How would a glass atomizer achieve and retain thermal equilibrium with the metal heater?

i can't read it. no spaces at the end of sentences makes it hard to tell when a thought stops. my brain literally shuts down, lol. my loss

same here. good content but hard as fuck to read. I had to highlight it with my mouse as I went along to make sure I followed it right.

@ our friend @quitestoned. spaces and paragraph breaks are your friend. Or at least you should get to know them (the space and enter keys). They are actually nick folks once you get to know them. ;)

maybe you typed that wall o text out on your phone though?

You would have to do it carefully, increase the heat gradually so the glass won't crack from the expansion.

It could be done, but I don't think the sub needs a glass atomizer. The extra time to heat it, the extra cost, and the extra risk of breakage, would probably outwiegh any benefits you might get from an all glass atomizer.

Actually, the only benefit I can think of would be the possibility of better flavour, but I doubt you would actually be able to taste the difference.

The sv1 has a super short metal vapor path (2"), which is similar to the subs atomizer. I have replaced the the sv1 metal tube with a glass adaptor, I didn't notice any improvement in taste.

i do agree the sputnik is tops ,but just wait till u get ur hands on an apollo!bought the mercury kit(no 240v version yet+alleged heater issues?+having 2 use step down converter,i would wait...)well,loved the theatrics of waving a blue flame around, but so many different factors, tip of the blue cone, how long the cone?which parts of sputnik?(hold up 2 night sky when heating, top hollywood re-entry effect, hence sputnik?)if come in high ur toasting it before ideal temp as it now cools,if u come in 2 cool+heat 2 get there, same sorta of thing.dont get me wrong it works great, leaves the apollo 4 dead in terms of speed,on its own traveling, sitting on the beach(ha,as enricos vid!:)it is top fun,it was certainly proof of concept+then some(fuk this is a whole story in its self:).i HAD 2 have an apollo previous reasoning cast aside:)but as u probally figured from everyone else +their prefered precise spot, dashing past upwards +downards of that point aint ever gonna b the same:)percent wise at best with sputnik,it was about 30%of what i get with apollo.because its nailed everytime,no up +down stuff.compleatly consistent.more so with a killa watt, currently winging its way:)no wonder people wernt turning theirs off.fuk i feel the same.shall probally buy a backup apollo(ha if only:).like some one said cant imagine not being sublimated.keys 2 the universe.every outrageous claim about the sublimator(+there sure is some pretty wild ones!!)i now know 2 b totally true.every single word........

I simply use a timer while using my UFO and have consistent results every time. I'm never disappointed and I never have unsatisfying hits. As long as you use the same routine every time it should work the same as pumping electricity to it at a constant temp as well (with some obvious differences). Its just not worth the coin to buy another vape when I have that same vape just a slightly different version....maybe one day I'll sell some vapes and get a TI Apollo. Until then I'll be torchin! And I get 100% of my bowls. Coffee colored ABV. Same as all your guys apollo vids and pics.

Plus the blue torch flame is the only Sub fuel source that you can pretend is a lightsaber :p

i agree u can certainly narrow everything down + b very consistent,but it is indeed an art.u get 2 understand whats happening better(thermal equalibrium etc),everyone should have 1,but 2 b able 2 use it at a moments notice...now that is something:)this will make more sense when u get one.its all good:).Jedi skills+light sabers notwithstanding:)sorry about the distressing grammar,what can i say?sublimated text:)or a collection of random thoughts,spelling mysteaks included.hey who cares?,just skip 2 next:)keep sublimain,of course

Three quick questions.

1) How hot does the adapt-a-bong run. I want to know if I can use it for one or two bowls and have it back in a drawer safely like 10 minutes later.

2) Is the Kill-a-Watt still an "essential" part of the setup?

3) Am i just too stoned and not reading these posts right, what is all this about using a torch with a Sub. It's not 100% Electric???

You guys are so worried about nothing. My sub can max out at 55-56 watts now. Woohoo, and all I do is train my sub to be efficient. Like say I come home from work and wanna shower I turn it on (dial already set at perfect last temp) if it is too hot I turn it down a bit and go do my thing. 15 minutes I am ready to sub and wind down. Been doing this since I got it in September. Only times I leave it on override is when I am gaming like GTA5 so I wanna keep subbing my waxes and herbs. Holy moly Tahoe OG + CO2 extracted True OG Honeycomb = pure tasty lemons and OG smashed my face. I tried to take a hit from my friend's blunt yesterday and hated it. Forreal the taste of that made me wanna yack. I went back to subbin and cured my throat. I had to see how different and that was an experiment that made me curious so definitely learned my lesson there.

Using the PNWT on the mouthpiece? It's like a FrankenWasserpheife with all the attachments. How's the sub hit with that kind of multiple cooling, is the vapor thinner?

Its a bit thinner, but very smooth. I'll most likely not put water in the bubbler and only in the pnwt or use a hose on that 18>14 adapter. I think I'm mostly just bored & baked too much.:spliff:

Thanks for the answers, but does this mean the UFO/Sputnik needs a torch? I don't wanna buy a Sub that requires me to have a torch on hand to use.

Yes it requires a torch, and one with a wider flame is preferred. Plumbers torch is best I believe, very cheap with a little camping propane tank.

The new Sublimator products look awesome! New temp controllers on ti units and tubes mid December! Especially excited for that. Also Enrico talks of a quartz sublimator coming out within a year.

Looks like Tommi has been having a lot of fun.

Please tell me when we can upgrade for an affordable price tag from PV.. I wanna catch a glimpse of these warlocks already.

1. it's f'n hot! my most dangerous vape I own. make sure you can use it in a place where your pets/kids cant get near it. I wouldn't want to put it in a drawer... but if i was going to do that it would be put in some sort of plate or dish cause on the drawer itself it may start a fire.

2. no it's not. (*disclaimer* I have the adapt abong dimmer switch version) I have never used one, and i operate mine just fine. go by feel. find your sweet spot, and mark it off with a sharpie on the dial and box. not sure what the newer models use exactly. maybe you do? all depends on the version you buy.

3. there is a keychain and also a camping edition. and it's not electric. thats' what you are hearing about. if you buy the apollo then there is no torch needed ever.
