how is the fit of ed's tnt tubes with the wdz? do they come in different lengths?

I have sold a couple to WDZ owners that have really enjoyed them, you can go a page back and see pbmagnet4's pic and info, he got a sweet figured walnut tube that works well for him, he had a friend that got a couple pieces from me as well, not sure if he has a WDZ, sure you can ask around. The fit is just a tight with the WDZ as is with the MZ.

Get one, you get it, seat it before you use it, see for yourself, if your not happy, hey just let me know and we will go from there. I want all of my customers to be happy with their purchase and happy to tell others about them.

As far as lengths and all goes, I have had em round bout 4" with a slightly larger diameter inner draw hole for more increased drawing capacity, I like mine vapor pulls to be full and hearty. I am gonna shortn the length just a tad to make the bore hole a little cleaner, also thinking of rolling back the inner diameter to what you all are normally used to with the plastic. I am still trying this and trying that to feel what is best in time. I hope with everyone that has gotten some in the past for them to share their likes about them or ways to maybe improve them, I need input!

As I said, give it a try and let me know what your thinking, I am more than happy to talk about it!

Oh please don't do this, or better yet if it isn't a big pain, offer an option for either small or large inner diameter.

HMMM thanks for the input reece, just wasnt sure about that or not. As I said I dig the bigger hits, maybe some dont, or they have just gotten accustomed to how the smaller tubes work and are happy with them.

I will surely ponder it, thank you.

In my little test sample world of about 5 people besides myself, no one has complained about the larger tubing or even mentioned it as an issue outside the first 5 seconds of holding it. I think if anything it would make it harder to clean it!

The first thing that comes to mind as far as improvements go would be some way to stop the tubes from rolling. Haven't thought of a way to do this efficiently but maybe someone else will have an idea or two.

Just off the top of my head, maybe one could slide a rubber O'Ring around it, that would sorta stop the rolling effect, if it could kinda grip what you have it placed on, dont you think something of that nature would work?

I'm going to chime in here about the inner diameter too. I really like that it is larger than the standard stems provided because the draw is easier. I would not want it to change. It is what makes your tubes my standard go to tubes beside my glass Tooties (I do like a little variety...). I also think that for a noob to this style of vape, it would make the learning curve easier.

There you go, I was feeling that as well, I think you all are right, that is what makes em, and thats how they should be, I can dig that. The heavy hit is who I am and what I am about, there is no half-ass to it.

This is the input I have been needing for quite some time, guess I just hadnt gotten enough of them out there, to really get a feeling back, thank you.

Ed, if it aint broke, don't fix it.

One thing I would strongly recommend is rotating or removing your tips after each use. I have had a devil of a time getting a couple of mine out after not doing so. Also, I have found that 151, since I can't get Everclear, works much better for cleaning. It breaks down the resin much better, plus it's edible. You can reuse it in a tincture or for cooking.

Thats right as Reece and mom have stated the inserts that house the screen are removable and can be soaked in ISO, the tubes themselves should not be soaked, I do not recommend that at all, I do pkg. every tube with a couple of extra fluffy pipe cleaners so if you feel the need to clean the tip you can do so with the cleaners that come with it.

Your exactly right Mom, I am a big believer in that"If aint broke, dont fix it" I have had a few spun lately with the slightly smaller inner diameter just for trial purposes, I will go back to the larger bore because thats how we like it, and how it should be

Thank you for ya'lls input! Theres a little country fer ya!

And the pipe cleaners do a great job of cleaning the wood. I really thought the cleaning would be an issue, that's why I figured I'd only use the tubes occasionally. But I loved it so much I kept using it and when it needed cleaning it was a breeze.

I think that is what alot of people thought in the beginning that they would be hard to clean, but in actuality they are not, its easy peasy.

Thank you for pointing that out as well!

G'day from Australia Ed.

Compliments on the beautiful pieces you make.

I would like to order one of the Red Cedar dugouts(among other things) as although red cedar is probably not the rarest or fanciest woods i find it has a real simple elegance and beauty to it.

Now to my question, do you ship to Australia?

All the Best.

On his website, Ed says that he ships world wide. Of course, only he would be able to answer for sure. Shoot him an email.

momofthegoons,
Ed, you should ask the OP to change the name of the post to something like " Ed's custom wood vape pieces and other fine wares" or some such. Just read this post for the first time and I'm very impressed with your work - given the vaporizer focus of this forum, changing the post title to include it will likely lead to more business.

Thanks for the kind words, Mrs. Ed digs the Cedar more than any of the other species I offer, she says the same thing your feeling.

I do ship to Australia and look forward to hearing from you, I will make sure you get the sweetest of the bunch. Thank you again for the kind words and the inquiry.

Thanks for the suggestion, I am beginning to think its probably better left alone, I have email one of the Mods here lately, did it a while back, am not getting anything back, seems as though I better just leave things the way they are, and ask you all to spread the word for me where possible.

I really appreciate your words on my work, thats what its all about, I only offer what I would want to buy and treat my customers as I would want to be treated.

Thanks for the input bro!

I've always said the vapor tubes were like dugout bats. I even asked a friend of mine about making a dugout for a vapor tube. This was before Ed's wood tubes were available. I completely forgot about it. It would be cool if Ed could do something like that. Awesome idea pinoy.
