You dont sound like a shill, you sound more like a guy comparing Apples and oranges my friend. Seriously.

Mighty and Milaana are two different vapes. Ones a session Vape, and the other an on demand vaporizer.
True...but you can session with the milaana if you want to.

Thats the crazy part...its like the daisy in that regards.

With torch technique you can sip on a bowl for a while or kill it in a few big tokes.

My main draw to the mighty in the first place was the on demand nature of the hits and not having to wait between draws.

@mitchgo61 fuck you man...your making me want a firefly 2 and im satisfied with my lineup currently...i need help lol

I go where the thrills are
I'm just about to pull the trigger on the Mighty, and then I see posts like this. Most of the time I guess it would be single use only, so that kinda now leans me toward the FF2.

Also, the cleaning thing does make it tough, because if I want to go on a trip, let's say to the promised land, aka Colorado, I like being able to clean it easily. I have used the Pax for this in the past, but my Pax is being real finicky lately and that's why I'm looking for something new. I like the fact that the FireFly 2 uses less, but if it comes at the cost of vapor production, that may turn me off.

Also the size of the Mighty is a real big turn off for me, as I would like something somewhat pocketable. This is an insanely tough decision.

You can use the Mighty in smaller-load, one-person session mode by using the pad to take up space in the bowl. And you don't have to clean it very often if you do this....the pad prevents the CU from getting full of debris. You'll still need to clean the CU, and it's still a time-consuming pain in the ass...but I go like 15-20 bowls easily between cleanings by using the pad. This may be enough to mitigate your traveling issues. :2c:

I go where the thrills are
I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on the Mighty. Seems like it's a work horse to the max and I'd rather have that then something I have to stir and be finicky with like the FireFly 2. I'm gonna make a decision real soon.

If stirring and manual intervention make you nuts, the Mighty is your easy choice. I just like having both. :p

Yeah, I may eventually pick up a FireFly 2 or a Grasshopper, but I think if I go to Colorado again, I want something that is gonna be ridiculous and easy to use, etc.

As I said, I do have a Cloud Evo, and I love it's ease of use, and you should stir with the Cloud but I'm too lazy and don't.... So i'm thinking the Mighty is the best choice for me right now.

Edit: Ok I ordered my Mighty. LMAO! :-). I got the car charger and an extra cooling unit due to advice I have received.

I may break down and order a Firefly 2 at some point, but I think I'll be very happy with my Mighty and the level of Clouds it will deliver against my old portable, the Pax.

I think you'll find that the cleaning is only a minor PIA, and only has to be done once in a while (YMMV). another thing people haven't mentioned much, if at all, about your options: no smart phone required w/mighty, unlike both crafty and FF2.

enjoy your new friend!

Cano Medic temp is governed. Curious if Mighty Medic is the same.

Regarding chipping, I don't treat my Mighty's gently or anything, and still have an OG serial 12XXX that is flawless. I take the CU's off hot or cold, I over stuff the bowl, put tonnes of pressure on the thing with my Muzzmod, and yet i've never had a problem. I don't get it, but it has to either be some sort of operator error, or bad batches of casings? I do press down on the CU when taking it off, perhaps it's as simple as something like that? I've even dropped my Mighty several times!

I would LOVE some sort of rubber casing for the Mighty, kind of like the bumper on my iphone. @Ratchett ?
Fantastic idea about the rubber case. I'd throw down $30 for one of those.

FF2: Dead easy to clean, takes 1/10th of the time to maintain over the Mighty.

It seems that way at first, but I actually spend more time cleaning my FF2 in the long run because I wipe it down thoroughly after every bowl, while with the Mighty I just disassemble the CU and let it soak in iso for a while. The iso does the job for me. And this is only once a week.

I said a case for the mighty would be sick last week, around the edges like a phone bumper case...gawwwww

Remember the FIFA world cup 2014 in brazil ?

Semi Final Brazil vs Germany 1-7

that's what the mighty does

:D

by the way:
what do you use to collect the resin in the CU?
is this usable stuff ?

cleaning with ISO is a breeze but it wastes the reclaim.

