemme check.

Nope, didn't cough :science:

:dog:

edit: here's a picture of my new accidental screen setup:

SANY0161.JPG

As the result of a happy mishap. I grabbed the closest screens around, which were from the gvb maintenance kit. I dropped a couple in for smoking keif and whoa :whoa:,
I can hardly fucking type. The screens dropped out the first couple of dumps, but now they stay in like the ss grill below. Good thing I just cleaned it.
I'm fucking super-subbed, it's a keif machine now!
alway's was an everything machine but i had to keep my claims in cheek...lol

Serious cleaning today took apart the atomizer, it was really easy to do just heat it up and use pliers or rubber oven mitts. Soaked it in iso then evaporated it off, I had about three dabs worth after it was done. Obviously had to clean my mobius and buddy as well before facing all three dabs. It was a great day to say the least.

I still can't say I am a fan of the flavour on this unit. Love the effect...but with the conduction, there is always that cooked taste in the background, I find.

But boy, what a punch in the head :ko:
I find the same thing ... I think the Sub wins out "slightly" over the Cloud on the smoothness factor relative to size of hit, however, the taste from the Cloud is far superior IMHO.

Tried the Solo for the first time in weeks today - it just does not hit the same spot and push the right buttons...
Welcome to "searching for a big hitting portable hell"!

Since getting onto the Cloud bandwagon (and Sublimator now as well ... my 2 only used desktop vapes now ...) I've been on a mad hunt for the perfect portable ... I buy them all! (most anyways :)) ... only one to stand up in reality is the MiniVAP.

G'damn Minivap, for what I've spent on portables I could have one.

Maybe when that new smaller battery comes out...

Hey guys, anyone know the diameter/size of silicone tubing I would need to order from PV to replace the whip on the Sub LE kit? I thought I saw it mentioned somewhere but can't find the posting.
Thanks!

I've been breaking out the whole collection over the last few days. The different vape sigs really keep my tolerance on its toes and I get a great high when hitting one I haven't tried in a while.

And I'm digging putting my Sub stained cotton in my portables for nightcaps.

Planetvape now has the Mercury Kit in stock. Here's the link https://www.planetvape.ca/sublimator-mercury-kit.html There is no pic of it. : (
It looks like that price is for a full kit. At the bottom of the screen it says the following items are included:
  • (1) Original and Authentic Surgical Stainless Steel Sublimator UFO
  • (1) Stainless Steel Sublimator Screen
  • (1) Original and Authentic Surgical Stainless Steel Sublimator 14mm Atomizer
  • (1) Clear Mini Tube
  • (1) Launchpad (Tube Base)
  • (1) Tube Cap with tubing and mouthpiece
A few pics would be nice but seems like a complete kit.
