Breaking news : The Hermes Medical team is currently working on a new heat exchanger, researching on the pressure drop factor to give an even more free air flow to the user.

Less efforts, more vapor. I'm so glad I was with the firsts to jump on this device. Seeing what the machine actually does, I wonder how awesome it's going to get after all that good stuff has been implemented

well I'll start ordering those lung expansion caps now:p I mean even more airflow and denser vapor...

If there was one thing I would love to see is a quicker 'build-up' of vapor, meaning sometimes it takes just that wee bit too long for my lungs to fill my waterpiece and then clear it. So if this translates into even denser vapor while drawing speed can be slowed down a bit...funny how with the solo I experienced the opposite 'problem' (if you can call it that, because yes, with the restricted draw from the solo it is, but the MINIVap is just showing me who is boss, and my lungs need more practice to beat it :ninja: )

I am more then happy with my MINIVap too. And am more then confident that they still have some more good things in store for us.

do you have any more info, or a link, about the pressure drop factor. i've wondered about this myself -- that is, how much pressure drop is needed to make a detectable difference in vapor density.

They just said they are testing new exchangers with a different pressure drop, and there should be less effort needed to inhale as a result of the researches. That's good to know something already awesome is going to be even more awesome.

hello fellow minivapers-
had a small issue i thought I would pass along.
Last weekend my unit was heating up, but not giving much vapor at all. I checked, battery status was green.
When I got home, i connected directly to ac power and it heated up very quickly. Re-attached the battery and now status shows red.
So it seems the battery life LEDs are incorrect sometimes. When in doubt charge her back up. This sounds obvious, but it threw me for a little bit. :)

Lol, one thing is sure. Its gonna be long :) At least I can hope to be one of the firsts to get one. Its going to be a collaboration with delicatessen glass, the guys who fixed my mobius. Its a small world.

ahah, cannabis bringing france and spain together. it's almost poetic, hahaha. :D

Do you think it's gonna replace this miniVAP or it's gonna be a different line of vaporizers and their keeping this one?

I'm eager to know more about it :) I think we don't have to worry about this, I'm sure they will handle the integration very professionally as usual. My worry is, it takes time to reach their level of quality in a process

Sounds okay, but to be honest, i prefer the teflon over the glass...my solo stems after a while of using them never got really clean again, and I cleaned them a lot...

Also the glass will bring in some kind of 'fragility' that i now do not see. i mean, now i can literally throw the thing in my backpack(not that i throw it, but you get the point), if glass is implemented I would have to be more carefull with it.

Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that they are developing this thing even more, but sometimes there is no need to change to many things :2c:

And the added temperature selections would be a great add-on...have been looking into vaping different herbs and noticed a lot of them have vaping temp of 150degrees C...so an option to add this temperature to the range of temps available wil be great...

Just when I thought I had all the vaporizer I needed :rolleyes: Thanks Roger for bringing us up to speed with this. Keep us posted because Slide will not. I am glad you are on board this with me. You seem to have better contacts then I do.

Is Spanish you native language?

spanish is not my main language but is very simiilar to portuguese which is, and i have some experience with the language, so from what i understood in the fifth post , its says the following
-they are planning a massive send to all users of the bowl and cone that roger d has, for this week
- for the last trimester they plan to launch a version where the teflon in the vaporizing chambrr is replaced by glass, making an all glass pathway
- also for the last trimester with the cooperation of delicatessen glass they plan to launch an accessory of about 50 cm that attaches on the top of the unit like a borosilacte bubbler
- last they plan for autumn an software update that makes to red setting (225c) in 5 minutes and ampliates the range of settings from 4 to 7, going from 180c to 250c
on other post ahead they say the smaller battery should be up for next year only
hope i helped to clear up this a bit

hmm, I just hope they make the lowest temp 150degress C...that would make it possible to vape straigth up tobacco and a whole range of other more medicinal herbs...and vaping tobacco is just so people that use have a healthier alternative then smoking it...

Good to hear everyone will be enjoying the new cone soonish:)

and ths water thingy sounds intriguing...was brainstorming yesterday with a friend how nice it would be to get a sort of hydratube going on for it...