I'm nervous about the reliability of this unit. Has anyone used it heavily and never had to exchange? I understand the net's tendency to highlight the negatives.

you probably don't want to read 297 pages of posts, but I've read most if not all of it and, unlike the crafty thread, there are very few people who've had issues. you're right about the net's tendency to highlight the negative though - given the 1000's of craftys that have been sold, maybe their failure rate isn't as bad as this forum would have you think (S&B ain't sayin', for some reason). at any rate, you've got a 2 year guarantee, S&B's customer service seems to be 99% fine (stateside. 100% fine in europe), so you've got a couple of worry-free years - and I'll go out on a limb and predict it'll be a big old love affair between you and your new baby. and when those 2 years are up? there will almost certainly be new and amazing products to drool over, maybe even an all-convection, on-demand, no stirring, stealthy, non-stinky, reliable, efficient - something.

I've had two returns with mighty so far and I got one stolen, but guess what? I still bought another one because it's that good! It's just a breeze to use and provides nice thick tasty vapor that will rip you..no doubt...I treat my vapes very well and still had few different issues but I got my first one over a year ago so it has more than paid for itself and s$b has been more than ok to hand over new unit if yours breaks(preface that with people have had issues more so with the Oakland,u.s. Site...but still they usually come through as long as you didn't just completely obliterate your mighty...it's a must have for me and I have owned tons of vapes and use my mighty, milaana, evo, minivap and supreme daily...

there is also plant material in the CU.
dont think it would produce Oil.

Naw you could run the iso thru a strainer if u don't want solids in there..there's lots of info on how to use ISO to make concentrates or reclaim...one thing the air kicks ass at is how easy it is to scoop out globs out the stem.

Here's a quick how-to-reclaim with a Q-Tip

1. Get a used Mighty, heat it up to max temperature and suck a bit to heat up the CU
KjxjqSW.jpg

2. Move the 3D Logo

3. Open up the CU, look at the gooie gold.

4. Swipe it while it's hot! .. or warm and liquid.

5. Get the Cotton off the stick

6. Into the Mighty!

7. Make some clouds..!

This can be repeated often when you're out of weed. Makes the Mighty even better.

fwiw I am vaping cotton q-tips for over a year now, all good so far.

Basically, it is condensed hash-oil built up over time. Not considered the best of tasting, usually, but can also be used for cooking (already decarbed), too. If you are a heavy user, it can build up quickly.

Can I put that stuff in my FF2 and vape it? On a concentrate pad, perhaps?

Forgive me guys because this question probably belongs in the grinder thread, but since this is Mighty related, I figured Id asked the question here.

I did ask a similar question over there a little while back and ended up where I first started.

I have a thing for grinders, like a paranoia thing. I have had the oem storz and bickle acrylic grinder break teeths on me and into the herb, ordered an authentic Space case titanium grinder and the inside started peeling off after the 1st use! I have stayed away from aluminum grinders because they have been reported to leave traces of aluminum shavings behind.

Now, I have thought about getting a mini cheese grater to break down my herb to be consistent with the storz and bickle original grinder, which grinds perfectly.

Soooooo, my question is, is there an easier method or grinder recommendation that grinds the herb well enough for the mighty use?

I've heard good things about grinder cards, if ur already contemplating going with a cheese grater u should check them out.

I use a lil tiny 4pc 'chromium crusher'. I think the 4 piece diamond style is best for the mighty, haven't touched the orange grinder or fill tool at all. For a fine grind I hold it upside down so it all stays in the crusher section. Working on a 5 strain grind atm..

the reclaim can also be vaped in the solo. It is just a cotton with some oil. Clouds and stuff.

I would have used PIU to buy the dosing capsules, but I instant messaged them about it and the person I talked to said they had no clue what i was talking about. One day they will figure things out and I will make life for S&B America and PIU better. S&B America did me a small let down by sending me an order 9 days late. PIU has been good for me so far and it's too bad they have restrictions on the products they can carry
