yeah, I can see a paperclip being more difficult. I could barely get this tiny pin to work.

Yea I don't think a paper clip fits through the holes so you must have moved the holes a bit for it to work. We need something long and way skinner. With the holes be so small why on earth is stuff getting through. Glad I am not going to check at least not yet.

Charging rate for the Inhalater is 500mA. This is standard maximum for PC USB hook-up and general standard for micro USB; charging rate will not increase using different cable or charger.

There is no charging frequency. In theory all chargers will output 5V DC. The case is that some chargers input some frequency in the 5V DC because of deficiencies in their design. As mentionned, new chargers supplied with Inhalater's may be used with any or all micro USB devices.

Ouch inhalater you made my head hurt....I still like to learn though. Batteries and such are so confusing. Keep plugged in, don't keep plugged in, train the battery, don't train the battery, drain, don't drain. They are all different and have different rules and this bubble head never remembers which is which.

Dreamerr, you need to make a spreadsheet with all your vapes and their different requirements.

How in the world do I clean this vaporizer? Let's say if I was going to alabama doing a road trip, how can I get it "legal clean"? I can get my mflb legal clean but this is a different animal... How do u guys do it?

Oh really? Please enlighten us as to how you make a porous substance like wood "legal clean". In my experience this would take an autoclave, and even then, I wouldn't bet my freedom on it

Guys, I am finalizing my order for the Inhalater tonight and had a question about using hash, say i fill the inhalater capsule half way with small hash balls and start using it, what do you think are the problems that could arise ? - Potentially the screen in the capsule get clogged, the capsule itself could also get clogged/dirty with the resin melting and spreading when it heats.

But do you think there is any risk in specifically damaging the vaporizer unit itself since i can buy a spare capsule and replace it, a $12 cost is affordable but i do not want to damage the vaporizer itself ? Users who have this vape please let me know your view on this, after which i am going to finalize my order.

If u put some coton(dunno if i typed it correct) and the place the hash over it?! like we do it with solo... for oils etc

A friend of mine got the INH and sent it back due to the resin chamber inside being out of place and the temp could get very high because of the restriced airflow... The new unit while working great has also a deformed resin tube inside and my friend is worried whether he rips it while taking out the screen for cleaning. Are your resin chambers aligned well, forming a perfect cylinder, or are they wavy and bumpy?

I've had an INH004 for a about 1.5 weeks. At first I really loved it and it was my main go-to-piece all week, over my Volcano even. At first I was shocked at how thoroughly it would "brown" my herbs on the MAX setting, there was no green and it was even darker than my volcano would make on max and very uniform.

Well after a week of heavy use, and even a thorough cleaning, something is wrong with my INH004.

It is still getting HOT, but for some reason it's barely vaporizing my material before I just feel like I inhale nothing but heat. The smoke is that very feint "bluish" color that I usually only associate with material that is close to 95% vaporized. But I will give it a long strong pull and it doesn't seem to get my material vaporized evenly. I dump open the capsule and at the bottom there's even plenty of green visible!

So I have used the bent-pin trick to remove my screen entirely from the inner capsule. IPA soaked and now clean as a whistle. I even got the lower chamber 100% clean by hooking the unit up to my shopvac and running a tiny bit of IPA through the air holes going into the vacuum. This got the internals white as new and definitely puffing clean and strong.


But I put it all back, and still same issue. I have no shortage of hot air. In fact I have been using a water-bottle bubbler to cool the air, since the long rips I have been taking to get anything outta the INH fill my lungs with uncomfortably hot air. But rip as long as I may, it never seems to fully vaporize anything. What could be the problem?

The ONLY thing I can think of (and alluded to in posts above) is that air is somehow getting around the herb chamber. But my polyamide cylinders both seem in fine shape, no massive wrinkles or holes. And if I plug the intake holes with my fingers, no air makes it in, so there's no unheated air making its way in.


Any ideas?

maybe all that cleaning increasing your flow? Try hitting it slower.

