You should make the video unlisted instead of private so we can see it if you don't want it to show up on normal youtube. But what happens when you plug in the power cord? Does it charge like normal? Does it do something different? Because in my experience when I turn on the solo and I get a solid red charge light but doesn't heat that means the battery is totally worn out.

Sorry if you already addressed some of those q's in your video, but make it so we can watch it ;)

Fixed the video.

Here is a video of me plugging the power cord into the unit:

Thanks for fixing your vids!
That looks normal. With the battery level that low it'll probably take at least 5 or 6 hours to fully charge. That's why you want to put it on the charger before it gets to the last 2 or 3 dots of battery level.

I don't see anything too weird in your other video either, so find a new outlet that isn't being used by anything and plug it in. Go check on it in about 6 hours (or tomorrow, whatever) and see if its charging up properly.

I think red in the charge light is the low voltage lock out. The battery is dead flat, off the bottom of the scale. I'd try a many hour charge as Dreamer suggests......

Does anyone know if one would be able to purchase an older Solo that has the ceramic heating element rather than the newer stainless steel ones?

Ive used mine till it died and theres no way it took more than 2.5 hours to fully charge. Maybe your battery is on its last legs?

In no way am I an expert just going from my own experience.

edit: just read back a bit and i think OF covered this already. I should have known!

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
Why would you need one? The SS ones are amazing and much easier to clean... :2c:

Agreed ! and besides, the ceramic was just a coating that usual chipped/flaked off anyways. But I did/do like how it retained the heat better in my ole M102.

Ya I gotta say. Whenever I hit a new solo it doesn't compare to my m102. Didn't they lower the temps my 20 degrees from the old models as well?

shredhead,
For those who want to know if they would rather have the PVHES and can't find it in stock it has been said many times to get the omni tip.

I guess I missed this many times then... Are you saying these fit the Solo?

Damn, been away for 3 weeks and it took over 3 days to catch back up... you guys post fast.

Pipes, I'm loving the super fast development of your all in one plug, I hope to be one of your first customers for one.

Soloman, hows the essential vape setup working for you? I was never able to pull large clouds from a dram setup for oil, however, significant effects. the black essential vape body looks great with the black solo. I actually sent my setup to Dreamerr a while back to spice up a parcel, and I hope that she has figured out how to use it. Anyways, hello everybody, good to be back.

PS: I think i read one (1)!! non-robot like ataxian post in the past ~30 pages :rofl:How you been my friend? what is this im reading about lemonade?:mental:

Help FC, I have a Solo emergency!

I accidentally blew into my PN WT while vaping and water somehow got into the GonG and consequently into the unit. Now the unit doesn't seem to be heating up at all. I don't think that much water got inside, but I could hear it sizzling against the heating element after it happened. I shut the unit off and shook it until it seemed like all the water was out. Am I screwed?
I remember 20 years ago when cell phones were bigger than they are now.
tumblr_lpzs887b7c1qd6hefo1_400.jpg

Went to use a WATER CLOSET as they are called over seas.
I dropped the phone in the toilet.
Putting my hands to retrieve it was something I could not do.
So I flush the toilet with the phone accompanied with human waste.

I was screwed!

Electronics and water do not pair well!

Just now a weird thing happened
My Solo with stock stem and bent screen, just went into a unlimited cloud mode :whoa: middle of it , I was like WoW
20-30 clouds

is your stem dirty? i find that the oil collected in the stem will drip down into the bowl bringing about this phenomenon you refer to as unlimited cloud mode.

Always in a state of confusion and silliness♀
King yes Buildozer is correct. I don't do oils so omni, omi same then. I didn't even know what that thing you showed was and still don't but will look it up later now. You use a stock stem and put the silicone tip and it will give you an indication whether or not you want to spend the money on the PVHES stem. I personally think they are great stems but so are stock. I use both and all setups. I have been having to use water the last few days so the hes stems is really important for that IMO. I did get tired of water last night and went right the the hes with the chillum attached as you have seen in Mr. Robots pics. The silicone tip is always attached to my PN. Now that I think about it I may try the chillum but I used to have a glass straw on it and it makes it to heavy with that vape. I still use it sometimes when I need the longer and cooler path.

RCLFO LMNOP lol welcome back and no I didn't figure it out yet. I am waiting for you to teach me when you get settled.

It's only bad for you if you really want to do it again right away......it takes time to build those deposits up.....

Time to get cracking on that part doncha think?
