Ice cubes added to the silicone rig and my high water mark just got raised. The sic dish is burning extremely clean at 700f. the ice more than compensates for any harshness of the higher heat. the dish does not spin when q-tipping. the dish is burning extremely clean. the entire head assembly feels more sturdy due to the spring/coil thermal expansion no longer affecting the dish. there will be more cosmetic chamfers added. I've not compared heat up times with gen1 centerpost, so far it's not noticeable. The wrap around design has much more mass and will retain more heat. I'm sure it help to improve the heat distribution between coil and dish. there will need to be a separate model for the dnail dishes as they are larger in dia.

new high water mark for me.

Like that revision certainly looks more solid if that's the right word to use, nice to see the SiC dish fits right in. One thing I've noticed on the website tho is the lack of it as a 16mm piece I'm assuming thats intended because your gearing more for the 20mm could from this point on?

No sign of 16mm parts in clearance either which I'd assume they would be placed here?

Looks amazing so far , it should definetly add some more heat to the bottom of the dish and also the sides as when using the Sic, Quartz or titanium it can sometimes be hard due to the dish size to get your dab touching the bottom of the dish , this is great bc you can hit the walls also with your dab since the heat should now be transferred a bit better. I am assuming a drop of longer heat up time due the titanium ring and prob a drop or a heat soak would give the best results . Looking forward to it , please make one for the dnail dish also . Was wondering if you were able to make something for different coil sizes ? @anasrzi it was never said the 16mm would be going out of stock , it is still alive , NewVape knows that not everyone has just a 20mm coil & I am almost sure they are going to make updates for both versions. I just think they are gearing towards the 20mm 1st and than will most likely be working on the 16mm . I wouldn't be to worried buddy .

I'm sure NV will sort us 16mm coil guys out @Justpassedu even if not there will always be the backdated rev 1 to purchase (although I do dig the new improved version).

Would really like to see the new concept ones coming to the fore, the ones on the previous last pages but I'd guess that's a good way off? Inserts of SiC sapphire or dare I say "obsidian" that I've seen on the CCA Liger website already, all these dabbing inserts and dishes are changing so often it's hard to keep pace :).

I'm doing really good with 710f up high with my flat coil, and 440f down below with the 16mm barrel coil. I need to get my measurements act together so I can see what's really going on, but I like it here.

I dig the heat-retention part of this latest design, sometimes I have a fan on and I think it affects this.

Hello all!
I got my TWAX FlowerPot on Friday.
Not only does it blow away every other vaporizer I've ever tried (with the possible exception of my beloved Sticky Brick Jr.), it has also cured me of the "need" to shop around for any other vape... EVER! :)
My FlowerPot has also cured me of the desire to pretty much do anything else this weekend... so the review will have to wait for next week.
Awesome... really, no more needs be said! :D

P.S. Currently vaping at 777 Deg. (20mm Coil) and gradually lowering the temp 20 degrees at a time... so 667 (the neighbor of the beast...), here I come! :)
I can also hear my concentrate rigs lamenting from the cupboard, all of them aware that they will probably rarely ever get used again! ;)

I certainly found this well worth doing. I'm now finding that I can really accurately choose a temp/dosage combination that makes certain I dont cough at all, but as I've said before, my lungs are very shit so I have to be careful. So I can now do the right amount up at 710f to finish a bowl in one with out coughing, or have a massive bowl full of taste explosion and multiple hits down at 560f.

Its gonna help introduce friends to the FP without having them struggling to breathe from a coughing fit and spluttering into my bong! :D

I might try not using water in the d020 for a few days, see if flavour increases.

ok wrap around 16mm center post & coil cover. someone left the cnc lathe on automatic to long and we have several hundred 16mm rev 1 center posts. expect to see those used in cheaper bundles. the next flower head will not work on the 16mm coil. i'm thrilled to hear people are coughing less. i know i am. these parts will all be available next week.

lazylathe

Almost there...
I have my China controller set at 690F and find that it works perfectly for me.
To achieve various stages of exhausted ABV, i just vary my draw speed.

Today i also discovered a very neat trick! I always use and EQ basket mod.
So i load up the basket with a pinch and compress it slightly.
Add head and LolliCap and start drawing slowly until the can is almost full of vapor.
Then start drawing faster and watch the vapor thicken up like crazy!
When the vapor starts to thin, remove LolliCap and head and see the still green load!
This has been providing me with awesome, tasty hits of super thick vapor for the first hit.

Second hit is slower and i draw for as long as i can comfortably can.
Flavor is still pretty good but vapor is thinner and when done the ABV is dark brown and done!

Hitting some amazing Gorilla OG tonight!

U said 16 mm wrap around and coil cover at first then at the end you said the next flower head won't work with 16 mm? I'm confused..going forward is anything new gonna be available in 16mm? Or do we have what we have available in 16 as is..just wondering if I should get a,20 mm coil to go forward? Also I am Leary to buy another quartz and never heard anything back from ya so I will just purchase a sic

You'll still have the V1 20mm Center Posts for sale too correct? I ask because those work with the D-Nail Sic Halos. Thanks again for chiming in sir! :whip:

So no more development on the 16mm?? Can't lie I'm bummed to hear that. 16mm was your flagship model and is all that was offered when I bought the fp and now all theOG 16mm supporters are forsaken.

Guess it's time to order a 20mm coil now.

@NewVape710...disappointed that on the day i ordered the flowerpot kit, i went by that chart and got what was recommended....also spoke to someone on the phone at newvape and was told 16mm was more common...next day after i ordered what was recommended i saw a comment in this forum about recommending 20mm coil to new customers... i was a new customer and now these upgrades..not happy with this!
