@phattpiggie or @Ed's TnT. @Mr.Sifter asks an intriguing question for those of us who love wood. Could a wooden J Hook, or Sherlock Holmes wooden pipe be made to accept a 14mm Vong? And might the 'stand' be incorporated into the 'pipe' itself?
You maybe too young to remember?

Jimmy HENDRICK's = ORGANIC player
Jimmy PAGE = COULD READ MUSIC

Both unreal just a different aproch?
This is what I use for water:

Just need to make a seal (need to order a new cap) I use it many times a day!

Why pick a 14mm vong?
If it's only for VC use it just needs the 8mm hole for the Ti.
Fair enough if it's to be used with other vapes.

Easier to mod an existing pipe by making an adapter to fit the bowl.
Mod an existing pipe to take a vong and you have to souce one with a small enough bowl to machine out to the 14mm.
Cutters for female joints are hard to find.

If I was to make a complete wooden pipe I would be looking to fit a SS condenser to make cleaning easier.
Which could mean shallower curves.

These things are all doable but they could end up very expensive so the adapter looks better.

If the pipe did end up clogged or foul smelling you buy another and fit the adapter.

Hope that makes sense.

Lo and Behold! The transformative power of Vapor.
I gave up on condensers. Burn me at the stake.
 What heresy? I went condenserless for a while. M body on backwards. Ti tip. Vape Naysh style. If you can't go XL, and you like hotter vapor and not going for an air to vapor ratio. It'll do it for ya.

The 2 M's went on two upgrade paths. One Vape Naysh with 2 extra caps and tips and an MP with my 3D stash. All contained.
The other was fitted with an XL condenser with a wooden tip but has the original SS tip. It and a pick can fit in the XL dynatube that arrived from my last green package. The wooden MP insulating any heat from the M body. Best of both options.

both ti tips (old and new) heat up in different speeds?
Well if you think about how each gen of tip gets milled a little differently and the mass is going towards lighter than the previous. Deeper wider groove patterns, etc. More mass leans towards the conduction ratio, etc. Maybe it's time to file my SS tips?

I've heard that the M's SS tip is better than the earlier heavier Ti tips due to mass and milling back in the day. If that gives anybody a sense of range.

The "M" 4 some & TI for other's!!

SORRY everyone for being a CB!
Not a CB to me, just not understanding how these two need to be categorically different with you.:hmm: I've changed and refined my opinion of each over time. Currently, I think the SS and Ti store and release their energy differently and I try to get the benefits out of both.
For me, I started with 2 M's and got my learning curve with them for about 6 months. Next sale, the Ti's and got to know them. So I could detect any differences between the two types. Later tried Condenserless, XL, Glass condenser, etc. Plus other considerations. :science:

IF you are happy with the M. So be it! However, If you want to try a different 'jet' without getting caught up with BLING, try the Ti. :2c: Say do you think there will be a tip flash sale?
U ever use a WINE-O-VAC cap for the VAPCAP? (18mm water connection)
My friend from SWITZERLAND turned me on to them.
The straight tube shape of the M and the divot area around the MP allows for a lot of adapter mods. I've used silicone rings or strips of silicone hose to fit like an adapter on the fly.
You could even get a rubber MP from George for a few dollars? I see the hairline crack on your DD M adapter. Figured you might be in need at some point. ;)

Oh, There is a ton of small cigarette style water pipes from china available on Ebay, amazon, etc.. The vapcap might fit most of these? If anybody feels like browsing. :sherlock: Oh perhaps browse 'cigarette holders' too.
:peace:

Welp, I thought I was going to get my very first Nonavong but the person I purchased it from on Reddit, after 3 days of no response after I paid, refunded my money and deleted their reddit account, guess I’ll have to wait until another is available. I was already thinking about the possibilities with it is the disappointing part.

Edit: they must have loved it so much that they changed their mind about selling.

So you have a working CnC machine? Do you still do work with it? Maybe you can create something vapcap? :science:

The cap you have does has an interesting tail to it. :) The part that functions looks O.K. right? What a rugged vape, Eh? Maybe it will hold you over till 4/20 $ale time? Then decide if you want a Ti tip or not? That's how I got what I wanted with months long anticipation for free. Or maybe check every THU for a flash sale for either and snag? George is talking about lighters and caps? :sherlock: It'll be fun to watch either way. totally understand the budget thing.

@phattpiggie & @Ed's TnT thank you for being gentle with my not too well thought out idea. I'll blame it on the Boss OG wax I had in my Omnivong yesterday evening. Have a great day making your already amazing accessories and vapes for those of us less talented.

@stark1 Your Good Morning Sunshine post almost cost me my computer-coffee rained out of my nasal orifice. God almighty-I could have used a warning but there it was right at the top of a new page. Thanks for that.

Something like that was posted a little while ago. More of a D hook than a J hook, but has the built in stand. :D

That's a really good deal. Sadly it's just a little too phallic for me to pull the trigger on. In fact now that I see it that way I can't seem to unsee it. I just see a tattooed clear schlong laying on the table.

Sorry if I ruined it for you.

I'd be a little worried of the shlong was not apparent to you. :D Not sure who gave the thumbs up to this design
Mrs. Fizz might break her 25 year T break if I start to bring vape tools like that home.:)

mmh, no quality, good looking J hooks around ?

@Mr.Sifter what don't you like about these J Hooks? The glass? The design? How do you know they're of poor quality?

I spent some time looking online and these glass J hooks pretty much represent what's available in that shape. I think both Phat Piggie and Ed's TnT pointed out that a wooden one wasn't economically feasible, and I'm not sure what other material could be used.

And I was too stoned to realize it when I first wrote it, but a stand isn't really necessary due to heat-the hook itself shouldn't get hot, just the vapcap which I can take out and put on a magnet and set the J Hook safely on its side.

Mine is currently on the way. I'm pretty snobbish about stuff so if the quality is poor I'll let you know. But I'm looking forward to getting my Cobalt blue J Hook as I think it looks pretty snazzy and the flat mouthpiece looks comfortable. Mostly though, I'm interested in performance. How does it feel in my hand and how well does it cool vapor? Looks, for me, are secondary.
