I respectfully disagree. This is a forum for vaping and vapes, it is only natural that vaping companies would want to start the hype at the heart of their audience. Go to other forums though, and other companies do very well the same thing. Same with backing Kickstarter and such, people are now given info from the start of production, and given updates along the way. They just don't keep delaying their products, and when they do, they tell you when it will come out.
But don't worry, because we can get a regular davinci on sale as apologies, because buying a different vaporizer while waiting for a different vape to come out sounds logical. Here have more money for making me wait. Sorry for the rant but, if other companies did this, companies that aren't supplying a product we are craving, I don't think consumers would give the product a second-look.

I believe DV has been very upfront about taking on their own manufacturing rather than outsourcing to China like most vape manufacturers. This in itself is enough for me to wait. I'm tired of sending my money where there are no regulations and in many cases no quality control. DV is probably experiencing quite a few unexpected growing pains.

Patience is a virtue...

Wow, thanks for the advice I didn't think about moving onto another vape...:hmm:

I don't find having their own manufacturer justify the delays, but if people make delays seem ok then why not just hype the product for even longer?

Why do people pre-order or believe vape companies release dates? They are NEVER accurate. EVER. And yet, after being burned multiple times, people STILL pre-order and believe release dates. Then when the companies don't deliver, they start whining how they can't believe that yet another company has had their money for months or that a release date has changed at least a dozen times.

Here's the solution:

1. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY BEFORE A PRODUCT IS READY
2. DEMAND REFUNDS FROM PRE-ORDERS

And most importantly: Never believe release dates and never pre-order!

We are making improvements every day and the same vendors were not used for DaVinci as for Ascent. Totally different build materials all together.

I don't know... It sounds to me like DV built the factory from the ground up. I am not sure where their factory is...

Lulz my roommate is still overly skeptical that this thing will even work. He's still stuck on burning and once in a blue moon using his Classic Volcano. Any thoughts on Volcano vs. Ascent? :)

That's THR's Edit. He put it together for us here at FC because everyone wanted to see it through some water (Thanks THR). It was just a quick vid. His full review is tip top in my opinion.

THR 'S Videos are always high quality and informative. I think he did a great job with his Ascent videos. I for one appreciate all the time and effort he put forth to produce the Ascent reviews!! Who cares what music is in the background of the vid. WTF....Some people like hip hop and rap, some like country or classic rock, some like techno or 80s shit. Who the fuck cares!!! It's all good!!

I think the problem was more with the lyrics than the genre.

Ya ez-vapes says there being sent out this week to distributers from DV and got vape says some time this month but I figure the clasp would be a easy quick fix.
I hope it is this week my pinnacle caved I used the shit out of it and put it to rest.
Next, I guess I'm using either my pax, davinci, cera, solo, vb2.0 for the next few weeks until DV releases this new revolutionary vaporizer.
Lets get this thing n the go shall we.

I agree an update would be great.. If it helps I spoke to ezvape and they said they are planning to ship out before the end of the month but would not give me a date... Unfortunately it doesn't seem like we are going to get any help on this question. I guess it will be ready when its ready :( can't wait thought.
