I love concentrates!

I have PERSEI set ups as my main drivers (concentrates) however my PHOS and OMNICRON are very functional devices I use between FLOWER sessions. For boating I all take the OMNICRON around.

2.5 OMINCRON fit and finish is complete luxury!
If money is tight a OPHOS is the ticket.
I had some cheap EPENS I have since given away once I got the smaller devices.
The 2.4 carts work great for me.
Some like the 1.5's!


W9 Tech Gear for concentrates are so medicating!

When I go boating chasing whales I have a OMNICRON loaded and functioning stealthy and no one knows.
So to me the WHALE TAIL is what I see when I'm boating.
The OMNICRON helps me to succeed finding creatures of this size!

I enjoy success!

And laying off the herb is not possible!

Does the Core Unit contain its own power source ( internal ) ,or does it rely on AC/DC only ?/?

No, it does not. I needs either 12 VDC (at about 4 Amps) directly or made from 'wall power' to work. It's a battery eliminator, a substitute not a different type of battery as I understand it.

It's like the MFLB PA if you know that one?

Thankyou for the input ~ if this is the case ,me would rather try the ULTRAFIRE 's first to see if the power is ample

before investing in redendant gear

The pics & description raise 2 questions here if you don't mind (answers leading to more questions, of course!) - can The Core itself be powered thru USB for portability and convenience, such as a USB port on a car, laptop, PS3, etc.? Also this seems to appear to be a stand-alone desktop unit as opposed to an attachment that screws on where the battery would go, is this also correct? Thanks in advance!!

This is a power source for the Persei and Omicron they will use this piece instead of the batteries to convert your unit to a plugged in mode. Once again this is a prototype the actual place where it will be used to connect is on the bottom not from the side.

The USB is for charging other devices and or acting as a pass through for the Omicron Lite and O-Phos line. It can not be used to power the Core.

Initially I had thought incorrectly The Core was simply a USB passthru being developed for Omi/Persei similarly to Omi Lite and O-Phos, but I now see how it's different & wall-powered.

Dont get me wrong you can turn it on from your car, but its not gonna be through a USB port, you would need the lighter port for that to work.

Very good point =) Hahah This gave me flashbacks of when I would use a VB box unit in the car with a lighter port power adapter! This seems way more sleek, what with the backlit display and all.

I recently ordered some efest 14650 batteries to try out in my Omicron running a ce4, and I have to say they perform better than the standard batteries do. Has anyone else tried these?

Update For Omicron SR71 Edition for oils.

There simply is no way for this technology to be used on a small battery like the 14650 or even the 14500 AW IMR batteries. It works like a dream on the core at 3.7v but not on batteries.

Ok but on the other side, if we take the oil coil out, put herb in it and some oil in layers like:

Herb oil herb oil herb oil herb oil

It does do a nice vapor production.

Sorry to Say the 3.7v SR71 Oil version is only for 18650 Batteries and or with the Core


Recap.

Omicron SR 71 for oils on batteries: No

Omicron Sr 71 for Herbs on batteries: yes

Omicron SR 71 for herbs and oils no oil coil on batteries : Yes

Having a real hard time getting the cartridges to work, so i decided to stop trying with wax. Since I dont want to waste my omicron, I want to get the original Hercules for the 3.7 for loose leaf only. Does anyone have any experience with this? I just want to use herbs. This is with the Omicron V2. Hows the high? Is it better than just smoking a bowl? I dont want to just stop using my omicron since i paid for it but wax seems to be too much of hassle. How long does the battery last when using the omicron V2 with the original Hercules? Do you usually use less weed when vaping compared to smoke to get desired effects? Also how fine should i grind my herbs to use with the Hercules ? Again this is the original one.

Yes, Vitolo does. Search for posts with the word "Herc" from user Vitolo. He has videos showing it's use.

No one will be able to answer this question as it is different for everyone. Personally I found vaping flower did not have enough effect on me (not like smoking a bowl). I find vaping oil to be much more what I am looking for.

Personally I find I use more, but that is counter to what many (most?) people say. Also I have yet to use the ABV which should still have some good stuff left in it.

Again, IME, a finer grind tends to vape better, you want a lot of surface area for the heat to affect. Others may not agree and may be device dependent.

Hey guys!
I haven't check the forums in a while but decided to check in and noticed some new interesting changes.
Guess I missed a discount just a week off haha.
I've previously purchased the Hercules for the 3.7v a few months ago for just herbs I believe, before they redid the heater(not sure if they did that yet or what) but I noticed a new type of Hercules so I was wondering if I could exchange it or upgrade? I have the Omicron 2.5 as well as the 7.4 so I just wanted to know what would be best for me for vaping herbs/oils, would I also need to purchase the Core if I wanted to do both? To my understanding, I think the Core is like another top that replaces the 3.7/HVD top? I'm just tired so I'm a little unclear, I'll make sure to read it again later haha.
If not both herbs and oils, I'd rather focus on oils more, so if someone could lead me in the right direction so I won't have to purchase 5 cartridges that I toss after a few grams each, that'd be great!