I've never liked how difficult it is to draw on the INH004 and that hasn't gotten any easier after my cleaning. I don't think I can hit it any way BUT slowly.

In fact since my bubbler is just a plastic water bottle, if I apply any suction pressure at all, the bottle simply caves in and it doesn't draw any quicker. So I am pretty much taking nothing but slow hits.

sounds like you may want to contact INH or where you purchased from. The only other factor I was curious about was how tight are you packing your capsule? What temps are you trying to vape at? I would think the cleaning would only help the air flow, unless you managed to clog the air ways, but it sounds like you got them moving as they should be.

I don't know either as the airflow in the INH is better then any other vape I used. I just lay here pulling at a normal to sometimes fast draw. I don't like to monitor my draw.

I used the INH last night after I was tired of the slow draw of the solo and yes deaded it again. I put in a little herb and kief, first time, I put herb over the kief as well. I had no issues but did use a straw to suck out whatever fell inside. I need to stop sucking and sucking cause I don't want so much wasted vapor. I barely put my mouth to it and vape all the way. You must have a broken unit if you can't vape.

I have never had green stuff come back out but I am running my capsules twice now as a routine cause I still get more meds. I can even do it three times if I want but I don't like the taste.

I have no issues with my polymide wrinkled or bent. I hope the new ones weren't done sloppy cause that wouldn't be good. I find there is no learning curve on the INH except for taking the cap off and putting it on. I have never removed the bottom screen cause I can't find anything to do it. I also have no air restriction, never did so no reason to take it out. I drop the capsule into a big vitamin bottle I now made my cleaning bottle with iso. It is a big bottle with a nice wide mouth so it is easy to use a tweezer to get whatever I put in there out. I can use my hand too but then I spill the iso.

Jam I pack it sometimes and it does reduce the flow but nothing like the solo.

sounds like you have an issue with yours because my Inhalator has almost no drag. Especially compared to other portables.

Sounds like you NEED the PVHES stem for the flow. IMHO nothing beats that stem even ed's stems. It will flow almost as good as the Inhalator then IMHO. Oh and I don't consider the Inhalators cap a learning curve. Who needs to learn how to take a cap off? You either can or you can't(no muscles apparently). When I got mine I didn't even think twice and I pulled it right off?

LOL on the cap. Do you suggest the turbo, regular or the shorty?

I have never tried the turbo. But from talking to PV they said they have done extensive testing and the PVHES has the best flow. They just released the turbo because so many people were bitching and wanted to call their bluff. Also like I said before the shorty is just a normal PVHES stem but with a smaller bowl.

FWIW I emailed both the ebay store I bought from and the maker of the INH, will post back. But I'm also going to experiment alot tonight and see what kinda results I get. Would people want to see things like the appearance of the vaporized material, or is that a faux pas here?

I already put the regular long pvhes on my wish list for PV. I just wanted to make sure. @ictus the pvhes is for the solo. I did think the turbo was silly. A glass pipe with a ridge to put a screen in. A built in glass screen is better to me which is what the regular one has.

I also made a neoprene sleeve again bored for the stem. I used one of those freebie beer holders and cut it up and sewed it. I did a horrible job but it fits the bent and the regular but not together. I have figured out a way to do that too but I have to figure out if I am going to stick with straight or bent. The bent seems to have less drag but as I said last night please tell me if I am wrong.

@ictus, as far as I know the person on ebay selling the INH was theothersideofvapes so Taylor is your man. Shoot him an email and let him solve your issue.

You bent stem probably is just looser than your straight. I noticed that if I wiggle it around depending on where I wiggle it I can get some crazy good flow for a stock stem. But nothing beats the PVHES.

It isn't looser but thanks for checking. I have no preference for the stem as of now and don't expect to except for the fact that the straight is easier to carry and stuff. I have to call PV and ask them if the tubes that hold the stems can break in my pocket if they can I will figure out another way. Crap why did I even ask that in this thread...guess it went along with what I was doing with the INH
