RezBlock /Cranberry Extract

Assuming its safe, would you vape through anything other than water if it offered some benefit?

Dabs are vapor too!

the moment I saw where you said extract I knew I had the wrong stuff..... it still seems to aid stacking and ironically it collects the bits that make it through the screen of the lotus off the glass... turned the water pink.... damnit why cant I imagine its extract instead:bang:

drawingboard hear I come...

in my wifes defense she did call to ask if I wanted the extract in pill or liquid form.... aparently the clerk was a dumbass... and I was tooo excited....

now im gonna go drink my bong water in shame. :disgust:

Hey, PM me and I'll send you a bottle of the real stuff!

One thing I am noticing is the ability of the VapeXnail to quickly put the fluids in your diffuser in perspective. I started using my Swagger double chamber circ to gridded barrel turbine for oil only, and my Devastator for flowers only, and noticed a difference in how the fluid "loads" and "ages". When using oil the fluid doesn't change color as much while loading and I'm finding small bits of reclaim in the top turbine chamber, nothing serious, exactly what you would expect. This, imho, is because of a lack of polar (water soluble) compounds in the oil. When you take a hit using flowers there are all kinds of nice water soluble things that get filtered out. However, the VapeXnail whitewalls the tube so hard that everything not touched by fluid, all the way up to the mouthpiece, is nice and sticky. When using the Devastator with flowers, the normal cloudiness ensues as the vaping medium ages. I'm experimenting with higher concentrations of cranberry to combat this oil.

so, I have been using the BCCE in all my rigs the last few days.

wow! :o

this stuff is pretty cool.... I have a feeling I have been using it excessively but my purpose was to see it work and then back it off till my desired parameter were met.

first off.... ive mainly been using it with oil rigs.... some lotus with a c2 ratchet recycler but mainly oil.

I like water conditioning oil dabs when they are very waxy or unwinterized. you can always see the buildup of the low end temp fats and waxes build up on the glass with just distilled water... but with the CE inside at 10 drops in the gordo the waxes and fats coagulate into suspension but do not adhere to the glass... obviously 10 drops is excessive.... but the smoothness of the unwinterized cherry bomb wax I ended up with has improved 10 fold with this products inclusion in my rig. and there is not really any buildup except for joint. just above water level in the stem. there is some there and also with the lotus there was a lot of buildup in the stem of the c2. so with a loose screen and the CE instead of the particles sinking they remain in suspension floating on top...

Hey all,

Question - I just got a vial of the BC extract from @pigfoot (Thanks!), I like it so far. But do I need to refrigerate the extract after opening?

Thanks!

Agree.

If anything, CE/RB feeds bacteria like an NFL linebacker mainlining roids. Dont believe me? Just leave some in your bong for 48 hours in a warm, dark place and see what happens.

Using CE has for sure gotten me into the habit of dumping out and rinsing my glass between sessions, every time.

I am still having luck with adding one drop of nascent iodine tincture to about 250ml of water and a dropper full of extract. It doesn't get rid of the problem totally, but it gives me some wiggle room. Silver Hydrosol worked great but was too expensive. I love mono-atomic metals and their properties though.

That "anti-bacerial" action, if you understand it, is an anti-adhesion property that makes it so the bad guys can't stick to anything and they flush away. Not going to work in a bottle.

Hmm, well I have read that, but I also read this:
Abstract
The antimicrobial effect of cranberry juice and of three cranberry extracts (water-soluble (E1) and apolar phenolic compounds (E2), and anthocyanins (E3)) was investigated against seven bacterial strains (Enterococcus faecium resistant to vancomycin (ERV), Escherichia coli O157:H7 EDL 933, Escherichia coli ATCC 25922, Listeria monocytogenes HPB 2812, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15442, Salmonella Typhimurium SL1344, and Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213). Each cranberry sample was analyzed to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and the maximal tolerated concentration (MTC) at neutral pH. The results, reported in μg phenol/mL, indicated that all the bacterial strains, both Gram-positive and Gram-negative, were selectively inhibited by the cranberry phenolic compounds. The extract rich in water-soluble phenolic compounds caused the most important growth inhibitions. The bacteria ERV, and to a lesser degree, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus and E. coli ATCC 25922, were the most sensitive to the antimicrobial activity of extract E1. The growth of P. aeruginosa and E. coli ATCC was also affected by the presence of the anthocyanin-rich cranberry extract E3, although the observed antibacterial effect was not as important as with extract E1. In general, L. monocytogenes, E. coli O157:H7 and S. Typhimurium were the most resistant to the antibacterial activity of the cranberry extracts. Within 30 min of exposure with pure neutralized cranberry juice, L. monocytogenes and ERV were completely inactivated.

Seems pretty clear, not just anti-adhesion at work here. Don't get me wrong, not interested in arguments,
just curious.

Can't argue with the facts ^^^^ So, what is going on? Residual sugars maybe? The growth that occurs is fungus? Yeast?

Yes, I realize this, however it has not worked out in practice for our needs "in vitro". The effect is too weak.
