I would definitely be interested in getting one of those for $10 especially if the shipping costs are reasonable.
Butt, I am however somewhat foggy on where exactly this is placed? is this going over the core in the same fashion as the TET mouthpiece?
It would take the place of these two pieces and natively mate with the Cera

Isn't the original cera mouthpiece a unique piece by itself? ( haven't tried cera yet but hopefully soon :)) I mean doesn't it have its own qualities such as built in type screen, wont leak when upside down , wipe clean, etc... Besides the warm mouthpiece, why mod it. Won't that just add more unwanted length to it? Does anyone on here enjoy using the CERA as is without any mods? Just wondering.....

Ordered March 27th and just got a shipping notification today! LMAO! I have been busy preparing for my cera's birth. I have my new baby a great mobile case and a few other goodies. So glad there was virtually no wait.

I am pretty damn impressed with TET thus far. If you have not yet ordered because of worries of ending up on a back-order list —FORGET ABOUT IT — The time to order is now.
Bummer ..... I'm still waiting on my feb 18th order....... You must have ordered the stainless steel? I was told the Ti will resume shipping this week...... If all is good ill have mine soon :)

The standard Cera mouthpiece is a very cool piece that does a superb job at filtering, cooling, and collecting easily harvested reclaim. I'm a big fan of it. Some feel that it restricts the airflow too much, though. That's why you see all these modded mouthpieces people have come up with; to increase airflow.

That is what I am getting for home base. A very nice case.

Good call, IMO. Remember, when the time comes it was built to travel.....keeping monster stogies safe. Top notch gear, IMO, Cera fits in well and travels in good company.

Best wishes.

I agree with you on all counts. TV could have done many other things much easier but for reasons I think most appreciate they did what they did. Many of them you just named, so at least a few others think they have value or you'd not have heard them?

Yes, I think most owners are quite happy with the design. However it's in the nature of owners of such stuff to modify and second guess things....a good thing I think. But I also think a large part of them will come back to the design offered after all the testing TV did. Special cases will call for different solutions, of course, which is also IMO part of the strength of Cera. That stuff is easy to do and reverse.

I strongly suggest you fully test it as shipped before you start hacking into it.

Your call, of course, you're likely to enjoy it no matter.

I ordered on 3/20. Was really hoping they had cleared all February orders by now.

Please, guys, can we not go through this all over again? The last few times this has come up it seems that TV is playing strictly by the rules. Rather than thinking you're being cheated or ignored and coming here to vent would you please contact them first and get the story straight so others don't get upset? TIA.

Get real for a minute, why would they would not ship in order? Do you think they have it in for you personally? Do you think they're cutting some backdoor deal with someone to get theirs early who's dumb enough to come on here and brag about it? What has TV ever done to not merit your trust?

I am man, therefore I tinker. No honestly the design of the existing piece is very good. I just think it could be better. The mod I'm thinking of would fix a few problems..
  1. Mouthpiece is too hot. It BURNS your lips after a few minutes of use. You can throw on the little silicone condom but even then it's still pretty hot. An extended mouthpiece should be perfectly cool to the touch
  2. It's hard to draw a lot through the existing mouthpiece, especially for LL users. By using the ceramic screens instead of the existing mouthpiece you can pull a lot more through
  3. The vapor coming out is hot and can burn going down, especially once you are able to pull unrestricted through the ceramic screens. I want a few inches for it to cool off
  4. The device still has a phallic look to it. Most people who see it in person comment about that. A longer mouthpiece will make it look a bit less phallic
Still think it's a great design and it works just fine as-is. I just think we can do better and with some proper design the new mouthpiece can still retain all of the benefits of the old one

Hey I have been searching this thread but theres way too many pages. Whats going on with this thing. It seems there are a lot of problems with it. Am i correct? Issues with it being too hot, LL model issues. I was so stocked to get one but now im thinking its better to steer clear of this thing

No no no, please don't get me wrong. I LOVE my Cera. I will buy the fabled Cera Mini if it ever comes out. I am a TET fan for life. What I'm describing and what you're likely seeing is the urge to mod - for the same reason that people swap out perfectly good rims and mufflers on their cars. Nothing wrong with the stock models, just the desire to do better. I'm a professional engineer and a man - tinkering is in my blood

Nothingtoseehere...what a ploy to get likes:rofl: Just press like if you agree:brow:

To all those commenting on modding and why. As long as I have been reading FC and after I finally joined and got to know the people around here that is just what they do. Someone, and I won't call out names, bought a vaporizer yesterday and modded it out of the box. I laughed so hard. They even got me doing it to a way smaller extent. Remember nothing is perfect for everyone so with some tweaks it becomes better for that persons needs. For example I put long glass straws on most of my vapes for a longer air path. I prefer this to water. To each there own.

