Discontinued The Sublimator

I can't answer all your questions right now - because I'm saving them for the full review - if I ever get around to it.

I used to cough up a lung smoking good bud in the same glass piece I'm using right now if it wasn't mixed with any tobacco - I've accidentally combusted at least once (I think just the once) and I didn't notice a difference in harshness on the throat - only that the ABV was ash instead of anything with some molecular structure.

As far as the sublimate goes - I see red amber oil at the bottom of my Atomizer - but I am not attempting to reclaim at this point because I haven't managed to successfully clean the ash catcher the Atomizer is sitting in 100%. (I'm sure that's blasphemous to some considering the strain I'm using - but I am waiting for the PV reclaimer).

The high lasts hours on the tiniest amount of bud.

I haven't felt the munchies in years - I've felt them every day since I got the sublimator.

I have more intriguing tid bits to add - but I want to do the Sublimator justice - I owe Enrico and Planet Vape that much.

The only thing that will tell the truth is time. When people use it after a week, then go back to using regular vaporizers, AT A TEMPERATURE OF 385f, AND UP, they would be able to differentiate between the two. Chances are regular vaporizer won't be strong enough, unless they take their time, and let the vapor build up in their system which is how cannabis or any food works when ingested in a healthy manor. The reason it may not be strong enough is because they are experiencing adrenaline fatigue, which lowers cerebral blood flow, and in turn will raise their tolerance. If it does what it says, and allow more cannabinoids into the system without the adrenaline rush that I state, they should still be able to be satisfied with a thin mist a regular vaporizer can provide being that it's approximately the same amount of cannabinoids going into the system.

Also, if they feel they have less energy to do active things after the first week, then they have accumulated a lot of cbn in their system, and it made them lethargic. The only way to tell is if they try to do a nice run. If they are using a regular vaporizer correctly they should not be too tired to run, but if they have a build up of cbn, and have low adrenaline, they just want a nice jog or just a walk due to not having the energy to get going from excess cbn, and adrenaline fatigue.

I remember reading this post couple of months ago..marked it..wanted to bump it up once people had Sub for a while...here we are ! So how about it Sub users...how are your energy levels after 1 week of only using Sub? Are you guys lethargic!! :p can't do no physical activity?? :D excess cbn and adrenaline fatigue? do a nice run and report! hehe :D

I still love my sub, tried the oil reclaim that it makes tonight. wow :) very nice! :) red like everyone says too. wonder why that is eh??

ive had a few strains that make red oils, but not many...

I have began to experiment with different temps with the sub now too. it's a very nice vape, but the safety of it still concerns me a little.

agreed, this makes me feel exploited :2c:
time for me to calm and wait for statements or changes until sales go live

In the same boat as you, I purchased the Sublimator Kit based off of the picture on Sublimator.ca and Planetvape.ca as my 2 reference points for pictures and when I eventually was told what I was receiving down the road it turned out to be the sublimator limited edition, very nice unit, I very much so enjoy this unit, but I am in the same boat as others. I was willing to pay 750-800$ for that upgraded unit, but paying the 800 bucks I did in the end for this limited edition felt a bit over priced especially because technically it was falsely advertised. I felt a little taken advantage of but I got over it after I got fucked off my sub.

Very cool setup jam

how about experimenting with some Low temp hits? :D how does it do! There are safety concerns for Everything in this world...The other day I saw someone impale their palm with a fork!! so worry less and experiment more!! So back to low temp hits...If someone wanted to strictly do low temp hits, would the sub be a wrong choice device for that :D

In my opinion it works great at low temps. I tend to stick to higher ones personally but it does fine on lower settings.

I have found that the low temp hits taste much better, they have a less "fully roasted" taste compared to the temp I normally go at and have the dial set in for. you also should stir and revape the bowl 2 more times i'd say. I found I was still getting clouds then...

whereas normally. it's a one hit and the bowl is spent deal. the taste is not as good as the lower temp. and by lower temp I mean about 5 mm down on the dial from where I normally use it at. because the dial is logarithmic, a little adjustment makes a big difference. so once you have found your sweet spot, i'd say mark it in the middle of the dial as PV suggests and then you can play around from there.

for oils you would crank it up obviously. I have yet to put oil in a crater though

I am not finding the Sub high to be lethargic, unless I sit here and power hit this thing, then I just get blasted, and any of my vapes would do this to me if I use them heavy anyway. I am actually finding the high a bit more energetic and functional. My ABV is coming out a med-dark brown after 1-2 hits, so I am running it pretty warm. The oil it makes hits me pretty hard too, but not as hard as straight up oil does. Maybe I'll get that voltage reader in the mail today, so I can see where my sweet spot is.

I find I can dab oils fine in the 25 watt range (lighter duff), but a higher temp will avoid some of the oil running into the bowl. Either way, it still fucks me up just fine. :ko:

not that I've actually tried it to make this comparison, but I think the sublimator produces a high that is more akin to a cocaine high; you feel supreme levels of energy with absolutely no burn out - unless you decide to use it five times in twenty minutes...
