I am too putting my order through a week before Christmas due to monies what S/N should i be getting on my unit from direct in Germany? It would be latest model probably one of the first units that goes out in 2016 i bet. Also I have my Herborizer screens i love them being surgical stainless steel & have loads can i use these in the Mighty CU and Oven are they universal in size? Already got the Easyflow glass mouthpeice too so this is #2 in the collection.

Looking good so far Rolls Royce Herborizer, Mercedes Mighty and then Sublimator to be #3 and finale thats my 2016 and beyond sorted for a long time. I canot forsee these being beat how can you beat a big bowl of instant cloud if this thing comes close to the Herbo at 230c i will be pleased.

Glad to see you guys taking the dip, it's a Mighty fine decision and I'm Mighty sure you'll enjoy it. ;)

Just my monthly check in. Pulled the Mighty out today, had it packed away during thanksgiving for most part. My batteries may have lost one "session" but it's hardly noticible.

My apartment is cold. Like 64-66. My BHO is quite shardy at room temp for perspective. I don't mind, but I worried that leaving the Mighty in this cold apartment would kill the batteries quicker. Doesn't seem to be the case. Left in car glovebox a few times too in sub 40 degree weather. I make a point to have a "session" though after charging and prior to knowing I won't use for a while so it's neither fully dead nor charged when stored away. Just things I've thought about recently in regards to it.

New owners, when you take the CU off, be gentle. Push it in, and then twist. Then pull it off. I feel like sometimes people are just ripping these things off without the dedicated three motions, and I think that would cause cracks and issues up top like many people seem to get. Not me though :D but maybe I'm an outlier/lucky

OMG I forgot how AWESOME the Mighty flavour tastes!!! Using the SonG and loading the bowl right up with Jack Herer....damn, I can't get the taste of my mouth! Max temp, huge tasty hits that are so smooth.

I feel this 23XXX is a different animal than my 12XXX. It feels somewhat more refined, I love the 2 min timer, and it holds its temp more. Before i'd be able to use my massive lungs and plunge the temp 15c+ but now it's usually no more than 4 or5c. I like the way it overshoots and stabilizes and I finally get to see the new improved casing.

This thing feels alot more like convection than I remember it...and I don't get super dark ABV either. Maybe need a finer grind? I remember some super dark ABV with my previous Mighty's.

I think the 2min shut off is great. It goes by so fast I timed mine to make sure it wasn't the 1min. 1 min seems way too short.
I'm currently loving Skunk #1 at around 165-175c. The taste goes so well with coffee!

With the one minute timer I nearly constantly always had to turn the thing back on, but now it seems like it never turns off because with the 2 min timer I actually get enough time to be able to draw hard enough to trip the timer reset.

Haven't tested the battery life....i've only used it in bypass mode (fully charged and plugged in). I'll do some testing of cycles today. Heatup time is the same as my previous 12XXX mighty's.......1m:15s from 20c to 180c.

EDIT: Yo @Ratchett! Any possibility of a custom Mighty silicone skin sleeve? Kinda like the Arizer Air silicone skin condom? Just feels SO naked without one considering the investment.

Need to pickup a Universal SonG and thinking about trying the new one too!

For science last night, I charged my Mighty fully and wanted to kill the batteries.

I got 5 sessions at 397 and I still have 2 bars left. Will see how many more I get when I stop home for lunch. What I did notice, other than the Mighty's awesome vape signature (I forgot how great it is, gets me wrecked), was that the battery indicator or drainage seemed less on a full charge.

I actually don't know if that's the correct terminology, what I mean is though, Bowl 1 = 6 charges. Bowl 2 = 6 charges. Bowl 3 = 5 charges. Bowl 4 = start at 5, ended on 4. Bowl 5 - It dipped to 3 as soon as I heated it, ended the session with 2 charges.

That's plenty of battery life still, man I slept like a baby last night :)

Here's a quick how-to-reclaim with a Q-Tip

1. Get a used Mighty, heat it up to max temperature and suck a bit to heat up the CU
KjxjqSW.jpg

2. Move the 3D Logo

VE5ptCn.jpg
3. Open up the CU, look at the gooie gold.

4. Swipe it while it's hot! .. or warm and liquid.

5. Get the Cotton off the stick

6. Into the Mighty!

7. Make some clouds..!

This can be repeated often when you're out of weed. Makes the Mighty even better.

How safe is it to vapourise/heat up the material in the Q-Tips? I'd err on the side of caution and just use ISO to reclaim myself.

Puffitup have posted a genuine vs fake Mighty review on their site:

If it's organic cotton, there should be no harm. There's a thread here regarding vaping with cotton.

Edit- I just posted this in the Crafty thread and thought it may benefit some here as well.

I just got off the phone with Christine, a Storz & Bickel rep, they called me back after I had sent an email inquiry on my Crafty replacement and requested a call. I told her I had concerns that in about a years time, I've had to warranty my Crafty 5 times and this seemed excessive. :goon: She did advise that their engineers are actively seeking improvements and I should not worry because.....
The 2 year warranty is reset when they send a new replacement Crafty!

