Sorry to hear about the problem pinnacle, you'll need to go through got vape. Let me know if you have any issues.

On another note, I have a pinnacle pro in my hands( with new black Pong and MP) hoping this is the one.

good to see the Pro is still coming along and i'm loving the green lights instead of blue :clap:

is the Pro just capable of higher temps, or did the bullet design get modified to allow oils/waxes ?

Right now it is just a pinnacle that has five heat settings from 360-435. It works while charging, and it has black mp's. that said, it's pretty damn impressive. Oils are unlikely, but I sandwiched wax and keif today and had great results. I'm going to play with this for the weekend, and if I like it I'm gonna go kick it with UU&A to see if he likes it. Stay tuned...

Well, the two main things I wanted to see in a Pro model were ability to use while charging and more temp settings. Being a big fan of the present Pinnacle, here's my :2c: for the Pro model:

1. Ability to use while charging, CHECK!
2. If possible, 60 minute battery life on the highest setting.
3. Slightly increased airflow. It's already good, but increasing the size/number of intake holes could compensate for the tendency of herb to occasionally fly up to the top of the bullet, which ends up decreasing airflow a bit.
4. Increased # of temp. settings, CHECK

My :2c: on the 5 temp settings:

1. 350
2. 370
3. 390
4. 410
5. 430

The lowest temp suggestion (350) for the Pro is 20 degrees lower than the Pinnacle's present "low" temp setting. I find that the present 370 and 390 degree temps work well so I included them. The 410 and 430 settings would be more than adequate to release even the high temp cannabinoids, especially the ones for pain.

see , we're only two and we already dont agree :p
thats why you need to put a digital screen. its simple to replace your leds by a screen with 2 button for up down. that would be something i would call a "pro" and buy.

Good idea. Perhaps the button on my Pinnacle is a bit different. It's a bit recessed so it would be REALLY difficult for it to turn on accidentally.

Francis, the settings could just as easily be 325, 350, 375, 400 and 425. I just don't know how much vapor the Pinnacle could produce on the lowest setting of 325, but I'm more of a high temp vapist....what do I know?

yeah.
i just did a bag on 400 , its a bit harsher but the effects are more intense.
anyway the fact that they plan to use more that 2 presets is good !

And also a battery life/charging indicator. I assume that could be done with the 5 lights...kinda like the VB2.

Faster heat up time and fixing the button so it can't be depressed so easily. For me the temps are fine but I am unusual. Longer usage time would be good as well but since I use on low I am doing ok with that too.

even though I have the pinnacle, I love it so much I would still buy the pro for sure, I use it mainly at home so using it while charging I really wish I had. I would like the higher temps as well, although very satisfied with the current temps of the pinnacle I can definitely see myself going 1 step hotter on the pro! Looks great, I am also digging the green lights.
I haven't done any testing with Anker battery to see how well it charges the pinnacle, I can only say the plug fit and it seemed to be charging fine, I haven't tried using the anker to charge pinnacle fully, then see how many cycles I get from pinnacle, so one of these days/nights I must try cause if pro works while charging.....and if Anker works well to charge it....:hmm:

Did this happen to you after charging from the battery pack or the normal charger?

I'm going to open a new thread for pinnacle pro on Monday after I've broken in my new unit. I will also post a picture of a new WT we have coming soon for pinnacle sometime today. Things are looking good....

Here is the ABV from a session where I started at 2 and took it all the way up to five, moving each level after 3 hits. In all, about 18 hits. It was sandwiched with keif, and I vaped it through a 8arm wubbler
