Those are some shots of the buttons and the area where the crucible/oven/bowl thing sits... I forgot if it had an official name. One of the things I noticed is the tactility of the buttons. They worked very hard to get the clicky-ness of the button down. It is not to hard to press, just feels right. They also contoured some of the buttons so that you can not be looking at the buttons but still feel the differences.

One of the interesting things about the prototype is that is was 3d printed... WHOA!!!! they can do some amazing things with 3d printers these days. I took lots of buffing and sanding to get it to look so smooth.

Jeez, what kind of 3D printer are they using?

I'm liking this more and more every thing I hear about it. It is so well designed, from the buttons, to to protective shell, to a convenient place to store your whip... they are thinking of everything!

The only issue I see with a whip is possibly the smell.. Is the storage area for the whip going to be airtight?

They tried to get the length of the hose just right so that it would not really condense on the sides as much. The longer the hose the more the vapor can cool down and the more it can start to condense on the side of the hose. Towards the end of the mouth piece there was some build up, but I was told it was from many uses with out being cleaned. I did not notice much of a smell from the hose at all. I was impressed with how clean the hose was staying. I imagine cleaning it once a week with some ISO or hot water will be enough to keep it clean and smell free.

I use to use a short whip on my Extreme Q, I don't ever recall hose smell really being a issue

This may have been covered already but.. I'm assuming replacement hoses will be available?

Is the bottom screen easy to remove and clean? No matter what vape I use dust is always going to fall through and build up.

The engineer in me likes this vape design the best out of everything I have seen so far.
1. Super fast heat up time
2. Digital controls
3. Very accurate temperature (I assume)
4. Removeable easy to clean parts
5. Compact, closes, and does not look like a vape
6. and my favorite reason.... Multiple uses!!! Aromatherapy, bags, whips, etc..

I hope this thing is priced super high so I can talk myself out of another vape. Can this thing be used as an air freshener too? I imagine something like those glade plugins that have little fans to blow air very slowly over some scented oil sticks. That would be slick indeed.

...or else....

This little robot looks dope.
I like him so far!
Cant believe it is 3D printed, well...I can actually. They are pretty neat devices! Expensive though! They must be using a really nice one!

I'm not sure if you've heard of Trendy Nay on youtube but he is affiliated with this company and all he chooses to do is talk bad about the Sublimator stating it's a knock off from the Herbalizer.

I don't think the Herbalizer can do a duo hit of Cannabis herb and concentrate, or does it?

Does it break the Cannabis resin molecules down and turn them to a gas like the sublimator does?

Don't remember the exact type but it was a medical grade silicone... if I remember correctly. It is not totally smell free, but they try and optimize it to help reduce those issues.
Does the hose attract dirt/dust particles? I noticed if i placed my vivapes hose onto a dirty surface it would attract all kinds of dust/hair etc...
If not I'm sure you can make your own very easily.
Or buy some from all the other whip companies. My local store carries the 7th floor tubing so i just buy a ton of that at a time...

As for smell, ive noticed theres nothing really that can be done to prevent it from dirtying/smelling especially after some time. At least thats my experience with the silver surfer tubing. Iso and water will remove the built up resin or whatever but it also leaves water marks and makes the tubing look weird. It also doesnt get rid of the amberish brown tint. Again that is just my experience with SSV and very briefly with vaporfections silicone tubing

The more i see this the more i want it though. My only complaint about my vivape is that i dont have anywhere to store my whip, (and that you cant turn off the fan)

CAN YOU FIND what hasn't been revealed? This cross-section view also gives you a glimpse at how much engineering went into blending design and function - because as much as we love good technology we feel you shouldn't have to look at it.
Can you? :D

Status Update: the pain of releasing a new (and admittedly over-designed) high-tech device is incredibly real, like the slow draw of a salty razor blade over wet flesh. The long pole in the tent is, and always has been, the plastics "molds" used for injection molding. They are.. complicated. And while thought to be perfect and released, Murphy showed up to say "not yet." So they are getting re-tuned and re-polished. Meanwhile 95% of the other parts are here, and waiting, like you and me.

Happy to Announce: Herbie will debut at the CHAMPS tradeshow in Las Vegas July 23rd! And herbalizer.com revamped website will be up before the end of the month and Pics and Vids to follow the tradeshow, and hopefully favorable testimonials.

One More Thing: Herbie has a super cool hidden feature to show off. It's pretty spectacular and surprising. Something ultra discreet, ultra useful, and shockingly no one has asked about yet. Coming soon..

Can You

What's the compartment in the lid for?

My greatest concern at this point is availability of extra herb containers.