I think most here thought and possibly were told otherwise. I told her a different rep had advised me the warranty is only for the initial 2 years only. She repeated herself and assured me that was their policy regarding warranty. So now I am quite happy I did not upgrade to a Mighty.

I also mentioned to her about how @Vambo1980 (I didn't mention specific names) fixed his Crafty to be more reliable with his internal modifications. She did say she would pass the information along to the engineers.

Best news I've heard all week!
This would confirm that my Mighty warranty started fresh when I 'upgraded' in October, after three Crafty's in 8 months.
Then it becomes a perverse matter of hoping the unit has a catastrophic failure before the batteries poop out.

That's great news. I am going to contact them and get that in writing for the future. I was previously told the 2 year warranty was only from the date of the first purchase.

Is there anyone here that had an original 12XXX Mighty AND a newer 20XXX one? I swear that this newer one doesn't get as hot as my previous two. I can't whitewall like I used to and the ABV isn't as dark brown as my previous OG Mighty's. I'm not sure if it's something i'm doing different, but I don't think so. I'll try a finer grind next time. Just feels like there is a tonne of airflow (no leaks though I checked) and the hits aren't as dense as I remember. I'm also noticing that this Mighty isn't as harsh so i'm wondering if it's airflow related...somehow getting too much? I'll have to invest more time into it and do some more testing!

First time I used the battery I had 4 sessions completed (heavy power sessions full bowl) with 2 bars left on the meter, and then I charged it up. Battery life appears the same as my OG Mighty, so the rumours about 1/2 the battery life of previous Mighty's or whatever can now be squashed!

So you tested your cu off of the base for leaks, then?

I've written to S&B for clarification of my warranty's term.
Bet they're getting this question a lot today.

Just tested all 3 of my CU's and 2 leak like crazy! One is absolutely flawless, although i'm not sure if it came with my unit or was an "extra". I tested all components and it's the TOP part of the CU that is causing the leaks. I "think" it may be the hole in the middle, perhaps it's slightly out of spec?

What a bummer....hopefully S&B send me two replacements since these are useless to me. I've had several CU's with my previous Mighty's and never experienced these leaks before.

Now i'm stoked to try out the "good" CU and see if it vapes up darker ABV and milks my WT!

Beware of soaking for too long. I noticed it did not work as well and could not figure out why until i put finger over the hole and tested and sure enough both of them leak until you squeeze the sides together then it stops

Mine are brand new.... these leaks are the way they came, but thanks for the heads up! I used to soak in ISO for over an hour easily and never had any warpage issues in the past.

EDIT: Just did 2 sessions with the "good" CU and WOW! This is how I remember the MIGHTY!!! So if some of you aren't getting massive clouds and dark ABV on your brand new Mighty - CHECK THE CU SEAL!

First load was .12g Haze with a screen on top to keep it compact, straight to 210c mated with SonG and medium size bubbler (weedstar)...nice brown ABV, great thick tasty hits! Cached in a few hits.

Then I tried .15g of the same strain with a liquid pad on top, 210c, song bubbler. Same thing massive hits, but I could detect the conduction of the pad in the taste...probably because of the high temp. ABV was super dark brown like a Solo on 7!

I'm a bit let down by these CU's, but I think they must be old stock.... I even have the lighter blue seals. If S&B comes through, and i'm sure they will, and the replacements are air tight like my good one, I will be a very happy Mighty customer! Actually I already am! The Mighty medicates so well!

!

I have a 12xxx and a 30xxx. They seem to operate nearly identically (same level of heat, ABV extraction, time/number of hits to finish a bowl)....only difference is shut off timer, and the newer one seems to do a better job maintaining set temps, but the old one is pretty good at it too. Mostly identical units in operation.

do you guys think if a 2015 made Mighty can have a 12xxx serial? The store where i can buy sayme have 2015´s units, so t'hats indicate is a 20xxx o more?

Interesting, my 12XXX would actually maintain its temp. This new one if I set it to 210c, it will do a dance if I leave it......goes up to 211 - 212 then 211 - 210 - 209 - 208 and right back up and down again. I kinda like it, shows that it's +/- 2c of target temp. Maybe it did this before, but just didn't "show" it? Regardless, you're right they perform the same. Loving it!

Just did .25g of Nukem at 210c and whitewall city!! Vids will be coming!

EDIT:

Gotta give thanks for at least one out of the 3 CU's working! This is .25 of Pineapple Express, at 210c with approx 20 sec presoak before first pull. My goal is to crush one of these 1/4g loads in one magnificant pull! I've tried hard in the past, and the Mighty has always defeated me! I will keep on trying!

And it's only been a few hours and S&B already replied to my email and are sending out replacement CU's! How's that for customer service?

They also never answered a simple question about the battery bypass but no worries perhaps that email is for a different department!

I'm still unsure about bypass too.
How many watts is the Mighty heater?
How many watts is the charger (volts X amps = watts)?
How many amp-hours do the twin batteries have in total?

Also want to know more about "charge cycles" since S & B has denied warranty due to more than (secretly) allotted charge cycle max number . Is that 900 charges and what counts as a charge??

If anyone gets a good source at S & B, please try to get some answers. Thanks
