Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

I have a question.

How high are you after a session with the EVO?
My dear mvapes!

I'm usually blitzed after 2 ELBs if that gives you an idea. And I really mean blitzed. People usually can't tell' when I'm medicated anymore, but all of my friends said I looked way higher than usual as well.

It floored all of my heavy smoking/ vaping friends in about 1 bowl.

To me, I get as high as back when I first started combusting.

EDIT: I should also mention that I've never seen ABV so dark.

I do not know if this means much, but I was a little to medicated from the EVO this morning when I left for work. I know this because when I got home the EVO was on flashing its lights at me:doh:. Can not believe I left it on. 5 minutes later I am dabbing with the EVO and happily stoned:)

I was worried that leaving my EVO like that may have been bad for which is why I am so relieved it is still functioning 100%

Not to mention it has taken me a considerable amount of time to type this.

So thats how high the EVO gets me haha:rofl:

EDIT: I should also mention that that kind of behavior is very unlike me. I DOUBLE CHECK EVERYTHING. This morning I forgot. I agree with Dr. Plutoniuos. The EVO brings me back to when I first started using this magic plant.

I still can't get over the airflow element of it and I think that's really what appeals to me and many of my combustion friends.

You can only milk a glass piece to a certain point and you can honestly milk most pieces with almost any vape. I've filled up my massive Lev beaker with a Davinci.

To do that though you always have to restrict airflow to a degree because you'll never get thick vapour pulling super hard, heat doesn't stay on the herbs long enough.

Not the Cloud. You rip this thing as hard as you wan't and boom. Milk. And not only milk but you see the milk is moving fast and swirling around in the glass because of the airflow.

I mean, a hit from the EVO is like a THC punch to the face.

Please tell us more about car use, which inverter (model, etc...), ...
without altenator running ? So it would be possible to run it directly from the car battery ? ...

ty :peace:

I am no electrician, or no genius. but i would assume if your car isn't running the battery would be putting out slightly less volts based on the fact that the alternator isn't running. I will look up my type of power inverter next time i run to my car, but it is rather high end. I have used a one plug surge protector in the past, but didn't on thanksgiving. i would never start the car with the unit plugged in ever.

When the Cloud was released, how long after did the problems start coming out?

I started to post what is probably a lot more info than you're looking for. Would help to know what kinds of problems you are referring to, what you are trying to determine.

And, is this the right thread for this? (Vtac laid down some rules, don't know if we're still supposed to conform to those. And does this belong in the Cloud thread, not EVO?)

I meant like just in general when did people come on here and start complaining, I thought it was the right thread because most people in here had the Cloud and I've seen a lot of them in here talking about their old one breaking.

Good points. The Clouds had different issues at different times. The only people who can give accurate details without extensive research are the few VXL people who have been there since the original Cloud launch, and they sure don't have time to do so.

And does this belong in the Cloud thread, not EVO?
Yes it does. Previous Cloud issues concern the Cloud, not the Cloud EVO. Not to say some of the same problems can't occur, but the EVO qualifies as a different model. If you're wary of buying due to previous problems, then wait until EVO reliability has been determined.

You'll have to do some reading in the Cloud thread. There's no good answer to your question that can be posted with accuracy without writing a page long post, and that's not gonna happen, especially in the EVO thread. It's not on topic. Ask your questions in the Cloud thread.

I think the answer to this question no longer holds any relevance because we are manufacturing everything ourselves now and not using contract manufacturers anymore. I'm not going to go into details as they have been discussed ad naseum in the other thread but what I can tell you is that now that we are doing everything ourselves, we feel confident that the gremlins of our past are a thing of the past. Not only that, based on early reviews, the EVO is a noticeable upgrade to the Cloud :)

OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
Question:
Bent neck Swagger turbine HT (Early Bird perk)...how much water do you use?
Cover just the bottom slits or fill the bottom section and cover the turbine slits? Or?

I have two of the original "ticking" Clouds, I purchased pretty early and I think they were built by the VXL team. I have had zero issues with either Cloud, each one still works perfectly (though I am looking forward to the EVO's faster heat up times)

personally i fill to a few mls under the turbine for best diffusion.
any other thoughts?

Same here.

Originally when I got it I had no idea, so I stood in front of a mirror and watched the water as I pulled on the tube. A good amount of the water goes above the turbine as soon as you start hitting it, so I tried different water levels.

Filling the bottom chamber almost to the top gives you enough water in the tube that when you pull on it (and some of the water goes into the upper chamber above the turbine) there is still enough water in the bottom chamber to cover all the slits. So even when pulling hard, you are still utilizing all openings through water.

also, to get the water to drop back down, just tilt slightly, i am guessing the bulk of you will figure that out quick enough, but since we were on the subject..

Question fellow EVOers:
does the bamboo in your units squeaks or makes noises??

Really impressed by the power of the EVO.
So much testing at home plus visits to PhotoRider house made my lungs a little weak. Maybe too much oils :)
Right now I'm adding extra glass path, plus Y adapter, plus 8arm tree A/C, on my waffle bub.
Even went to 3 and felt smooth and not a trace of popcorn but last hits were tasteless but cloudy.
Regular ELBs and m-ELBs pre filled are a bonus to hit one after another
Stay vaped...

Edit: water level halfway before the turbine or bit more. It's nice the turbine creates a funnel effect a la recycler that is visually nice. I wonder if it creates a tornado like vapor path to the MP.
Trying later just to see :brow:

as for the water level the best I have found is just a few mm lower than the turbine. my reasoning. who hits their HT exactly level? I'd wager nearly no one. One thing I learned once I got to play with percs that have holes on all sides of the "downstem" is that if you have the water level "perfect" then you have to hit it in an awkward position.

most people hit it while the tube is on a tilt. And once this happens the upper side of the perc is no longer underwater. that means the easiest path of flow is now not going through any water. :( the turbine works great with this water level too btw :)

If you're correct, then I'm one of the very few who hits their HT completely level. My vaping station is on a raised bathroom counter and the height is perfect for this.

are the glass pieces that come with the EVO single or double perc?

I prefer single, as too much water just washes down the vapor imo