I don't think so.

If you've been searching the thread and have that feeling you seem to have missed LOTS of happy campers singing the praises of Cera. Lots.

Let's put this another way, there's something like 250 Ceras out there now, almost all to Forum Members (since they don't sell to dealers or advertise). Anybody want to sell this nice man your 'problem plagued' Cera?

There are issues, but in the eyes of many they are minor or manageable through modification. The first press has been positive, as seen in this review shared here recently which includes the common nitpicks. They gave it an 8.4 out of 10 and still called it "one of the best vaporizing experiences one can have". I recommend reading the whole review, it's thorough and well put together.

As far as customer service I would say they are exceptionally attentive and very concerned you are satisfied with the cera. If something is not right I have 110% trust TET will stand by the cera.

I was lucky and got through on the phone once last week but my experiences so far have been voicemail boxes, unreturned voicemails and emails unanswered. I am so confused by the mixed reviews on their service and my own experiences. I really want to like this company but am having a hard time so far.

There were Praising both LL & EO Cera, but the EO was favored in that review, LL is amazing with a learning curve, Eo is amazing with not as much of a learning curve!!!!

Sonic, i believe yours and mine might have a similar issue, i thought it was my core also, but further investigating and tinkering i could get the core to engage if i pushed down on it or to the side, so it lead me to believe that the conductive strip was out of spec!!!!
My cera should arrive at TET today so i will let you all know if my assumptions were right or if its a completely different issue!!!!

These core's are built so tough its hard to think that multiple cores could go bad!!!!!

Please bare with TET, you wont be unsatisfied!!!!
Even thru a slew of unfortunate events there still here pushing as hard or harder than day one!!!! I my self give them huge credit!!!!

That sucks and is weird that my experience has been so different. Out of a total of about 10 attempted calls I got through to Zeki about 4 times — I understand they are busy so I try a little harder than normal. I am going to get the answers I need or I would NEVER buy. I select option 6 for customer service and I call in the mornings. Hope that helps you out.
beat me to it, well said!!!!!! option 6 is my friend lol

I was by the shop a few days back delivering some stuff and had an informal chat with the guy doing the service returns (everyone else was building Ceras). Basically all the failures they're seeing have to do with the strap, most of them Ti units since they're now soldering the SS ones rather than the crimp and conductive epoxy used at first. It's been weeks since they've seen a switch problem (if I understood right) although they've got one coming in that might be the case (it stays on full time), although the 'smart money' is betting on the spring being bent (has been seen before on 'always on' failures?).

Anything can happen, of course, but I agree two dead cores to the same guy is HIGHLY unlikely. IMO that means something else is going on. There have been very few of them, a guy getting more than one would be bad luck indeed.

If there's nothing wrong with it, then why the sudden urge to mod it?

I doubt it's simply for personalization like you often see on cars, probably for better performance, like you also do see on cars (albeit to a much lesser extent).

Sounds slightly fanboish.

Thanks for the tips guys.. I have actually been calling/emailing Zeki but it is hit or miss. Unfortunately I cannot get him on email since last week and cannot get anyone on the phone again today. Will try to be more persistent if that is what it takes.

I like to mod. I mod almost everything in my life it seems. I will try something if for only a few minutes simply because I like to play around with my toys and see what I can do.
That's fine, customization is awesome, but I still feel the previous poster is being more of a fanboi that an objective reviewer if you catch my drift.

I honestly think the pre order folks should chill out a little, you guys pre ordered it with no guaranteed ship date?? Its probably causing more traffic for the folks that actually have Ceras and have problems with theirs, people with issues need the customer servicing

@ blazingog/of.. I thought right away it was the strip also because the switch wasnt working with mods neither.

edit - blazing u are right. my carts work with a little pressure applied to em.. phewww, was worrying bout losing the goodies in my EO cart . Please let us know what happens with yours because mine sounds like the same exact issue.
