Been lurking here for the past few months waiting for the 4/20 sale (made an account specifically to see @Squiby's signature 
). This M + Ti Tip deal did me in though. It was just too good to pass up. Couldn't justify the extra cost for my original choice (a Carbon Fiber XLS) when there's a Ti tip included. My first dry herb vape looks like it'll be great. Here's to possibly more VAS when 4/20 comes around!

That's more or less what's kept me from pulling the trigger on one for so long.
I have to say.....your videos might have just sold it for me :-)
I'm feeling exactly the same way. I've had the page up and almost pulled the trigger a few times in the past 24-hours.
I keep telling myself to wait for 4/20 sales...don't spend money now...wait for 4/20 sales...it's so close.
Of course, who knows. Maybe this is a better deal than their 4/20 sale will be. That's what I'm afraid of.

What I really want from the M18 is the tip as that is what's truly unique. I have an unused Vong stem and a condenser from previous flash sales that's been waiting on a tip. So if I look at this deal as a Ti tip and a M18 SS tip for $60, that's basically retail, or close. That makes it a little easier to wait for 420, but not much...
If I didn't have the condenser and vong it would be much harder.

Parting with the money IS the problem. I already have a Ti tip on the way from @Ed's TnT , but it's going to be dedicated to the 14/18mm wong adapter that came with the Woodscent's log vape I recently purchased.
But I still want one of these fancy stems from @phattpiggie or @stardustsailor soon, and I'll need a tip for that.

So the guys in the last Dynavap Live showed us their Super M. 2 M's connected as one. With a clever use of the O-rings. 
So why not a Spinning Super M?
Well the Wooden MP I got free with my XL condenser many sales ago has too small a hole to spin proper. And I have a long glass tube that the rings fit perfectly. So the MP won't slide off the one end of the glass condenser, because of the smaller hole size. Turn a negative into a positive. Then replace the M17 tip with my 7 fin LE.
BOOM! SUPER XL FRANKENPIPE!! With a glass condenser!! with my fav 7 fin LE as well.

From what you're describing looks like your tube is at fault. From my experience the devices come in the tube, never seen no tissue, and it seems yours just popped open on the way.
You can contact Dynavap about the faulty tube, be sure to mention it's the XL one, I'm sure George&Co will do their best to assist you.
IMHO the XL tube is not very useful for the Omni.. too wide. I use this one (115mm) instead:
