Custom Glass Ideas/Designs Thread

Damn you, party liquor
@alltoreup @MuushuPork is this the type of mouthpiece you are interested in?

Other members please like this photo if you are interested in this style mouthpiece since it was not one of the options

That's it. Even one of the original pillar shots from above has that MP. It even works on smaller tubes. My HT MP tube is about an inch in diameter and has that rolled top and it's perfect. All you flared MP fans out there, have you tried one like this? I highly suggest you try one if you haven't.

Oh, man, this makes me so excited to see others chiming in and helping with conceptual images want one of these so bad, actually more than one. I sure hope this comes to fruition.

I love this perc. What do you folks thinks of this one for the hookah-desktop bubbler concept?

pardon the ignorance, but does it diffuse through all those slits at the same time? if that's the case it might rob too much flavor, looks pretty cool though

I, too love the look of this perc. That said I bought this.http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/two-functions-new-glass-bongs-water-pipe/190228214.html
It has only two, not the three nested percs. Water level is crucial (it takes a tiny amount of water) Starting pull to get water moving is significant. When you draw on mine, all of the water leaves the outer can and traveles into the outer nested perc. Then it bubbles into the inner perc, and up the neck. I can make a video to help explain (cleaning it now). Basically, IMO a no go for me on another piece with that perc.

I also stumbled onto this. At least good photoshop fodder.

I feel as though there has been a lot of confusion created lately in this thread and this is my attempt to clear things up for people...

I have put a lot of time and effort into this project and also getting Steven as a connection in general. I have done my best to implement my experience with high end glass and understanding of proper function and balance that with your guys request and ideas.

I started this project by myself before this thread was created. I chose to participate in this thread because the OP was on track but since then it seems to have turned into the FC-186 show hosted by @EverythingsHazy and I am getting really sick of it. It didn't even have that neck in the OP.

Many of you have attempted to give input based on personal experience and have been shot down with lengthy responses along the lines of "I don't imagine this or that is important... It's going to be my way". There is no point even naming a piece FC anything if there is no input allowed from follow members.

The large peyote pillar posted by @EverythingsHazy is prototype number 1 after he extensively bothered Steven to get the neck he wanted even though he was asked multiple times not to interfere with this specific seller. He is not running this project even though he has been pretending to in the thread. I will be posting prototype number 2 once it is available to me.

@EverythingsHazy please contact Steven about buying prototype number 1 so FC does not have to deal with you caring on about you getting your way on the so called FC-186

In reality I'm working with @oli on an actual FC-186 if anyone is interested. It will not be straight neck. This is prototype number 1

I respect and admire your organizational skills and emailing ability, we even have a similar taste in the glass market it seems. However, are you financially tied to Stevenlmz79 somehow? Why can't @EverythingsHazy or anyone else for that matter contact and/or request specific work from Stevenlmz? Just seems silly to me, more choices sounds good to me. Maybe I dont know the whole story...

This issue was discussed extensively in previous posts.
Although @EverythingsHazy is the OP in this thread, it is my understanding that @blankrider was the first successful member to have a dhgate seller to contact Steven and agree into making glass the way we wanted, I for one thought that it was a matter of respect to leave @blankrider alone in his dealings with Steven, that way things won't be so confusing as they are getting now.
@EverythingsHazy made me believe he was working with a different seller because he said it was easy to do so, and before he announced his FC pillar @blankrider asked him who was the contact to which blank rider got no reply.
To stop the confusion, and as a matter of respect, I think we should only have one mediator between us and the sellers.:2c:.

I thought this was over a couple weeks ago. If you insist on having a monopoly on steven then you will just have to deal with not getting your way. You're the one who was saying "it's going to be this" "it's NOT going to have anything to do with the fc-186 or be called the fc-186" "can't wait to see this 'so called fc-186"... Then I get one made, and everyone loves it, and you come whining with a stereo matrix pic and say mine is not the fc-186.

The large pillar is coming after these. It will have a matrix perc and bent neck with flared mouthpiece due to popular demand. http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/mouthpiece-and-neck-style-whats-your-preference.16582/ It will not be the FC-186 and will have nothing to do with the original 186

You made the fc-187. You got more than enough credit. Be happy with that, and continue helping make pieces, or don't, but you aren't the only one who can get stuff done.

The fc-186 is badass regardless what you think, and almost eveyrone here agrees. If you don't like it, don't buy it, but it is going to be made and sold as the fc-186 considering the fact that, well, you know.... it is the1 86 with one matrix replaced by a pillar section. I could've had it called the EH-Matrix Pillar since I was the one who got it made, but I told him to call it the fc-186 because everyone here was along for the ride, and I don't care to have full credit and dominance over everything. No stereo matrix piece is going to beat the gb-186 anyway, esp if a neck change is the only thing being done.

The reason the neck isn't like in the OP is because that was a first design and it got changed... That's what happens when people give input.

If you don't like the piece(s) I get made for everyone, don't buy them, and leave them for everyone else who does, but stop wasting everyone's time complaining about them,. It's obvious you've only been on this thread the last couple days since I posted the pic of the Fc-186, and the awesome water test, to post different designs without even acknowledging the new piece (which is fine), and to like all posts that either criticize it by mentioning that it doesn't have a glass ring(neither does the mini-pillar which was supposed to be a complete knock-off anyway), or that criticize the fact that Steven is making it. . TBH, if oli wanted to, he could get everything made himself by messaging steven. Anyone can. Especially if they can actually make a decent mockup pic by themselves.

Instead of just saying no, and opting for a useless feature such as a neck coming from the top of the can just because that's how the Sovereignty piece looked, I gave a legitimate response as to why that is not better for form or function. You're making enough pieces with your preferred necks. Let people have some variety to choose from,
------
Appearance wise, they all look great imo. Very neat looking coming from the top. However, when you picture where your face is going to be, and where your eyes will be, you can see how the neck coming from the top doesnt allow you to see the can at all really, which is imo one of the best features of the gb-186. An unobstructed view into the can, down to where the bubbles are popping and the wisps of vapor are billowing into the open part of the can. It would look especially cool with pillars too imo.
Just my opinion.

Makes sense.
------

Oh, and for the record, I'm not getting paid for any of this, and could've just ordered a single, but decided to be nice and share the awesome piece with everyone since a matrix pillar was my idea posted first in the cheap bubbler thread). No, mentioning a pillar, and saying "we need a knockoff" doesn't make it your idea. Actually editing up something good enough for the Chinese to make for us. is. Again, I didn't even ask for credit, or go around trying to get thanked for it, but I don't care much for any negativity. If you don't like something, don't buy it. Many others will.INcluding those who said they don't like the diffusion pump and prefer the fc-186 over the mini pillar since a lot of vapor users here prefer flowers.

Thanks,
-Hazy

@Stu I've been trying to. I just don't appreciate being publicly put on blast and not being able to respond (in a civil way just for the record), unless the offending post isn't going to be deleted by a mod.

Don't worry tho, I won't be posting more of it in here. I'll just report it to you guys the next time.

So....... what's next on deck for concept pieces.

Think it's possible for them to replicate the bigger Matrix perc and make a Mobius Clear size bubbler? Not a clone, just using a bigger Matrix in a lil bigger can. I was always a fan of the Zob sized bubblers and their big showerheads. I'd be happy with just slits.

Edit: For reference

Damn, they want 4 bills for this piece.

I would love to have a piece with only one perc but MORE DIFFUSION. We have enough options for "flavor", why not go the other way?

I really want a good functioning Klein with a doughut perc on the bottom and decent vortex action. Slow drain please!

I'm with you, out of all the pieces made and shown so far, that's the one I want the most.

Like this one I posted back on page 10 (see below)? I would love a DHgate version of this bad boy.

Yeah those EFS Incyclers are really nice. All clear runs about $500-$600 so I'd love to see a cheap version of that.

I think we are getting a Mothership Incycler IIRC.

Here is one I suggest. Sirenapparatus Swiss Klein. I would like to see a little longer/bigger mouthpiece tube but those details can be hashed out later :D
