My lily is arriving today !!!!any tips on first use. I have used the hammer,lotus and vapman so I'm fairly familiar with torch vapes how should I position the flame ?same length as for lotus ?so excited to get one especially since the company is no more.
Inner tip of the blue flame goes on the opening of the periscope.

There are three carb holes. I like vaping with them all uncovered. Of you want to increase temp you can play with covering different holes. If you cover all three combustion is nearly certain.

Let me know what you think, I have all except the lotus and wonder if at this point it's a worthy investment.

After repeated use make sure your screens are clean.

Enjoy.

Alright guys got the lily, no idea how to use. Help Me fam lol
I know the periscope glass piece is what you hit the flame with. And the metal/glass is the mouthpiece. Where does the bud go??there is no screen in mine

When you take the two halves a part, on the bottom half just bellow where the periscope would be is the bowl. You'll see there a ring that stick out in the, that holds the screen from sliding down. When using kinda turn the periscope a bit so it has a slight angle, find better then using it at a 90 degree angle amd I find giving the torch and angle too. I like to tap one of the carbs holes leaving the rest open while in use. (Can't think of word so used tap lol) the vapor is determined a lot by flame distance and draw speed. If think of any tips I'll post but right off top of head think that's mainly the basics and what wakeand vape said about the flame

If you check on youtube there's a couple great videos, two by 'filtered head' doing a session and one of a quick hit by 'vapelife X' That will maybe help you a little to get started.

:peace: (to me if a picture is worth 1000 words a video for things like this is worth 1,000,000.)

I have no problem holding all three holes without combustion, can get huge hits, usually leave one tapped as a carb. I typically rotate between covering the two sides with back as carb or just back as carb sometimes for low temp. Combustion does happen on occasion through water but not so common really. It's all technique, very flame and draw dependent.

I'll have to retry then, I think when I covered the three there was no tapping and it was early on in lily ' s life. I do like teetering on the edge of combustion sometimes.

@RUDE BOY ...guilty.

More consistency will come with time and practice. I found once I know how a good hit felt on my throat was able to replicate it more, but a lot of variables do come into play. I've even found the angle you hold lily can effect the hit. Main time I'm still having trouble getting a good hit is when I'm laying in bed. Not sure why but sitting in a chair always gives me better hits then when I'm chilling in bed with Lily. Anyway just make minor adjustments to angles distance and breath control and soon you'll have your sweet spot. Also found dancing the flame(moving it a little, usually small circle motions) around the periscope helps out

Not going so well anymore. I plug all three holes and am not getting the same vapor as I was in the beginning. It's very harsh now. Ehhh :(
