Arizer Solo

It's a display for W9 Tech products like the PERSEI and OMNICRON.
The wood does look like Mahogany however is an exotic called PAROTA.

Nice.

I have a 10" disk of mahogany on the lathe now. The idea is to turn it and cut out several dabber holders. Each one should hold 3-4 at about a 7' angle.

You can't order just one thing...PA, Gong, PVHES
You can get orings at mcmasters and some other place I can't remember. Just get high temp, I think they are to 450 degrees, and number 113 IIRC. Search for OF's posts on this matter and it will have the link and answer to double check me.

Thank you kind sir!

So I see need to place an order for more than $10. If I'm just using the basic stem and Solo right now, what ONE accessory would you guys order from that site?

From my experience between PVHES or Gong I personally would choose the Gong because it can still be used as a stem dry. I prefer the airflow on the PVHES and Gong but others are more than happy with the stock stem.

As for the PA, I suggest you look back over the last bunch of pages of the thread and you might be able to find a better option out there if it is still available.

So forgive me, I'm not too familiar with the accessories and add-ons for the Solo. Is there anything off that site I can get that's just a regular stem? I see you say the gong can work as that, but those are add-ons for another type of stem or what? Sorry if I'm wording this like a moron, I just put my Solo down lol.

And also, what is PA?

Hey guys,

So that o-ring that was sent to me is absolutely phenomenal. I love it. Makes the stems fit so nice.

Is there anywhere I can order a batch of these from? Amazon or something? If someone can show me where, I would greatly appreciate it fellow vapers.

Yes, as the ever charming (and so often dead right) Dreamer said, M/C sells 'em. That's where I got mine:
http://www.mcmaster.com/#o-rings/=o31eci

The secret words here are "standard size 113, high temperature Silicone rubber rings".

Back at 4/20 I gave out a couple dozen (modest) supplies to Forum Members as my own little private 4/20 celebration and ran my supply out. I split another order with another guy so have some to spare again.

PM me your name and address and I'll mail you a few.

Planet Vape (and others) sell the factory stems as well as custom High Output and GonG ones. And there's the custom wood ones from Ed. In those cases they substitute for the factory straight or bent one.

PA is a Power Adapter, a scheme for powering your unit from 'wall power' (at least 80% of it....), saving the battery charge for cordless use. The maker sells one (PV carries them), I've suggested a lower price alternative from Jameco 'some of the guys' are quite happy with. I also designed a simple outboard regulator to reduce 12 VDC to about 8 for this function. Pipes and Tim are right now feverishly trying to get those into owner's hands as well.

Hey folks. I was wondering if the arizer warranty is worth waiting for. I can either order a solo from the massdrop, and wait about two weeks for it, or drive out to a local retail shop to pick one up for $119, but I doubt arizer will claim warranty responsibilities.

Any longer term issues with the solos batteries or heating element? I thought the massdrop was a godsend, until I realized how long it would be till they ship it out. I just can't wait any longer! Lol

For $119? Really? That's cheap!
At that price forget the warranty!

Can't help but feel like there's some ulterior motive to this post. But I'll just let it be. If this retail outlet exists is selling Solos for $119... as ataxian said: go for it. I haven't seen it anywhere near that cheap in shops.

Was hesitant about where to buy Solo since it was going to pop up on MassDrop but I was too excited and decided to order one off eBay for 128$ and ended up only 119$ at MassDrop. Lucked out there.

Is it possible to connect a whip over the PVHES Straight Stem and use it as a whip? If so, what size do I need to get the silicon tubing?

Does anyone know the best method to scrape the oil off the bent stems? I know you can use isopropyl or boiling milk but I would prefer to scrape it and use it for hash

Massdrop belongs in the new thread people. We don't want to hear that and the price is not 119 cause you have to adds shipping FYI which I believe is ten buck so it is 139 so for 160 you get great service from out vendor which would be my choice for 20 bucks more.

Now back to the solo.

Hey bud, I don't know if anyones answered you. PA is Penns.....Only kidding - it's a power adapter. What were you referring to as far as the GonG connection? I'm not sure I understand your question.

 If you're scraping for oil, you're not scraping for hash...are you???
Straight stems u can scrape or use cotton. Bent stems cotton only.
Not really sure what's best for stem scraping. Suggestions welcome!

There is a method of making hash where you use stem oil and crumbled abv. The problem I have with using cotton is then all I can do is vape the cotton ball... as far as scraping goes you can use a wooden skewer to break up the oil then shake it out, or use a flathead screwdriver.
@ataxian how much did you pay for that bubbler?! It looks perfect for the solo

That really sounds like a good combination!. ABV mixed-in to bulk up the consistency could make for a very Solo friendly cocktail:spliff:

I use sherlocks with a ashcatcher the most.
The BLACK LEAF bubbler from PLANET VAPES works with all my vapes.
$69.00!

I want a nice piece of glass however $400 for the one I want would not be financially responsible.
So I have a bunch of cheap glass however it gets the job done!

I didnt notice it was a ashcatcher, that's a great idea! Do you find that you can get milky rips off it? I was planning to get a fbomb but I might just save a ton of money and go to my lhs to buy a ashcatcher
